Godolkin University!

Solomon left Madelyn's office and headed straight back to his apartment on the 99th floor.

He had imagined countless possibilities: Madelyn refusing outright, Homelander flying into a rage and blasting his head apart with his laser eyes. What he had never expected was for Homelander to speak up for him instead.

Why?

Could it be because he had given him his word?

Impossible!

Homelander's word had never meant anything. It was no different from a fart. If he actually trusted him, he would die at his hands sooner or later.

He reached out and picked up the glass on the table. With a crack, it instantly shattered in his hand, scattering shards across the floor.

Solomon was not surprised at all. In fact, he had noticed the problem long ago.

Once his strength reached level 2, it had surged dramatically. From the club to Madelyn's office, then back to his apartment, he had deliberately controlled his strength the whole way, afraid to touch anything or even sit down for fear of accidentally causing damage.

He would have to take a break for a while and get used to his improvement.

This was actually very common among Supes, especially when they first awakened their abilities or their strength increased significantly. Many Supes accidentally caused damage because they could not control their strength, and some even injured their own loved ones.

Fortunately, he had Self-Duplication. His duplicates could work together with his original body to adjust, making the process far faster than it was for ordinary Supes.

In just one day, he had fully adjusted to level 2 strength.

By his rough estimate, level 2 strength was about ten times level 1, putting it at around ten tons.

Following that calculation, level 3 strength would reach at least a hundred tons.

As for Homelander's strength, it was either level 3 or level 4. He estimated that he would need at least level 3.5 strength to barely hold his own against Homelander's strength.

Not to mention that Homelander also had laser eyes whose immense destructive power rivaled his strength.

Solomon knew he still had a long way to go before reaching the strongest people in this world.

In terms of head-on combat ability alone, he did not even rank among the top three in The Seven.

Homelander, Queen Maeve, and Black Noir-any one of those three could wipe the floor with him.

Still, he should be able to handle A-Train, The Deep, and Starlight.

A-Train was only a little faster than him. Taking him head-on might be somewhat difficult, but a surprise attack should bring him down easily. After all, even Kimiko could easily break his leg.

Starlight's strength and durability were both fairly average, probably only at level 1, but her light-based attacks should reach level 2, provided she had a sufficient source of light.

Moreover, Starlight's light-based ability happened to complement his Light Eyes. With the right combination, they should be quite powerful.

As for The Deep, his ability was actually pretty good. He was almost unbeatable in the ocean, but on land, he was weak as hell, no different from an ordinary Supe.

If Solomon fought him on land, his chances of winning would be extremely high.

But in the ocean, he might not be able to beat The Deep.

If he wanted to acquire all three of their powers, The Deep would definitely be the easiest, followed by A-Train, with Starlight last.

Solomon rubbed his chin and began weighing his options. He already had A-Train's Super Speed, so there was no hurry there.

The Deep's ability would be of little use to him in the short term. It was not as though he often went into the ocean.

Energy attacks, on the other hand, were what he lacked most at present.

He might as well get Starlight's ability first. Not only could that greatly increase his energy stat, it might even unlock flight.

Flight had been humanity's dream since ancient times!

At that thought, Solomon could no longer sit still. He sprang to his feet and strode out of his apartment.

He could not wait to find Starlight and have an exhilarating fight with her, taking the opportunity to defeat her and seize her light-based ability.

But after searching around, he had not seen so much as a trace of Starlight. Her apartment was empty, she was nowhere on the 99th floor, and he could not even find any sign of her anywhere in Vought Tower.

Left with no choice, Solomon went to ask Ashley, only to learn that Starlight had no shoots scheduled that day, nor any other work commitments.

"Fuck! Hughie!"

Solomon suddenly remembered. It was probably around this time that Starlight had gotten involved with Hughie. Their relationship was heating up fast, so they had presumably sneaked out on a date.

Forget it, forget it. I'll leave Starlight for now. If it weren't for Hughie, I wouldn't have become a Supe in the first place. Better not interrupt his date.

He turned toward the nearby television screen, which was playing an advertisement for Godolkin University. Onscreen, a group of young Supes were training, displaying all sorts of abilities in turn and instantly catching Solomon's attention.

Maybe I could visit Godolkin University?

An idea stirred in Solomon's mind. Godolkin University was the only university in the world exclusively for superheroes.

A-Train, The Deep, and even Queen Maeve had all graduated from this university before joining The Seven directly.

The most convenient route into The Seven was to stand out at Godolkin University.

More importantly, every student at Godolkin University was a Supe, possessing all sorts of abilities. It was practically the perfect place for him to grow stronger and seize abilities!

He had heard of the university's reputation before he had even become a Supe, but back then, he had not had what it took to get in.

Now, however, he was already a member of The Seven. Perhaps he could enter openly, and even teach some Supes how to fight as their "senior."

That way, he could legitimately come into contact with more Supes, seize opportunities to defeat them, and improve himself.

The more he thought about it, the better the idea seemed. Solomon immediately turned around and went back to Ashley's office, pushing the door open and getting straight to the point.

"I want to go to Godolkin University!"

Ashley had been buried in paperwork. At his words, she instantly raised her head and stared at Solomon in utter bewilderment.

"What do you want to go to Godolkin University for?"

A bad feeling instantly rose within her. This guy isn't planning to go to Godolkin University to beat up Supes, is he?

No. Absolutely not!

Ashley immediately shook her head and said firmly:

"No! Absolutely not. You can't go! You're not really Translucent yet. You should stay out of the public eye as much as possible, especially places full of Supes like Godolkin University. If anyone spots something wrong and starts questioning your identity, we'll be in trouble!"

Solomon froze for a moment. He had forgotten about that. He was still a "stand-in" and had not yet been officially announced as the new Translucent. It really was best not to draw too much attention.

He frowned and asked:

"Then when can I completely replace that already stone-dead Translucent and become the next Translucent?"
