Solomon waved a hand, offering no further explanation, and walked straight to the center of the training ground. He turned and beckoned to Blindspot.

"Nothing. Come on, Blindspot. Let me get a good look at that super hearing you're so proud of. Beat me, and I'll give you my spot in The Seven!"

At the words "spot in The Seven," Blindspot instantly turned toward Solomon. Without the slightest hesitation, he strode over to face him.

Seeing this, Ashley hurried forward a step and snapped urgently:

"Wait! He doesn't get to decide that! He has no authority to decide who gets a spot in The Seven! Fuck!"

Solomon ignored Ashley completely and beckoned to Blindspot again. He hadn't even taken off his clothes, and his tone was contemptuous.

"Come on, little bat."

Those two words, "little bat," utterly enraged Blindspot.

His brows knitted and his expression darkened. He quickly reached to his waist, drew a sharp throwing dart, and flicked his wrist. The dart whistled through the air, shooting straight toward Solomon's chest.

Solomon stood rooted to the spot, not moving an inch. He didn't even dodge.

A smug smile immediately appeared on Blindspot's face. Translucent? What a joke. He couldn't even dodge a dart.

Did he really think turning invisible made him invincible?

No one could hide from my super hearing.

But the next second, when the dart struck Solomon hard, the smile on his face froze, then vanished completely.

With a sharp clang, the dart bounced hard off Solomon's skin and fell to the ground without leaving so much as a white mark.

Solomon sneered, making no attempt to hide the mockery in his voice.

"If you watched more TV, you'd know my superpower is carbon-fiber super skin, not just invisibility. Oh, right, I forgot. You're blind. You can't watch TV. Come on, I'll give you a few free shots so you can't say I'm bullying you!"

Those disdainful words ignited Blindspot's fury completely.

He roared, turned, and snatched up an iron javelin nearby. Gripping it in both hands, he put all his strength into a vicious thrust at Solomon's chest, with enough force to almost puncture the air.

This time, not only did Solomon not dodge, he thrust out his chest and leaned forward a little, meeting the javelin's point head-on.

Clang-!

The piercing sound of clashing metal rang throughout the training ground. The javelin's point pressed hard against Solomon's chest, unable to advance even a fraction farther.

Like a slab of indestructible alloy, Solomon pressed against the javelin and walked toward Blindspot, step by step.

Blindspot clenched his teeth, his face flushing crimson as he strained with all his strength to drive the javelin forward, even trying to send Solomon flying.

But no matter how hard he pushed, Solomon remained unbudging. Instead, he pushed Blindspot backward step by step, wearing faint marks into the ground beneath his feet.

Off to the side, Ashley was utterly dumbfounded. Her eyes widened and her mouth fell open as she muttered:

"Holy shit! How is he so strong?"

She had originally thought that even if Blindspot couldn't hurt Solomon, his fighting skills and strength would still let him batter Solomon into a sorry state.

After all, as far as she knew, Translucent could only turn invisible. His defense was high, but his strength was unremarkable.

By all rights, even if Blindspot's all-out strike couldn't break through his defenses, it should still have sent Solomon flying. She had never imagined Solomon would not only withstand it easily, but also push Blindspot steadily back.

Watching Blindspot's contorted face as he struggled with all his might yet remained helpless, Ashley felt a storm of shock rising within her.

Solomon was far stronger than the previous Translucent—so strong that he exceeded even her imagination!

Blindspot panicked completely as well. He finally realized Solomon's strength was far greater than he had imagined. In a contest of strength, he had no chance of winning.

And with Solomon's defense so absurdly powerful, how could he possibly beat him when he couldn't even break through it?

Blindspot began to think of retreating and tried to pull back his javelin. But before he could exert any force, Solomon grabbed its shaft and gave a sharp tug.

Blindspot felt an irresistible surge of tremendous force. His entire body was yanked forward, and he lost his balance, stumbling right in front of Solomon.

Solomon's gaze turned cold. He raised his hands, gathered all his strength, and slammed them against Blindspot's ears, his voice bone-chilling:

"Is your super hearing that impressive? Then how about this?!"

Blindspot had no time to react. A deafening noise erupted in both ears, and his eardrums instantly ruptured. Agonizing pain swept through his body like a tide, spreading from his ears throughout his head.

The excruciating pain instantly robbed him of his balance. His legs buckled, and he collapsed to the ground, convulsing nonstop.

Blood poured continuously from his ears, quickly staining the training ground floor red in a horrifying sight.

"Ding. Defeated Supe Blindspot. Acquired ability: echolocation."

Looking at Blindspot convulsing in agony on the ground, Solomon pulled a disgusted face and instinctively stepped aside a few paces, muttering:

"No wonder Homelander likes doing this. It really does feel great! Let's see if you dare run your mouth again!"

He glanced at Blindspot, who was still screaming, then turned and walked toward Ashley. His tone was flat, but carried an unquestionable authority.

"Remember what you said. Bring a Supe over tomorrow. I want someone qualified to fill a spot in The Seven. Don't bring me any more trash that can only blow rainbow farts."

Ashley was still in shock, staring at Solomon in terror, unable to get a single word out.

Only when Solomon's retreating figure was about to disappear through the training ground entrance did she snap out of it. She hurried forward a couple of steps to follow, shouting to the staff at the door, "Get someone to help Blindspot!" as she rushed to Solomon's side, her voice tinged with distress and anger.

"You can't do this! You fucking nearly killed him! There's no way I'm providing you with any more Supes! You said before that you'd only beat them up!"

Solomon continued walking as he said casually:

"You should be thankful Homelander never heard him say, 'With super hearing, you don't need super vision.' Otherwise, he'd already be a dead man. I saved him, understand?"

Solomon instinctively twitched his ears, and clear images instantly surfaced in his mind.

He perceived the layout of the entire floor, the people in every room, their movements, and their conversations with precision. It was like a game map that updated in real time, only even clearer.

So this was echolocation? It really was useful.

"Ashley, you really should screen the candidates for The Seven properly. Someone this arrogant, who runs his mouth without restraint, will get himself killed with that mouth sooner or later even if he makes it into The Seven. He'll drag Vought's reputation down with him, too. The others might not do anything to him, but what about you? You're just an ordinary person. If you choose someone like this, you'll be the one who suffers in the end. You should thank me for getting rid of a potential problem for you, understand?"
