The smile on The Deep's face instantly froze, and his gaze flickered slightly.

How could he not have known about Solomon beating up a few ordinary Supes in the club?

He quickly recovered and patted Solomon on the shoulder.

"Hey, you only beat up a few ordinary Supes. What's the big deal? You're Translucent of The Seven! It's their honor to get beaten up by you!"

Solomon slowly nodded and said flatly:

"You're right. It is their honor. But it's your honor, too."

The Deep froze, his face full of confusion. Clearly, he hadn't understood what Solomon meant, and he instinctively asked:

"What did you say?"

The moment the words left his mouth, Solomon's gaze turned cold. He moved, grabbed The Deep by the throat before he could react, and slammed him against the elevator wall, gradually tightening his grip.

"I said you should feel honored, too."

The Deep instantly panicked. He grabbed Solomon's arm with both hands, desperately struggling to push him away. But Solomon's strength was now level 2, far beyond The Deep's. His struggles were like an ant trying to shake a tree, utterly useless against Solomon.

With his throat clamped tight, breathing instantly became difficult, and his oxygen dwindled little by little.

The Deep's face turned bright red, his lips purple. Unable to say a single word, he could only stare wide-eyed, his gaze filled with fear and bewilderment.

He couldn't understand it. He and Solomon had no quarrel, and he had even helped him join The Seven. Why did Solomon suddenly want to kill him?

As the suffocation grew worse, The Deep's vision gradually darkened, and his consciousness began to blur. He slumped limply against the elevator wall, on the verge of no longer breathing.

Only then did Solomon realize something seemed wrong. Why did it look like The Deep was about to die?

He had only wanted to defeat The Deep and take his ability. He hadn't intended to kill him at all.

He quickly let go. As though drained of all strength, The Deep's legs buckled, and he fell to his knees on the elevator floor. Bracing himself with both hands, he gasped for air, his chest heaving violently, even his coughs trembling.

Looking at him, Solomon spoke with a touch of casual apology:

"Sorry, I wasn't paying attention. Grabbed the wrong spot."

As soon as he finished speaking, he stepped forward again and hooked an arm around the back of The Deep's neck.

This time, he didn't squeeze The Deep's windpipe. He simply wanted to choke him unconscious.

In less than half a minute, The Deep's struggles gradually weakened. His eyes closed, and he passed out completely, collapsing limply into Solomon's arms.

Ding! Defeated the Supe The Deep. Acquired ability: Ocean Enhancement.

Solomon gently laid The Deep in the corner of the elevator and patted his shoulder, his tone as casual as ever:

"Sorry, buddy. Got the position wrong just now and nearly choked you to death."

He pressed a floor button, then summoned his superpower panel with a thought.

Name: Solomon Strength: Level 2.05 Energy: Level 2.04 Spirit: Level 1.1 Defense: Level 2.11 Healing: Level 3.003 Hearing: Level 2.52 Vision: Level 1.7 Speed: Level 3.005 Abilities: carbon-fiber super skin, super speed, Bone Spikes, self-duplication, Spark, Levitation, shapeshifting, ant-man transformation, super-speed healing, Rainbow Fart, Hair Growth, Light Eyes, echolocation, Memory Reading, rubberization, laser eyes, Ocean Enhancement Ocean Enhancement: Upon entering the ocean, the body's structure will automatically adapt to the underwater environment. Gills will appear on both sides of the lower abdomen, enabling underwater breathing. Water resistance has no effect on the body, and pressure resistance is greatly enhanced. Enables unrestricted communication with any marine life and grants extremely high affinity with marine life.

Solomon instinctively reached down and felt both sides of his lower abdomen. The skin was smooth, with no gills, and he inwardly breathed a sigh of relief.

Good thing these gills only appeared in the water, unlike The Deep's, which hung around his waist all the time. Ugly as hell.

Reading the ability description on the panel, he couldn't help curling his lip. The Deep's ability didn't seem as powerful as he had imagined!

The internet had previously hyped it up to incredible heights, saying The Deep was invincible in the sea and even giving him the title of Lord of the Seven Seas. He had really thought it would have some utterly overpowered effect.

Something like doubling all his attributes upon entering the sea. That would have lived up to the title of Lord of the Seven Seas.

Yet in the end, it merely let him breathe underwater and ignore water resistance. At most, he could use his full strength in the water.

As for talking to marine life, that wasn't particularly useful either. Those sea creatures were still just ordinary creatures. They might be useful against ordinary people, but against Supes, they wouldn't accomplish much at all.

He had always thought The Deep could directly control marine life. He hadn't expected it to be nothing more than a high affinity with them.

So The Deep could direct marine life because he had good relationships with them, not because he could forcibly control them.

Still, it made sense when he thought about it. With The Deep's personality, if he could control them directly, why would he be calling a bunch of fish his brothers?

Aside from this ability, The Deep's base attributes were fairly decent, at least somewhat stronger than those of ordinary Supes.

Defeating him this time had increased Solomon's strength by 0.02 levels, while all his other attributes had also improved slightly. His vision, in particular, had gone up by a full 0.5 levels.

That made sense, too. The Deep needed to move around in the sea, so strong vision was only natural. It would let him see more clearly in the pitch-black depths.

The elevator doors slowly opened. Solomon glanced at The Deep, still unconscious in the corner, then paid him no further attention. He turned and walked straight out of the elevator, heading toward the club.

Inside the club, the lighting was suggestive, the pulsing music deafening. Alcohol, perfume, and a faint fishy smell mingled in the air, and the atmosphere was lively and chaotic.

The moment Solomon pushed the door open and entered, the club manager immediately approached him with a broad smile, his manner respectful and attentive.

"Mr. Translucent, you're here!"

The manager bowed at the waist, his tone ingratiating.

"This way, please. I've already arranged a private room for you. Please wait inside for a moment, and I'll call them over right away."

Solomon nodded slightly and followed the manager toward the private room upstairs.

He saw quite a few Supes along the way. At the very least, the ones he had beaten up before were all there.

Termite, the Levitation Supe, the Rainbow Fart Supe, the Hair Growth Supe, and the Light Eyes Supe.

Those five had already been beaten up by him, so they weren't worried at all and spent every day at the club.

As for the other Supes, Solomon took a quick look. There weren't many, only four or five.

Of course, some Supes might also have been deliberately hiding their abilities.

After all, when they weren't displaying their abilities, they looked no different from ordinary people. There was no way to tell them apart.

He followed the manager into the private room upstairs. It was elegantly decorated and superbly soundproofed, shutting out the clamor outside.
