After Dick defeated the negative emotions Norushen drew out, he entered the Third Hall, where the Heart of Y'Shaarj awaited him, still troubled by the absence of pride and doubt among the Sha.

  • Dick learned how the Well of Eternity's power had suppressed Y'Shaarj's Heart and how the Great Sundering had weakened Elune, allowing the Sha to rise.
  • Norushen stopped Dick from entering the Central Hall, warning that Y'Shaarj might use him as a vessel, but agreed to examine his mind after hearing that Ra-den had entrusted Dick with the Heart.

  • The mists withdrew from Pandaria, revealing the open sky and leaving its peoples uncertain about the future.
  • Dick returned to Sage’s Serpent, found Mr. Bigglesworth carrying a letter, and went to the Temple of the Jade Serpent.
  • Dick discovered Kel’Thuzad had bound the Sha of Doubt to himself and imprisoned Xal’atath’s Blade of the Black Empire to resist her control.
  • Kel’Thuzad asked Dick for the heart that could help him defeat Xal’atath, but Dick refused to trust him or give it to him yet.
  • Dick offered to reconsider in a year if Kel’Thuzad killed Benedictus, took control of Twilight’s Hammer, and avoided causing trouble during the Northern Expedition.
