Dick uncovered the Cult of the Damned’s plague plot, survived Kel’Thuzad’s betrayal, and joined Jaina and the Silver Hand as the undead threat grew. As Arthas began purging Stratholme, Dick fought to protect its refugees and ended the stretch facing Ramstein with a surge of Holy Power.

• Dick rescued Darrowshire’s children from the Murlocs, then carried Hunter’s warning about the plague to Jaina and Arthas.
• Dick and Jaina confronted Kel’Thuzad, and Dick bargained for Jaina’s life before helping destroy the hidden palace and seal Zakajz inside the ruined valley.
• Dick accepted the quest to change Azeroth’s timeline, awakened the Silver Hand, and helped Uther’s forces defeat the undead at Andorhal.
• Dick joined Uther and Alexandros’s relief force, fought through Zul’Mashar, and helped expose Mal’Ganis before Arthas led the march to Stratholme.

Dick secured Stratholme and rallied allies after Arthas claimed Frostmourne, killed King Terenas, and unleashed the undead on Lordaeron. After Uther fell near death, Dick drew Arthas away and reached Quel'Thalas, where he prepared to fight despite Sylvanas Windrunner rejecting his warnings.

• Dick exposed the demonic plot to the Silver Hand and accepted command of Stratholme before Arthas sailed to Northrend.
• Arthas claimed Frostmourne, killed Mal'Ganis and King Terenas, and unleashed his undead army on Lordaeron.
• Dick killed Rivendare, reclaimed Stratholme, and secured military support from neighboring powers at Light's Hope Chapel.
• Dick and Herod killed Alex Barov during the civilian evacuation as Arthas broke through the defenders' lines.
• Arthas mortally wounded Uther, and Dick had Uther frozen after he refused to preserve his soul by becoming a death knight.
• Dick drew Arthas away with Kel'Thuzad's urn while Alexandros decided to take Uther south and transformed his dark gem into the Ashbringer with the other knights.

Dick and the high elves fought Arthas and Dar'Khan as demons threatened the Sunwell, forcing Anasterian to sacrifice himself to save the realm. Kael'thas became Sun King, while Dick's transformation left him sealed away as the survivors began rebuilding Quel'Thalas.

• Sylvanas led a rescue force toward Tranquillien, but Arthas's ambush destroyed the outpost and Dick helped her escape after confronting Arthas.
• Dick's group fought Lor'themar at Goldenmist Village, where he shot Liadrin before Sylvanas carried her aboard a Magic Ship and escaped.
• Dick warned Anasterian that Dar'Khan had betrayed Quel'Thalas, but Dar'Khan escaped and opened spatial rifts across Silvermoon City that let demons invade.
• Dick persuaded Kael'thas to seek Arcan'dor as a cure for the high elves' mana addiction while the elves prepared to destroy the Sunwell to stop the demons.
• Arthas used the demon assault as a diversion to reach the Sunwell, where Lor'themar cast Kel'Thuzad's ashes into its waters and Dick fell into the corruption.
• Anveena empowered Dick and helped him drive Arthas back, while Anasterian stayed behind to activate the Greater Disintegration Array and destroy the Sunwell.
• The Sunwell's power drove the Great Demon back but devastated Quel'Danas, and Kael'thas became Sun King and named the surviving high elves the Sin'dorei.
• Kael'thas began rebuilding Quel'Thalas as Dick collapsed from his transformation, while Kel'Thuzad and Arthas planned to seize Dalaran and Dick's regiment continued training recruits.

Dick helped defend Dalaran, but Arthas and Kel'Thuzad drowned the city and summoned Archimonde, forcing the survivors to turn toward the Burning Legion. He then sought an alliance with Thrall and the orcs, and the arc ended with Dick and the Stratholme Regiment aiding the besieged Warsong Clan against demons.

• Alexandros Mograine warned Dick that Uther had been corrupted by Apocalypse, while Darion’s Blade of Wrath reacted to the Ashbringer.
• Dick warned Antonidas that the Scourge might attack Dalaran, but Arthas and Kel'Thuzad soon appeared in Tirisfal and breached the Gilneas Brigade’s line.
• Dick brought paladins to help Gath'riss and the Fourth Legion, then confronted Uther, who killed Detheroc and transformed Apocalypse into Death's Verdict.
