Arc 46The Demon Domain’s New Lord

  • Eight-Tailed Fox tried to stop Old White Ape from returning to the Demon Domain, but Yu Mo negotiated a one-week truce and access to the Yellow Springs Graveyard instead.
  • The Demon Domain forces destroyed Barbarian City, while Fat Old Man secured the escape of Yu Sheng and the others and offered them a share of the profits.

Chapters 1126–1150 Vol. 12 Read

Ch. 1126Blockade Front

Old White Ape reflected on his dealings with Yu Mo and fell asleep on a comfortable sofa, while Eight-Tailed Fox learned that Old White Ape had crippled his strength and gone to the Human Race. Alarmed by Seven-Tailed Fox’s betrayal and its approaching breakthrough, Eight-Tailed Fox ordered a blockade against Old White Ape and offered the Human Race double his terms to kill him.

  • Old White Ape discussed Yu Mo’s confidence and interest in a Demon God, then settled on the sofa and fell asleep.
  • Eight-Tailed Fox killed the lesser demon that reported Old White Ape’s actions and realized Seven-Tailed Fox had betrayed it, leaving a blind spot in its intelligence.
  • Eight-Tailed Fox weighed delaying its imminent breakthrough to deal with Old White Ape, then ordered troops sent to establish a battlefront and block his return to the Demon Domain.
  • Eight-Tailed Fox ordered the game in Barbarian City ended and Old White Ape’s plans canceled.
  • Eight-Tailed Fox sent an offer to the Human Race, promising six months without war and double Old White Ape’s terms if they killed him.

Ch. 1127Aren't you afraid?

The Eight-Tailed Fox continued pursuing the Demon God Realm while preparing to guard against the Old White Ape. At breakfast in human territory, Yu Mo warned the Old White Ape that the Demon Clan’s offer might tempt him to betray it, but the Old White Ape deduced that the Fox had likely offered a truce and would double whatever terms he demanded.

  • The Eight-Tailed Fox chose to continue its attempt to reach the Demon God Realm and devised plans to hold the Old White Ape back.
  • Yu Mo told the Old White Ape that demon beasts were gathering near Demon-Suppressing Pass and the Demon Clan had threatened war unless the humans killed him.
  • The Old White Ape ignored the Confucian Scholar guarding him and ate steamed buns while joking about how human TV dramas had distorted his sense of spending.
  • Yu Mo asked whether the Old White Ape feared the Confucian Scholar, and the Old White Ape said he did not expect him to kill him.
  • Yu Mo warned that the Eight-Tailed Fox’s offer was so tempting he nearly wanted to send it his own body.
  • The Old White Ape reasoned that the Eight-Tailed Fox had probably offered a six-month truce and would double any terms he demanded because it feared his unknown plans.

Ch. 1128Holy shit, you're really killing him?

Yu Mo bargained with Old White Ape for access to the Thousand-Li Demon Plain, and their negotiations turned into a staged threat when Yu Mo ordered the Confucian Scholar to kill him. The Confucian Scholar struck at Old White Ape’s head, leaving his fate uncertain.

  • Yu Mo admitted he wanted to use the negotiations to gain something from Old White Ape, while the Confucian Scholar quietly withdrew.
  • Yu Mo demanded permanent usage rights to the Thousand-Li Demon Plain, and Old White Ape refused to cede land, offering only a brief withdrawal of his forces.
  • Yu Mo and Old White Ape haggled over how long humans could use the plain, with the offer eventually reaching a month.
  • Yu Mo ordered the Confucian Scholar to kill Old White Ape, and the Confucian Scholar dragged him toward the hotel exit as Old White Ape shouted defiance.
  • After Yu Mo called for Old White Ape to be killed, the Confucian Scholar raised his hand and struck toward his head.

Ch. 1129So well maintained

Yu Mo forced Old White Ape to agree to a one-week arrangement in exchange for the Yellow Springs graveyard, then left him to enjoy Human Race life. In Barbarian City, Sun Wen prepared to host a straightforward auction, disappointing Zhao Zicheng.

  • The Confucian Scholar nearly killed Old White Ape before leaving for a symposium, and Old White Ape reflected on how sudden death might be.
  • Yu Mo pressured Old White Ape to agree to one week, then demanded the unexplored Yellow Springs graveyard instead of the Thousand-Li Demon Plain.
  • Old White Ape accepted the deal with Yu Mo, and they clasped hands while commenting on how well maintained they were.
  • Old White Ape spent several days exploring Human Race culture, collecting dramas on a laptop, and enduring attacks from wary citizens.
  • In Barbarian City, Sun Wen prepared to auction items with a hammer, while Zhao Zicheng complained that the plan was merely a normal auction.

Ch. 1130Money could be turned into fighting strength, too

Sun Wen, Zhao Zicheng, and the others celebrated their expected profits from the Barbarian City auction, but their card game was interrupted by a Demon Domain order canceling the auction and invalidating the Skyvault Ravine Invitation Letters. Fat Old Man defied the order, saying money could be turned into fighting strength.

  • Sun Wen argued that the group should follow the usual steps and profit from the auction, while Zhao Zicheng teased him for contributing little to their success.
  • Sun Wen tried to rally the group, but everyone ignored him to keep playing cards, and Yu Sheng offered only vague agreement.
  • The Demon Beasts sensed danger, and A Tai reported that many footsteps were approaching the city.
  • A voice acting under the Demon Domain Lord ordered all Demon Clan members to leave Barbarian City, canceled the auction, and declared the Skyvault Ravine Invitation Letters void.
  • Fat Old Man challenged the Demon Lords and said that money could sometimes be turned into fighting strength.

Ch. 1131A high-level game

The Demon Lord launched an assault on Barbarian City while Fat Old Man insisted the Black Market—not the Human Race—was acting independently and then withdrew. Yu Sheng and the others escaped the city as it fell into chaos, leaving the Demon Lords to finish clearing it in accordance with the Eight-Tailed Fox's orders.

  • Fat Old Man told the Demon Lord that the Black Market claimed Barbarian City and demanded payment from anyone entering it.
  • The furious Demon Lord ordered his forces to attack Barbarian City while others held Fat Old Man back, and the attackers quickly broke through the gate.
  • Zhao Zicheng dismissed Sun Wen's attempts to understand the high-level schemes and led the group out of the city after Elder Xin had already left.
  • A Tai, Lin Xiaoxiao, Mu Yu, Zhao Zicheng, Sun Wen, Yu Sheng, and Shi Guang made their way through the panicked Demon Beasts and escaped Barbarian City.
  • After seeing the group emerge, Fat Old Man withdrew from the fight and stressed that his actions belonged to the Black Market, not the Human Race.
  • The two Demon Lords let Fat Old Man go and watched as Barbarian City was devastated, leaving a few fleeing survivors while the Eight-Tailed Fox's order to empty the city was fulfilled.

Ch. 1132Pacify the World with a Word

Fat Old Man questioned Sun Wen and Yu Sheng about their roles in the events in Barbarian City, offering Sun Wen advice about his potential as a Wisdom Department genius. Yu Sheng explained that he had already achieved his goals by staying out of the spotlight and securing his rewards, leaving Fat Old Man impressed.

  • Fat Old Man asked Sun Wen how it felt to witness a contest between the strongest, and Sun Wen reflected on how the broader tide of events had made his efforts seem powerless.
  • Sun Wen said he had glimpsed how the powerful shaped events and believed that with experience he could eventually face them as an equal.
  • Fat Old Man warned Sun Wen that his rivals would also grow stronger and might not have shown their full abilities, then praised Sun Wen's Awakening Object and urged him to pursue the Wisdom Department path.
  • Sun Wen thanked Fat Old Man, bowed, and sat apart to think.
  • Fat Old Man asked Yu Sheng what he thought of having played little part in Barbarian City's events, and Yu Sheng said he had already secured his share of the rewards without taking unnecessary risks.
  • Shi Guang agreed with Yu Sheng, and Fat Old Man admitted that his advice had no effect and called Yu Sheng impressive.

Ch. 1133Striving to Become an Important Pawn

After Fat Old Man offered Yu Sheng a share of the Barbarian City profits, he told the group to wake him when the fighting ended and went to sleep. The others resolved to grow stronger after realizing they had been treated as pawns, while Yu Sheng insisted on sharing the profits equally.

  • Fat Old Man advised the group that they would eventually have to shoulder responsibility for the Human Race and face the Demon Domain, but Zhao Zicheng teased him about sounding like an informant.
  • Fat Old Man offered Yu Sheng five percent of the Barbarian City profits and all the auction items, calling the share an investment by the Black Market in Yu Sheng's strength.
  • Fat Old Man wondered when Old White Ape expected him to give something to Seven-Tailed Fox, then went to sleep and told the group to wake him after the fighting ended.
  • Zhao Zicheng vowed to cultivate until he became an important pawn, while Mu Yu, Lin Xiaoxiao, and A Tai showed renewed seriousness about growing stronger.
  • Yu Sheng said the group would split the Barbarian City profits equally, and none of them objected.

Ch. 1134The mountains are high, the road is long; see you at the summit

Old White Ape prepared to return to the Demon Domain while Yu Mo struggled with whether to kill him, but Old White Ape challenged him to trust the Human Race and meet him at his peak. Yu Mo let him go, believing he could keep Old White Ape in check and that his return would buy the Human Race three years.

  • Old White Ape bid farewell to Yu Mo and left, while Yu Mo considered having Confucian Scholar kill him before he crossed out of human territory.
  • Old White Ape stopped and urged Yu Mo not to shoulder the Human Race alone, challenging him to kill him if he would not let him return.
  • Yu Mo abandoned the idea of killing Old White Ape and promised to erect his gravestone on the same street when they met again.
  • Old White Ape laughed and declared he would await Yu Mo and Ji Hong in the future, then departed for the Demon Domain.
  • Confucian Scholar asked whether Yu Mo had spared Old White Ape for the sake of a future contest, and Yu Mo explained that he believed he could keep him in check and buy the Human Race three years.
  • Confucian Scholar questioned Yu Mo because Old White Ape had said the Demon Domain would remain in chaos for five years.

Ch. 1135Above the Demon Gods

Seven-Tail accused the Nine-Tailed Fox Clan’s leader of hiding a cultivation technique that could let demons surpass the Demon Gods, asking the Demon Gods to judge the matter and protect him. The Demon Gods challenged both the accusation and Seven-Tail’s account, leaving him under pressure to reveal the full truth.

  • The Fat Old Man gave Seven-Tailed Fox a letter, which Seven-Tail read and then destroyed before making a decision.
  • Seven-Tail knelt and called upon the Demon Gods to judge a shameful matter within his clan, while the Nine-Tailed Fox tried to silence him.
  • Seven-Tail claimed that the Demon Domain Lord, his elder brother, obtained a Divine Ruins technique that could break through the Demon God Realm, and that his nephew had told him about it before disappearing.
  • Seven-Tail said the technique could greatly strengthen demons’ mental power and give them hope of surpassing the Demon Gods.
  • A Demon God accused Seven-Tail of withholding the whole truth and warned him that he would die if he continued to deceive them.

Ch. 1136No Defense Could Clear Its Name

Seven-Tailed Fox exposed Old White Ape’s accusations against Eight-Tailed Fox and Nine-Tailed Fox to the Demon Gods, who debated how to punish Nine-Tailed Fox. Old White Ape waited at Demon-Suppressing Pass, expecting the Demon Gods’ greed and divisions to turn against Nine-Tailed Fox.

  • Seven-Tailed Fox blamed Old White Ape for the revelations and said Eight-Tailed Fox’s son was waiting near Barbarian City as a witness.
  • The Demon Gods challenged Nine-Tailed Fox about its rising mastery of illusions and its denial of knowledge about the ancient cultivation technique.
  • Seven-Tailed Fox revealed Old White Ape’s claims that Eight-Tailed Fox and Nine-Tailed Fox had secretly planned a joint rise to power and that Nine-Tailed Fox knew which version of the technique was flawless.
  • Old White Ape reached Demon-Suppressing Pass and waited, reasoning that the Demon Gods’ greed and divided interests would lead them to act against Nine-Tailed Fox.
  • One Demon God called for Nine-Tailed Fox’s death, while others proposed that it hand over the cultivation technique and enter seclusion for thirty years.

Ch. 1137You ask too many questions

The Nine-Tailed Fox realized the Demon Gods had conspired to sacrifice him in a reshuffling of power and confronted them in the void. When Qiongqi refused to answer his final questions, the Nine-Tailed Fox released his demon aura, and Fat Old Man fled with Sun Wen and Zhao Zicheng.

  • The Nine-Tailed Fox denied possessing the cultivation techniques as the other Demon Gods accused him of hiding them and demanded that he cripple his mental power and enter seclusion.
  • The Nine-Tailed Fox pieced together the accusations and concluded that the Demon Gods had arranged to sacrifice him so his clan could make room for a newcomer.
  • Qiongqi confirmed that the techniques were real, but remained silent when the Nine-Tailed Fox asked whether he could survive by giving up cultivation.
  • Qiongqi said the Nine-Tailed Fox asked too many questions and suggested that a suicidal assault on the human race would better serve the Demon Domain.
  • The Nine-Tailed Fox unleashed his demon aura, and Fat Old Man grabbed Sun Wen and Zhao Zicheng and ran to escape the fighting.

Ch. 1138The curtain fell

Old White Ape and Ji Hong’s scheme ended with Nine-Tailed Fox dead and Ji Hong poised to become a Demon God, while Old White Ape secured control of the Demon Domain. The Nine-Tailed Fox Clan lost everything, and Old White Ape departed Demon-Suppressing Pass as the Demon Domain’s new ruler.

  • Old White Ape drove away from Demon-Suppressing Pass after Nine-Tailed Fox fell to the Demon Gods.
  • Old White Ape congratulated the Demon Gods and announced that they could now pursue the path to heaven.
  • Seven-Tailed Fox questioned Old White Ape about Nine-Tailed Fox’s claim, and Seven-Tailed Fox exploded without warning.
  • Old White Ape explained that Ji Hong would fill the vacancy left by Nine-Tailed Fox and that an additional Demon God would burden the Demon Domain.
  • The chapter revealed that Ji Hong and Old White Ape had coordinated the plan to kill Nine-Tailed Fox, remove Eight-Tailed Fox, and divide the Nine-Tailed Fox Clan’s resources.

Ch. 1139No Shame in This Defeat

Old White Ape became the Demon Domain Lord through the Demon Gods’ decision and returned to Skyvault Ravine to demand Eight-Tailed Fox’s abdication. Eight-Tailed Fox recognized that Ji Hong’s apparent falling-out with Old White Ape had concealed the plan and accepted that his defeat was complete.

  • A Demon God named Old White Ape the Demon Domain Lord, and Old White Ape met Fat Old Man outside Barbarian City to establish the Black Market.
  • Old White Ape drove toward Skyvault Ravine, where his car broke down, and sent a Demon Beast to carry it onward.
  • The Demon King guarding Skyvault Ravine welcomed Old White Ape as the Demon Domain Lord and let him enter.
  • Old White Ape called on Eight-Tailed Fox to abdicate, saying he was more obedient to their masters and could bring them profits.
  • Eight-Tailed Fox inferred that the Demon Gods had killed the Nine-Tailed Fox Old Ancestor and that Ji Hong’s role had exposed the scheme, then lamented his defeat.

Ch. 1140Paying Respects to the Demon Domain Lord

The defeated Eight-Tailed Fox departed for Divine Mountain to face the Demon Gods, believing it had only a ten-percent chance of survival. Old White Ape was recognized as the new Demon Domain Lord by the beasts and several clans in Skyvault Ravine, leaving him secure in power but aware of the threats that remained.

  • The Eight-Tailed Fox paid respects to the Demon Gods, who summoned it to Divine Mountain, and told Old White Ape it might not survive the journey.
  • The Eight-Tailed Fox said the Demon Gods opposed its efforts because reforming the Demon Domain would weaken their power, and blamed Old White Ape for giving them a reason to act against it.
  • The Eight-Tailed Fox left Skyvault Ravine, and Old White Ape put on a windbreaker and watched over the domain from the royal hall.
  • Patrolling demon beasts and several clans paid respects to Old White Ape as Demon Domain Lord, with five God Clan leaders publicly declaring their support.
  • Old White Ape reflected that few remained who could threaten his life.

Ch. 1141A new system for mutual benefit

Old White Ape announced changes to Skyvault Ravine’s policies, replacing the Merit System with a plan that let tribes invest in promising Demon Beasts in exchange for repayments and future service. The six remaining God Race chiefs backed him, securing his position as Demon Domain Lord, and he asked the tribes to prepare introductions to their resources and training strengths.

  • Old White Ape said he would keep the overall rules but promised Demon Beasts better treatment and rewards for cultivating hard.
  • Old White Ape announced nightly screenings of Human Race movies and TV episodes to teach Demon Beasts about Human Race culture.
  • Old White Ape scrapped the Merit System and introduced the outstanding heavenly pride support plan, under which tribes would select and fund promising applicants in return for contracted repayments and other compensation.
  • The six remaining God Race chiefs hailed Old White Ape as Demon Domain Lord after hearing the plan, whose potential profits won their support.
  • Old White Ape asked the tribes to summarize their specialties, resources, and training directions for distribution throughout the Demon Domain, then retired to the King's Hall.

Ch. 1142The road to the summit

Old White Ape revealed his plan to use competition among the God Race tribes to make them dependent on him and build a powerful army under his control. Meanwhile, Fat Old Man renamed Barbarian City the Black Market and planned to expand it.

  • The God Race chiefs agreed to prepare résumés for their Demon Plants and use investments to attract borrowers while presenting their plans as service to the Demon Domain.
  • After the chiefs dispersed, Old White Ape reflected that competition would force weaker tribes to seek his protection and make the strongest tribes dependent on him over three years.
  • Old White Ape sat on the throne and imagined the future army and Heavenly Prides that would let him challenge his opponents, though he missed the companionship of Peach Blossom Pool.
  • After a week of clearing corpses from Barbarian City, Yu Sheng and the others gained a fortune from the High-Rank Demon Beast remains.
  • Fat Old Man proudly displayed the new Black Market plaque and announced plans to hire a designer and expand Barbarian City.

Ch. 1143That Really Is a Shame

Fat Old Man arranged for Xiao Nan to join the Black Market and take charge of Barbarian City after the auction, while preparing to return to the Human Race. Zhao Zicheng and Sun Wen argued about their return and their rivalry, and Yu Sheng stayed behind because his space was not full.

  • Fat Old Man asked Yu Sheng to leave him the Skyvault Ravine Invitation Letter for the Black Market's first auction and discussed adding Human Race items.
  • Fat Old Man approved Xiao Nan joining the Black Market, warned him to remain neutral, and entrusted him with Barbarian City after the auction.
  • Xiao Nan told Fat Old Man he had nothing to be ashamed of before Sin City, and Fat Old Man accepted his answer.
  • Zhao Zicheng worried about losing his City Lord position, but Sun Wen said Yu Mo had allowed their trip and they would likely only face a reprimand and a pay cut.
  • Zhao Zicheng beat up Sun Wen after Sun Wen mocked him, and Sun Wen later promised to make Zhao Zicheng pay taxes in six months.
  • Sun Wen asked whether Yu Sheng would return to the Human Race, and Yu Sheng said he would stay because his space was not full.

Ch. 1144Return at once, Yellow Springs Graveyard, robbery

Yu Sheng and Shi Guang returned from a six-month expedition in the Demon Domain after Yu Mo summoned them to rob the Yellow Springs Graveyard. They arrived at Ink City, where Yu Mo waited to explain his theatrically aged appearance.

  • Xiao Xiao, Sun Wen, and A Tai focused more intensely on cultivation, while Mu Yu disappeared and Yu Sheng and Shi Guang continued exploring the Demon Domain.
  • Yu Mo sent Yu Sheng and Shi Guang a message ordering them to return at once and go to the Yellow Springs Graveyard to rob it.
  • Yu Sheng and Shi Guang headed back after finding little in the Thousand-Li Demon Plain, despite gaining strength and becoming famous among demon hunters.
  • Yu Sheng and Shi Guang returned to Demon-Suppressing Pass, sold some supplies, rested, and then traveled to Ink City.
  • Yu Mo welcomed them outside Ink City's gates and claimed he had dyed his hair white and added wrinkles to shock Yu Sheng.

Ch. 1145Salt-and-pepper hair was expensive

Yu Mo tried to fool Yu Sheng with an elaborate display of illness, while Chu Huai pointed out how unconvincing the act would be to Sin City Natives. Yu Mo ended by declaring that he needed to live two more years to protect his little brother.

  • Yu Mo checked his dyed salt-and-pepper hair and complained that it had taken effort and money to make it look natural.
  • Chu Huai warned Yu Mo that Sin City Natives did not trust anyone who looked miserable unless they were dead.
  • Yu Mo asked Chu Huai to push his wheelchair and create a breeze so he would look frail when Yu Sheng arrived.
  • Yu Sheng met Yu Mo’s dramatic coughing and apparent blood with calm indifference, then offered him ordinary tap water.
  • Yu Mo claimed he was dying and said he would ask heaven for two more years of life to protect Yu Sheng.

Ch. 1146A last rally?

Yu Mo explained the Yellow Springs Graveyard, its dangerous ghost energy, and how Yu Sheng’s cultivation technique helped the soldiers guarding Ghost Gate. He proposed publicizing Yu Sheng’s achievements when he reached the eighth awakening so he could become Ink Pavilion Head, but Yu Sheng questioned the motive.

  • Yu Mo abandoned his attempt to win sympathy and began explaining the Yellow Springs Graveyard to Yu Sheng and Shi Guang.
  • Yu Mo described how ghost energy harmed humans, mutated demon beasts, and attracted ambitious beasts to the graveyard.
  • Yu Mo said Yu Sheng’s cultivation technique helped Ghost Gate’s soldiers withstand ghost energy and suggested publicizing the achievement to secure Yu Sheng the Ink Pavilion Head position.
  • Yu Sheng said the soldiers did not owe him a debt and criticized using his achievements for the position as a method resembling Sin City’s.
  • Yu Mo agreed that Yu Sheng had a point but said publicizing the achievements was still the fastest and most convenient approach.

Ch. 1147Yu Mo's two questions

Yu Mo explained the human race’s one-week opportunity to enter the Yellow Springs Graveyard and questioned Yu Sheng about his strength. He planned to use the expedition’s resources and the Ink Pavilion’s support to push Yu Sheng toward the eighth awakening as quickly as possible.

  • Yu Sheng refused to become Pavilion Master, and Yu Mo offered the Light Group leadership to Shi Guang, prompting Chu Huai to protest that he had been promised a high-ranking position.
  • Yu Mo explained that ghost energy nourished valuable demon plants in the Yellow Springs Graveyard and that he had arranged for the demon beasts to withdraw for one week, though their compliance was uncertain.
  • Yu Mo asked how close Yu Sheng was to the seventh awakening, and Yu Sheng said he had already comprehended the rules but lacked energy.
  • Yu Sheng admitted he would struggle against a demon king but could likely escape and might kill one if he fought desperately and its ability did not counter his.
  • Yu Mo promised Yu Sheng priority access to supplies, guidance from eighth-awakening seniors, and a Demon God Demon Crystal to accelerate his progress toward the eighth awakening.

Ch. 1148Sin City's Rules

Yu Sheng accepted Yu Mo’s offer to fund his advancement to the Eighth Awakening in exchange for serving as Ink Pavilion Head and leading in future wars. As Yu Sheng prepared for the Yellow Springs Graveyard, Yu Mo recognized that Old White Ape’s Rising Star Support Plan could unite the Demon Domain and threaten humanity.

  • Yu Mo offered to provide Yu Sheng with the resources to reach the Eighth Awakening in exchange for at least five years as Ink Pavilion Head and leadership in wartime.
  • Yu Sheng agreed to Yu Mo’s terms, and Yu Mo briefed him on prioritizing demon plants in the Yellow Springs Graveyard and helping humans when it was safe.
  • Yu Mo handed Yu Sheng a file on the Yellow Springs Graveyard and told him to meet outside Light Group Headquarters the next evening before traveling to Ghost Gate.
  • Yu Mo reviewed the Rising Star Support Plan and realized Old White Ape’s plan could unify the Demon Domain, creating a serious danger for humanity.

Ch. 1149The first piece on the board

Yu Mo considered how to exploit the economic conflict Old White Ape had set in motion, then led Reserve Corps soldiers toward the Yellow Springs Graveyard to collect Demon Plants. The force reached the Ghost Gate, where its pale-faced soldiers served them cold meals.

  • Yu Mo reasoned that Demon Beasts refusing to repay their debts could destabilize the Demon Domain, and suspected Old White Ape's move was an invitation to join the game.
  • Yu Mo left the Light Group alone that night and returned weary after an unexplained outing.
  • Yu Mo ordered Reserve Corps soldiers, including Yu Sheng and Shi Guang, to travel to the Yellow Springs Graveyard and bring back as many Demon Plants as possible.
  • The soldiers rode trucks through the night and arrived outside the Ghost Gate at noon.
  • Pale-faced Ghost Gate soldiers served the arriving Reserve Corps soldiers cold boxed lunches.

Ch. 1150Reverse logic

Yu Sheng and Shi Guang left Ghost Gate with the Reserve Corps and entered Yellow Springs Graveyard to gather Demon Plants. After realizing Old White Ape intended to use the humans to cull disobedient Demon Beasts, they decided to kill as many as possible and began searching for their first target.

  • The soldiers passed through Ghost Gate, and Reserve Corps leaders ordered them to scatter, collect or destroy Demon Plants, and regroup in one week.
  • Yu Sheng and Shi Guang concealed themselves in the Ghost Energy and assessed the ruins of Yellow Springs Graveyard.
  • Shi Guang reasoned that Old White Ape planned to sacrifice human elites while using them to purge Demon Beasts that would not obey Skyvault Ravine.
  • Yu Sheng proposed killing more Demon Beasts than Old White Ape expected, and Shi Guang agreed.
  • Yu Sheng summoned the Giant Hammer beside a Demon Plant, expecting a Demon Beast to be nearby.
