Old White Ape used Barbarian City, Seven-Tailed Fox, and the Black Market to set a larger plan in motion, then entered Human territory and met Yu Mo. Their conversation ended with Yu Mo weighing the value of killing a Demon God against the cost of Old White Ape’s life.

• At Barbarian City, Sun Wen confronted Old White Ape, but Mr. Hei intervened and taught Sun Wen that Old White Ape’s restraint had kept the group alive.
• Mr. Hei struck an investment deal with Sun Wen, while Old White Ape offered the Black Market Barbarian City for ten years and revealed his plan to use the city as a vessel for upheaval in the Demon Domain.
• Old White Ape manipulated Seven-Tailed Fox’s distrust of Eight-Tailed Fox, then faced three Demon Lords who came to retrieve it and fought alongside Mr. Hei to kill one of them.
• After crippling his cultivation and falling to the Demon King realm, Old White Ape left Seven-Tailed Fox with Mr. Hei’s protection and traveled to Demon-Suppressing Pass to meet Yu Mo.

Yu Mo and Yu Sheng made a bargain over the Yellow Springs Graveyard while Old White Ape rose to power in the Demon Domain and launched a plan that could threaten humanity. The arc ended with Yu Sheng and Shi Guang entering the graveyard, determined to disrupt Old White Ape’s plans.

• Eight-Tailed Fox tried to stop Old White Ape from returning to the Demon Domain, but Yu Mo negotiated a one-week truce and access to the Yellow Springs Graveyard instead.
• The Demon Domain forces destroyed Barbarian City, while Fat Old Man secured the escape of Yu Sheng and the others and offered them a share of the profits.
• Old White Ape returned to the Demon Domain as its new lord after Ji Hong and Seven-Tailed Fox helped bring down Nine-Tailed Fox and undermine Eight-Tailed Fox.
• Old White Ape introduced a support plan for promising Demon Beasts, winning the God Race chiefs’ backing and beginning to build a stronger, more unified domain.

Yu Sheng hunted through Yellow Springs Graveyard, using his strength and deception to weaken the Demon Beasts while the Reserve Corps gathered supplies and helped draw out the Demon Kings. After the soldiers returned to Ghost Gate, Yu Sheng put off pursuing the Seventh Awakening and invited Shi Guang to celebrate the Spring Festival with him.

• Yu Sheng and Shi Guang hunted Demon Beasts and gathered Demon Plants, and Yu Sheng killed a mutated Demon King that revealed Vulture’s location and the fate of the failed mutations.
• Old White Ape visited Ji Hong, shared Monkey Wine with him, and declared that he would become the Demon Domain’s king, while Ji Hong resolved that he still had to kill Old White Ape.
• Yu Sheng evaded stronger Demon Kings as he hunted, and the Reserve Corps followed him through Yellow Springs Graveyard to gather supplies and support his attacks.
• Wang Cheng organized the Reserve Corps to distract the Demon Beasts and Demon Kings, sending decoys out while Yu Sheng wore a soldier’s uniform and attacked the horde.

• Yu Sheng and Shi Guang bought and furnished a home in Cangshui City, celebrated Spring Festival together, and then parted so Yu Sheng could return to the Ink Pavilion while Shi Guang pursued the Seventh Awakening.
• The Demon Domain sent New Year’s gifts and peace messages to the four passes, while Yu Mo broadcast human-culture slogans across the Demon Domain and the Ink Pavilion released footage of soldiers dying in battle.
• Old White Ape plotted to weaken the Reserve Corps with rumors about sleeper agents and planned to exploit suspicion around its new recruits, while Yuan Qingshan announced the formation of Army-Breaker.
