• Yu Sheng left Jiangbei City after telling Yu Mo he was not angry about the plans made for him, and he resolved to live alongside Shi Guang rather than sacrifice himself for the Human Race.
• Yu Sheng returned to Sin City and recruited a burly man by promising him unlimited food, then walked through the city gate with him as residents watched.
• Yu Sheng revisited places from his past with Shi Guang and photographed them, while Old Man challenged Sin City's residents to test whether they dared to leave.
• Yu Mo tried to keep Yu Sheng away from the Human Race by asking Yu Sanshui to delay him in the Demon Domain, but Yu Sanshui told Guiqin that the Human Race came before their home and left.
• At Deep Mountain, Yu Sheng learned the burly man had reached the true Ninth Awakening and used the Seventh Crystal Stone to hide him from Xin Yongfeng.
• Old White Ape ordered a Demon Lord to tell Yu Sheng that he had killed Shi Guang, then entered the Sky Dog Demon God's forbidden ground and subdued its guardian snake.

Yu Sheng searched the Aurora Snowfield and found Shi Guang alive, then joined forces with Mu Yu and Brawny Man against the Nine-Tailed Fox. Brawny Man revealed the Feather Race’s history and passed its legacy to Shi Guang, who remained enveloped in light as the others watched.

• Old White Ape freed the Eight-Tailed Fox and warned it that a Ninth Awakening human had entered the Demon Domain, while Yu Sheng and Brawny Man began hunting Demon Lords for food.
• Yu Sheng learned that Shi Guang was believed dead in the Aurora Snowfield and searched for her with Brawny Man, but found only blood-red ice before a green aurora opened a passage from Aurora Space.
• Mu Yu and Shi Guang escaped Aurora Space, and Mu Yu reached the Eighth Awakening while Shi Guang began her Seventh Awakening with Demon Cores Yu Sheng provided.
• The Nine-Tailed Fox approached Yu Sheng with a proposal to cooperate against Old White Ape, but Yu Sheng refused, and the fox attacked him and his companions.
• Brawny Man used Mu Yu’s Gravestone and Mental Power to overpower the Nine-Tailed Fox and drive it away, then revealed that he belonged to the Feather Race.
• Brawny Man explained that the Feather Race had perished after the Spiritual Energy Catastrophe and identified Yu Sheng as its chosen inheritor, while the Gravestone’s power flowed into Shi Guang.
• Brawny Man used the Feather Race’s blood, thoughts, and will to strengthen Shi Guang, then lost his lucidity as she remained inside a beam of light.

Yu Sheng and his companions returned from the Black Market as Shi Guang left to pursue the Feather Race’s inheritance. Meanwhile, Yu Mo and others maneuvered to prepare the Human Race and the Black Market for the battle expected in a year and a half, while the Nine-Tailed Fox remained missing.

• Yu Sheng discovered Shi Guang’s enhanced strength, promised to find her an Eighth Awakening Demon Core, and left the Black Market with his companions after Xiao Nan provided one.
• The Nine-Tailed Fox told Old White Ape it had failed to kill Yu Sheng, then disguised itself as a level-six Demon Beast and disappeared into the forest.
