• Ji Hong predicted that Eagle Ravine Mountain would attack Demon-Suppressing Pass after the agreement ended, and he persuaded Fei to make Ten Thousand Demon Forest serve as cannon fodder.

• Old White Ape forced rival demon clans into the vanguard, sacrificing the Golden Leopard Clan in an attack on Demon-Suppressing Pass that ended with the leopards detonating themselves.
• Su Mo led the Ink Academy freshmen through their first battle, then sent them away with Chu Yu’s farewell as they promised to return stronger.
• Yu Sheng used Dragon Python’s scale to gain a Myriad Phenomena Fruit, gather gray aura, and persuade the Azure Wolf King to help him obtain an Ice Lotus.

As the demon forces overwhelmed the walls, Chu Yu activated the pass’s formations and summoned the souls of its fallen defenders, leaving the battle poised for the human Sages to appear.
