• Chu Yu summoned the heroic souls beneath Demon-Suppressing Pass, and the Old Woman invoked Li Mocheng to drive away two Demon Gods.
• Zhong Yushu forced Skywind Mountain’s forces to retreat, and Sun Yingxiong killed Dragon Python and displayed its corpse beside the gate plaque.
• Sun Yingxiong revealed that Chu Yu’s Wordless Book consumed her lifespan and that the array preserved her blood and vital essence.
• Chu Yu resumed painting the battle, while Yu Sheng sold his spoils to Sun Wen and set out for the Demon Domain again.

Yu Sheng used Old White Ape’s scheme to lure the Mirage Dragon into exposing itself, then defeated it inside its own illusion. He left disguised as a Yellow Monkey with the Mirage Dragon’s corpse, while the Vulture King believed the Swamp Pool had swallowed White Ape and its treasures.

• Old White Ape and Ji Hong arranged to use Yu Sheng, the Ice Lotus, and Vulture King to draw out the Mirage Dragon, while Yu Sheng left to prepare the trap.
• Yu Sheng took a White Ape disguise to the lake, planted White Ape aura on a wild horse, and made Vulture King believe he was nearby with the Ice Lotus and Earthfire Lure.
• Yu Sheng pretended to flee from Vulture King and another sixth-level Demon Beast, then hid underground as they searched and destroyed the forest.
• Vulture King and its ally chased a false White Ape aura toward Swamp Pool, while Mirage Dragon searched the Southwestern Region for the real one.
• Yu Sheng disguised himself as a wounded White Ape and killed a mole in his tunnel, revealing enough of his human aura to draw Mirage Dragon into pursuit.

Yu Sheng returned from the Demon Domain with the Mirage Dragon’s corpse as the Freshman Competition gave way to an Evil Cult attack. Zong Ren staged his death and fled with An An, while Yu Mo began investigating and Xu Yuanqing returned to Ink Academy.

• Yu Sheng returned with the Mirage Dragon’s corpse, and the Mountain-Guarding Old Man used its Demon Core to enter the Eighth Awakening.
• Cong Yunfeng helped Yu Sheng present the Mirage Dragon’s death as proof, while news of the kill spread during the Freshman Competition.
• Soul Hunt and the Evil Cult plotted at Lawless Outlaws’ café, where Zong Ren disclosed Qiu Xiaoxiao’s planned attack and Lawless Outlaws negotiated with Yu Sheng.
• Disguised Evil Cultists attacked the freshmen, but Lin Xiaoxiao and the other students fought back as Bai Haitang confronted Qiu Xiaoxiao.

• Xu Yuanqing organized a six-month Light Group assignment, and Yu Sheng and Shi Guang received a difficult mission together in Ink City.
• Yu Sheng and Shi Guang met Lin Siyuan and helped him detain Lü Wei as Yu Mo pressured Zhong Yushu to confess and surrender his company to the Light Group.
• As public anger rose over the crackdown, Yu Sheng arrested Boss Qiu Fanrui for trafficking people and supplies to the Demon Domain, while Lin Siyuan faced the hostile crowd.
