Bai Qinchen drew Tang Wutong away from Huo Yuhao and used the Soul-Seizing Hand and his influence to pull Jiang Nannan, Xiao Xiao, and Tang Ya into his circle. The arc left Bei Bei searching for answers while Tang Ya, unable to face him after betraying him, returned to Bai Qinchen.

• Huo Yuhao suspected Bai Qinchen was behind the altered history, while Tang Wutong went to find Dai Ying and became involved in Bai Qinchen’s plan to get close to her.
• Tang Wutong repeatedly chose Bai Qinchen over Huo Yuhao, began a relationship with him, and told Huo Yuhao that she had slept with Bai Qinchen.
• Tang Wutong and Bai Qinchen continued their affair during the group’s outing, and Jiang Nannan discovered them before joining them herself.
• Jiang Nannan began an affair with Bai Qinchen and stood with him and Tang Wutong when Xu Sanshi and He Caitou tried to attack him.
• Tang Wutong and Bai Qinchen drugged and restrained Huo Yuhao, then humiliated him until he left camp emotionally shattered.

• Bei Bei confronted Bai Qinchen over Tang Ya, and Jiang Nannan subdued him before Tang Wutong's taunts preceded his death.
• Xu Sanshi and He Caitou sought revenge for Bei Bei, but Jiang Nannan and Xiao Xiao defeated them and left them captive.
• Tang Wutong fought Huo Yuhao's Soul Spirits, and their clash devastated the imperial city after Evil Emperor killed Dai Yunshan.
• Huo Yuhao ordered his companions to escape with Xu Sanshi and He Caitou, while Wang Qiu'er absorbed his remaining fortune and regained her life.

Bai Qinchen gathered more powerful allies and forced his way toward Sea God Island, where Tang San’s inheritance was underway. The arc ended with Bai Qinchen confronting the weakened Bo Saixi and demanding that she stop Tang San and give him the Sea God’s Light.

• Bai Qinchen subdued Yali, then took the Snow Empress and Ice Empress before Bibi Dong rejected his advances.
• The Deep Sea Demonic Whale King attacked the ship, but Tang Wutong overpowered him and Bai Qinchen persuaded the Demon Empress and Lan Fozi to board.
• Bai Qinchen coerced the Demon Empress into submitting to him, and Lan Fozi became involved in his abuse of her.
• Tang Wutong captured Zi Zhenzhu, who revealed that Tang San and the Clear Sky Sect were headed to Sea God Island, and the group destroyed the Sea God Phantom blocking their route.
• The Sea God ordered Bo Saixi to accelerate Tang San’s inheritance, while Dai Mubai, Ma Hongjun, Oscar, and Tang Hao confronted Bai Qinchen’s group near the island.
• Tang Hao sacrificed his Soul Rings to fight Bibi Dong, but Dai Mubai rescued him and escaped with Oscar and Ma Hongjun.

Bai Qinchen took Bo Saixi, Yue Rou, and Ah Yin under his control, then clashed with Tang Hao and the forces behind the attack on Spirit Hall. The Goddess of Kindness returned Yue Rou, but the arrival of all five God Kings left Bai Qinchen facing a greater confrontation at Spirit City.

• Bai Qinchen and his companions left Sea God Island to find Ah Yin, then discovered Tang San nurturing her Blue Silver Emperor form at the Ice and Fire Yin Yang Well.

• Tang Hao arrived and attacked Bai Qinchen, but Bai Qinchen’s allies overwhelmed him, and Tang Hao sacrificed his life in a final attack.
• Qian Renxue told Bai Qinchen that contact with Spirit Hall had been cut off, and the group found Bibi Dong trapped in a cocoon beneath a blood-red array.
• Bai Qinchen’s allies defeated the God of Evil’s summoned gods and brought him down, but the Goddess of Kindness intervened and returned Yue Rou in exchange for sparing him.
• The God of Destruction, the God of Life, and the God of Asura arrived, and Wang Qiu’er intercepted the God of Destruction’s attack on Bai Qinchen.
