As the God Kings turned against Tang San’s group, Zi was framed, imprisoned, and driven to destroy himself, killing Ye Yinzhu in the blast. While Tang San and Lei Xiang searched for the killer and mourned Ye Yinzhu, Bai Qinchen exploited the bereaved women around him, and Lie Yan revealed the Gate of Time to him.

• Tang San tried to unite the God Kings to find the killer, but the God of Evil accused his group of murdering the God of Fire.
• After Darkness died and Zi was found gravely wounded, Lie Yan and Xuanyue revealed that they had planted fire and darkness imprints on him, turning the God Kings against him.
• The Godess of Kindness took Zi into the Goodness Divine Hall, where Bai Qinchen abused An Qi and made her betray Zi.
• When Tang San and the others came to visit, Zi stabbed Ye Yinzhu and self-detonated, destroying the hall and leaving only ash behind.

Bai Qinchen used his soul bond with Lie Yan and the women’s recovered memories to gain control over the God Kings while Tang San investigated a series of murders. The God of Time prepared a Gate of Time as Bai Qinchen continued pursuing his plans and drew Tianqin into his influence.
