At the thought, a fire suddenly flared in Tetsu no Sosuke's heart.
He wanted to get out of here. Immediately. Right now!
But at that very instant, it felt as though an invisible hand had seized his heart.
Tetsu no Sosuke looked toward the cell door. Beside him, Honmyo Yutaro, who had been sleeping like a log, suddenly sat up.
They exchanged a glance without a word. Then Honmyo Yutaro rolled over, pulled the Sunflare Hammer from beneath his bed, and tossed it to Tetsu no Sosuke.
Chapter 461: A Trap?
The Sunflare Hammer had been under Honmyo Yutaro's bed all along. Tetsu no Sosuke showed little surprise and silently caught it.
Honmyo Yutaro reached under the bed again and drew out a Nichirin Blade.
"Lord Hammer Pillar."
He stood and bowed his head before Tetsu no Sosuke.
Tetsu no Sosuke let out a long breath.
The past few days had been hard. Prison was no place to enjoy oneself.
Even though Ubuyashiki Kagaya had explained everything in his letter, the confinement had still left Tetsu no Sosuke feeling stifled.
Fortunately, it was all part of the plan.
Clang... clang...
Outside the door came the sound of a blade cutting through iron.
Honmyo Yutaro glanced over, then looked at Tetsu no Sosuke. "What do we do now?"
"Wait." Tetsu no Sosuke gently rubbed his neck. "We've waited this long. What's a few more minutes?"
It had not been the police who found Tetsu no Sosuke.
The first to find him had, of course, been the Hidden.
After all, a Kasugai Crow had stayed with Tetsu no Sosuke the whole time. If anything happened to him, the Hidden would be the first to arrive, not anyone else.
Lately, though, the Demon Hunters of the Demon Slayer Corps had often been ambushed.
