He pointed at the corpse on the ground, the one with Tanjiro's face. "Whose face do you see?"
"Yours!"
Zenitsu Agatsuma pointed at Tetsu no Sosuke. "You died... You died here? Impossible! Then who are you now? What is this place?"
He was on the verge of a breakdown. He tried to flee, but Tetsu no Sosuke grabbed him the moment he turned.
Beside them, Inosuke scratched his head, looking thoroughly confused.
To him, it was just a stranger's corpse. Why were those two acting so strangely?
Shinobu Kocho quietly watched Tetsu no Sosuke and Zenitsu Agatsuma. She neither rushed over nor spoke.
Zenitsu Agatsuma struggled wildly, but he could not break free of Tetsu no Sosuke's grip. Suddenly, he went still. His head drooped as though he had fallen asleep, while Tetsu no Sosuke continued holding his shoulder.
A moment later, a calm voice said, "Let go of me."
Tetsu no Sosuke fell silent for a beat. "You're awake?"
"Yes," the calm Zenitsu Agatsuma said evenly. "He suffered a shock. Let him rest for a while. I'll take control of this body for now."
"All right."
Tetsu no Sosuke released him. "The face you saw—was it mine?"
"No." The calm Zenitsu Agatsuma shook his head. "It wasn't anyone's."
Inosuke nodded at once. "Exactly! It wasn't anyone's. What are you two doing?"
Tetsu no Sosuke let out a quiet breath of relief. "As long as it wasn't anyone's..."
"What should we do now?" Only then did Shinobu Kocho speak. "If we keep breaking through one world and one space after another, we may face even greater dangers and find ourselves in an even more baffling predicament."
"But we can't stay here either," Tetsu no Sosuke said. "We have to find the Water Pillar and Tanjiro first. This place is strange.
