"Still boiling water?"
Tetsu no Sosuke blinked. "At this temperature, it'd be perfect for instant noodles."
"What?" Tanjiro stared at Tetsu no Sosuke in bewilderment. The strange blade had startled him, but he was also wondering what on earth Sosuke had just said.
Tetsu no Sosuke waved a hand. "Nothing..."
Then he looked at Giyu Tomioka again.
Giyu Tomioka was silent for a moment. Water flowed out from the tip of his blade, not in a chaotic spray, but in a winding current that rose and circled him.
It was as though a Water Dragon had formed around him!
"That's my senior for you!"
Tanjiro watched in admiration.
Tetsu no Sosuke rubbed his chin thoughtfully.
He had never tried this. Could the extra attribute gained from embedding be controlled when it manifested?
Did that mean he could control the flames he had gained, too? Had he simply never thought to try?
With that thought, he immediately drew his Sunblaze. At a flicker of his will, flames roared up.
Tetsu no Sosuke directed them with his thoughts and found that he could indeed control the flames, changing their shape as he pleased.
No matter how he shaped them, he could not change their nature, but it was fascinating all the same.
Suddenly, a giant made entirely of flames appeared behind Tetsu no Sosuke. Clad in armor, it looked imposing beyond belief.
Tanjiro and Giyu Tomioka stared, dumbfounded. He could do that?
Tetsu no Sosuke burst out laughing. "Behold my Susanoo!"
It had little practical use. Aside from looking frightening, the giant brought no noticeable increase in heat. In fact, he had spread the flames so thin that their energy dissipated, leaving them even weaker...
The giant swayed in the wind, on the verge of scattering with the breeze.
