Engagement to Shen Yunzhi

Ji Nanxian’s engagement to Shen Yunzhi was arranged to bind the Ji and Jiang families’ business interests. During their roughly five-year acquaintance, Shen Yunzhi repeatedly tried to please him despite his hostility.
