• Nellie proposed that the Zhou work with humanity to bridge the last mile of interstellar transport, and the Warden, Lu Xiao, and the Director arranged for the Mother God Elves to lead the partnership while humanity contributed technology.
• Lu Xiao bade farewell to the soldiers assigned to the Sun mission, and more than ten thousand pilots carried nuclear warheads into the Sun despite catastrophic losses and the Cage’s effects.
• The surviving pilots delivered the warheads to their targets, whose detonations reactivated the Sun’s fusion and ended the long night on Earth and in the Dark Prison.

• The Director followed Liu Guang’s advice to obey the Empress’s transfer order, but Liu Ni secretly persuaded the Empress to keep him on Mother Goddess Star and appoint him to the Deliberative Council.
• Nearly two Earth years later, the Empress recognized the Director’s independence, and the Mother God Elves of Rheinblue stopped shunning him and his companions.
• Mother offered the Director a choice between remaining on Mother Goddess Star while Liu Ni stayed captive or seeking an Outer God’s Authority of Life to free her, and Lu Xiao and Liu Guang chose to undertake the dangerous task.
• The Director helped Liu Guang reach godhood, and Lu Xiao and Liu Guang traveled through the Woll Galaxy with Yilu’s fleet before the Mother God Elves clashed with the Horned Lizard Race.

Lu Xiao and his companions escaped the Woll Galaxy’s conflicts, gathered resources, and used a staged sale to draw the attention of powerful factions at the Central Black Market. They learned of the Mother Goddess Elves’ influence over beauty, reserved information about the authority of life, and ended up dining at Fallen Angel’s Kiss.

• Lu Xiao’s group retrieved the Crystal Skull, escaped into subspace, and later relied on Old Feis to bring their damaged warship back to safety.
• Marnal swore loyalty to humanity in exchange for help rebuilding his people, while Luolin agreed to secure the Logistics Point and Calamity completed his advancement to a Great Old One.
• At the Central Black Market, Lu Xiao’s group raised funds by selling goods with fabricated stories, attracting the Metallic Life Star God and a Neutral Lifeform before fleeing with a large profit.
• Lu Xiao and his companions visited the Dream Clan weaver Nuan Meng, who explained that her people and the Holy Maiden Spider Clan had sacrificed their beauty after receiving aid from the Mother Goddess Elves.
