After Dennis Mallister left the King's Tower, Eastwatch-by-the-Sea's commander Carter Pike was also called to Gary's study.

The two followed the same pattern, and Carter Pike also successfully entered the trap.

Samwell deliberately calculated the time. When sending Carter Pike away, it happened to be the time for the voting meeting to be held in the afternoon.

Doing so hardly left the two commanders with much time to think.

Gary did not attend the meeting, but he heard afterwards that Samwell had shown great courage. He first made Jon·Stark the first candidate to become the candidate.

Then under his manipulation, the two commanders voted all 400 votes for Jon·Stark. By the time they realized something was wrong, the votes had already taken effect, and Jon·Stark was successfully elected commander-in-chief.

When Dennis Mallister and Carter Pike walked out of the conference hall, they said to Samwell in a strange way, "Luke, His Majesty has such a good plan, he actually counted us all in."

They still don't want to believe that they were plotted by the fat man Samwell, but that the superior King in the North tricked them.

Gary held a celebration dinner for Jon. Although Castle Black didn't have any good food or wine, everyone took this opportunity to have a lively night.

A few days later, Jon came to Gary's study and wanted to discuss Wildlings's problem with Gary.

"Wall There are tens of thousands of Wildlings outside. They are also living people and can be our help in fighting the dead."

Gary nodded in agreement, "Do what you want."

Jon asked overjoyed, "Do you support me?"

"Of course. There are at least 70,000 to 80,000 Wildlings outside. Even if you only convince one-tenth, it is still a success." Gary even felt that the priority of the Wildlings army was much higher than that of the more than 400 Night's Watch.

Jon also considered this, "We have more than a dozen abandoned castles. If Wildlings's army can enter these castles, then the Wall will be unbreakable!"

Gary poured a glass of water for Jon, and then said, "Wildlings's army has been torn apart, and you can't get them all back. So, just go talk to the tribes who stayed in Haunted Forest."

Jon actually wants to bring all Wildlings to the south of Wall, let them settle in those abandoned castles, and take over the duties of Night's Watch.

But Gary is right. After King Beyond the Wall Mance Rayder died, tens of thousands of Night's Watch were redispersed into countless tribes. Some of them stayed in Haunted Forest, some returned to Beyond the Wall, and some ran to Hardhome in the east.

Gary walked to the side of the boat, "I have 1,700 cavalry outside the city, and they will escort you into Haunted Forest. In order for the negotiation to proceed smoothly, you'd better bring Wa'er with you."

During the period when Jon conquered Wildlings, he was going to ride a dragon to find the cave of Three-Eyed Crow. Many years had passed, and he had only walked the route from the cave to the Wall once, so he couldn't remember it clearly.

While the two were continuing their discussion, Melisandre suddenly arrived. She was a little excited, "Your Majesty, there is... a Children of the Forest coming from the north and asking to see you by name."

It must be the guidance of Supreme God that made Children of the Forest, who had long been silenced, appear.

Gary stood up in surprise, "Go and invite her in... No, I will greet her myself."

He quickly walked down the King's Tower, with Melisandre and Jon following behind him.

The entrance to the tunnel gate on the north side of Castle Black.

Leaf stood there alone, surrounded by Night's Watch.

Night's Watch kept staring at her like she was a monster, and was still commenting on how ugly Children of the Forest looked and how slovenly she was.

"Everyone, get out of the way!"

Gary didn't like the way they looked at Leaf and roared loudly.

When Night's Watch saw that the person coming was King in the North, they all moved out of the way.

Gary trotted towards Leaf, hugged her hard into his arms, and said hoarsely, "Aunt Ye, I miss you so much."

Leaf was still like Gary when he was a child. He patted his back and said with tears in his eyes, "Luke, you have grown up and are taller than me."

"Aunt Ye, why are you here..."

Gary let go of Leaf, and seeing more and more Night's Watch onlookers, he took Leaf's hand and left, "Follow me."

They returned to the study in the King's Tower and continued the conversation they had just left in this slightly quieter place.

"Aunt Ye, shouldn't you be guarding Three-Eyed Crow? How did you come to Castle Black? And, how did you know that I was at Castle Black?"

Leaf told Gary the letter from Krysalis and the current situation of Three-Eyed Crow.

Gary touched his chin, "Aunt Ye, do you think we should fight White Walkers outside the Wall, or use the terrain of the Wall?"

Leaf blurted out, "It's best to take advantage of the Wall. It was originally used to resist White Walkers. If it is abandoned..."

She was stunned for a moment and realized the meaning of Gary, "You want to persuade us to give up Greenseer?"

Gary nodded directly without any disguise, "Yes, that's what I mean. Three-Eyed Crow can't move, he will only drag us down. If you continue to stay there, what else can you do except die with him?"

"Why don't you come to Castle Black to help me, fight for the living, and defeat White Walkers with us."

Leaf was struggling in his heart, "But Greenseer is the person chosen by God. We must protect him until the next Greenseer appears."

"The next Greenseer will not appear because I have ended the inheritance of Three-Eyed Crow." Gary believes that Leaf knows that Bran·Stark is the next Three-Eyed Crow.

His eyes were solemn, "Bran·Stark is my brother. I can't watch him become the puppet of Heart Tree and Three-Eyed Crow."

Leaf was shocked, "How do you know Bran·Stark...Luke, you should respect Heart Tree, that is our Children of the Forest god."

"But the problem is that your god has abandoned you, and it has chosen a human to be its agent. And you, Children of the Forest, are getting weaker and weaker, and are about to become extinct."

Gary put his hands on Leaf's shoulders and said seriously, "Aunt Ye, you need to believe in new gods so that your race can continue."

Leaf broke free from Gary's hands and looked at him in disbelief, "You want me to believe in human Seven?"

"No, not Seven. I want you to believe in me, Supreme God Gary."

"What?" Leaf's eyes widened, "Are you crazy?"

Gary raised his left hand, "Aunt Ye, can you see the power contained in this arm?"

Leaf and Gary held hands and carefully felt the Mana in their arms. "It's very similar to White Walkers's Mana, but it's fundamentally different. Are you using Mana to imitate White Walkers? How do you do it?"
