Hello everyone, my name is Yi Weixie.
As you can see, so far, the second part of "Restricted Fantasy Invasion" has ended with the close relationship established by Yan Huan and An Le.
Here, rather than the content of this volume, I actually want to talk about some things on the creative level.
There are two main aspects, one is about the roles and shaping of the protagonists, and the other is about the branch plots.
In fact, in my opinion, there has always been a core contradiction in stories with multiple female protagonists:
There is a contradiction between the large amount of plot and space required to create a vivid character, and the limit of the plot and space to accommodate information within a paragraph.
Therefore, authors (including me in the last book) often adopt a very clever, or tricky, method to avoid this contradiction.
That is: focus on creating a heroine for a period of time.
At the same time, the other heroines are placed off the stage, temporarily offline or occasionally on stage.
Of course, this also has its disadvantages, which have been mentioned before and will not be repeated here.
As I said in my acceptance speech, I adopted another plan of appearing on the stage at the same time to avoid any character being left behind.
The advantage of this method is that it can avoid the disadvantages of the previous method, but the disadvantages or difficulties are also beyond imagination.
Try any new tools or methods. In fact, no matter how well prepared you are before starting, numerous disasters will often occur during practice.
First of all, the biggest problem is: when using this method, there are too many female protagonists.
In the prologue and the first volume, I created a total of six heroines with different personalities and different predicaments, which means that when they appear on the stage together, they will squeeze the space of each other's scenes.
On the one hand, the heroine who should be standing in the center of the stage at this moment is squeezed by the other heroines, and the shaping is not smooth.
On the other hand, the heroine who is slightly marginal at the moment is labeled and profiled.
One rib is blocked at both ends.
Some readers may be confused and question this difficulty:
"Why are they squeezing each other's screen space?"
This question is actually not difficult to answer.
Maybe you have heard a saying that when writing a novel, the characters will come to life as you write them.
This statement may not be deeply felt by the creator, but I must stress that it is true.
During the course of the story, these six heroines seemed to come alive.
The story you create to create this character will inevitably conflict strongly with other characters' personalities, locations, Modifier and other factors.
Therefore, in fact, the image of the stage is not accurate, it is more like a huge water tank.
There is clear water in the water tank, and the six heroines put paints of different colors into it.
After getting into it, you often want one color to go to the center of the water, and the other or several colors will be mixed together along the water flow.
Finally, some of the paint was mixed with the main paint, causing them to be thin in their original positions.
And the color in the middle that should occupy most of the position is not bright and eye-catching enough because it is dyed with other colors.
Of course, readers will ask again,
"You fart! Didn't you also use this method in the first volume? It's not good, why is it like this now?"
The problem is that the prologue and the first volume are actually more about introducing and getting closer to the character than establishing the character.
At that time, the information and scenes required by each character were not much, and it could only be regarded as a shallow water area.
It's like just putting the paint into the water tank. At that time, they haven't started to spread over time, and they just stay in one corner. Naturally, there will be no such contradiction.
As the plot progresses and enters deep water, their desires and dilemmas become more and more exposed, and this kind of problem will undoubtedly emerge.
Okay, this is a question about the protagonist.
Second point, I actually want to talk about some side plots.
That is, some supporting roles, foreshadowing, etc.
In my opinion, the description of some supporting characters is necessary, but it is often necessary to reduce their voices when describing them.
In fact, I can completely understand the readers who spoke, and I never blame the readers who make suggestions and comments based on rational feelings.
After all, as stated in the previous question I described:
The protagonists have already begun to fight for their share of the stage, and they also have to include supporting roles. Is it because there are too many scenes?
I understand, so when I see the feedback from readers, I inevitably become timid.
For example, in the previous volume, I deleted a lot of scenes of Student Council members, including all the scenes of the teacher Lin Wanwan.
But in this way, a piece of content from the previous volume is missing, making it incomplete.
I don't know if you still remember that in the last scene of the previous volume, when Yan Huan claimed that he was Student Council, there were flashbacks of all Student Council members.
In fact, you only need to think about it to know that they were once bullied and marginalized figures in the school. It was because of the help of Yan Huan that they came out of the shadows and even joined Student Council.
At that time, I only wrote about their past, but after being helped, they should also write down their feedback and actions in response to bullying, as well as their new life in school.
In this way, we can make Student Council's handling of bullying cases more reasonable in terms of perception, and also prevent this school from being full of gods like it is now.
Then, in the last scene, the image of the protagonist is reciprocated, making the love relationship between Yan Huan and Hitomi Sakuramiya more vivid.
Don't forget, it was precisely because of Yan Huan's help to these colleagues that she finally secretly promised to
The story line of Yan Huan is already full on Modifier and other issues, and these side descriptions are best described by the supporting characters.
Therefore, in the long run, these branch lines are actually to shape the protagonist, rather than to be useless.
And the rest, Luciana, the Student Council elder of the Xiuzhi Academy who grew up with Hitomi Sakuramiya, will add to the image and dilemma of "Hitomi Sakuramiya" in the next volume.
Sakuramiya mirrors Ye Shiyu, that is, when Yan Huan goes to Golden Lion Group for internship, it will be very important to help perfect the character image of Ye Shiyu.
But do you think the branch line is really necessary?
Not entirely.
It can still function if it is missing and will not affect the main line.
But in the end, maybe there will be a little less flavor?
Of course, when I list the dilemmas and difficulties encountered in the current story, I do not want to complain to the readers, or say to you, "Ah, I have gone through such difficulties and hard work, and you still don't understand me?"
It's just that I think that exposing existing problems and facing them squarely can often boost confidence more than hiding them.
From the time I started writing my first book when I was still young, I realized that writing is a wonderful puzzle. In addition to writing more, you also need to summarize and trial and error more in order to become better.
In addition, of course, because you are money-paying readers, I am responsible for you by stating my situation to you, and I also hope that you can have a clearer understanding of the story and content you purchased.
Therefore, based on the above two issues, I have actually considered more ways to improve it.
In the next volume, the style will be more daily and humorous, and of course, there will also be some small horror elements.
After all, the next heroine to be highlighted is not someone who likes to fight and kill.
Student Council's role will increase, but it does not necessarily appear alone, but is integrated into the scenes with the protagonist group.
Add some scenes for the heroines, name and criticize Ye Shiyu and Bai Yi, so that they can get rid of facial makeup and labeling as much as possible, and become more cute and lovable.
Yan Huan, who is determined to follow the path of "I want it all", will take over the control of the story and form a team with An Le, Tong Yingying, and Spencer to meet the challenge posed by Modifier.
Okay, that's everything I want to tell you at the end of this volume.
I will take a day off today to sort out the outline of the next volume. I will vote in the group for the March extra chapter tonight and will finish writing and upload it soon.
Tomorrow, we will enter the next volume, the story about Hitomi Sakuramiya.
