Conflicts among Modifier hosts produced new fragments, and Tong Yingying took Yan Huan away in a van while Hitomi Sakuramiya organized a pursuit.

• Yan Huan gave Hitomi Sakuramiya a fan after Liang’s birthday party and read her thoughts about installing a surveillance camera in his home.
• Yan Huan discovered Hitomi Sakuramiya’s surveillance equipment and secret photographs, and Spencer broke her Barrier before she could make him accept her behavior.
• Hitomi Sakuramiya admitted her wrongdoing and undid her modification, and Yan Huan demanded the cameras and recordings be removed while keeping her as vice president on probation.
• Spencer fought through the Club War with the Doujin Club, lost to Ye Shiyu, and returned stolen belongings after Yan Huan confronted her.
• Tong Yingying tracked down Nara, confronted Hitomi Sakuramiya over the surveillance, and gave her one month to capture Mama Bai’s assassin.

Yan Huan and the Student Council navigated jealousy, family conflicts, and the hospital mystery surrounding An Le, Bai Yi, and Ye Shiyu while Spencer prepared to leave Totsuki Academy. After collecting two Modifier fragments, Yan Huan joined Spencer and the others at Universal Studios, where her strange reaction to magic and birds raised new questions.

• Tong Yingying took Yan Huan to White Feather, where Hitomi Sakuramiya challenged her by threatening to buy the restaurant, only to learn Tong Yingying owned its shares and accept her invitation to dine.
• Sakuramiya Yuri arrived in Linmen, encouraged Hitomi Sakuramiya to pursue Yan Huan on her own terms, and left Hitomi experimenting with how her Barrier could change her appearance.
• Yan Huan visited An Le, Bai Yi, and Ye Shiyu in the hospital, where he discovered Little Finger had swallowed a Modifier fragment and that Spencer could absorb the poisonous mist surrounding An Le.
• Ye Shiyu hypnotized Zuo Jiangqin into confessing her schemes against Bai Yi and Yan Huan, but Ye Lan caught Ye Shiyu before she could escape and took away her phone.
• Yan Huan collected Bai Yi’s and Ye Shiyu’s fragments, giving Meow-chan enough material to evolve, while An Le remained hospitalized and gave Spencer her team-training methods.
• Spencer took You Anlina and the others to Universal Studios, deciding to make amends to her friends before leaving Totsuki Academy.
• At the Harry Potter attraction, Spencer held Yan Huan’s wrist, tried casting a spell on him, and later charged at Hua Zhaofeng and Piao Shuwen before Yan Huan stopped her.

Yan Huan stood by Spencer through the Club War, helping the Doujin Club win and giving her the courage to stay at Totsuki Academy. After Spencer’s choice to remain brought her into conflict with her mother and An Le, she left home and found shelter with Yan Huan.

• Spencer opened up to Yan Huan about being bullied as a child, apologized for how she had treated him, and said she planned to leave Totsuki after the Club War.
• During the Finals, Spencer’s teammates were exposed for planning to throw the relay, and the crowd’s mockery made her Modifier begin to break apart.
• Yan Huan joined the Doujin Club in their place, challenged Owen, and helped restore Spencer’s resolve as the crowd rallied behind them.
• Yan Huan overtook Owen in the relay, and Spencer recovered after falling before diving across the finish line to win for the Doujin Club.
• Spencer kissed Yan Huan in front of the stadium, then used the Club War wish to remain at Totsuki and signed her name as Aria Spencer.
• After her mother opposed her staying and An Le ended their friendship over Spencer’s feelings for Yan Huan, Spencer ran away from home to find An Le.
• An Le’s Modifier evolved after she used a tentacle to stop men who approached her in an alley.
• Spencer arrived at Yan Huan’s apartment with a suitcase, and he let her stay after she explained that she had argued with her mother.

Spencer ran away from her mother, stayed with Yan Huan, and completed the paperwork to return to Totsuki before Elvira took her to the hospital. Meanwhile, An Le’s Modifier evolved, and she resolved to oppose the other hosts to protect Yan Huan as Tong Yingying left for Sakura Nation to investigate Mama Bai’s murder.

• Spencer escaped the Golden Lion Building and stayed at Yan Huan’s apartment, where they kissed and shared his bed.
• Spencer confronted An Le about her feelings for Yan Huan, and An Le’s Modifier evolved after she was surrounded by men in an alley.
• Yan Huan helped Spencer complete the paperwork to return to Totsuki, while An Le followed him and saw Spencer waiting for him outside his building.
• An Le attacked Spencer at a restaurant, but Spencer’s golden horns weakened An Le’s Pleasure Manipulation before Yan Huan returned and found Spencer collapsed in his arms.
• Heather offered Yan Huan money to conceal Spencer’s disappearance, but Yan Huan refused, and Elvira took Spencer to the hospital after she resumed her enrollment.
