After Lin Qingyang defeats Bi Yue and the Demon Clan leaves, Mo Yan learns that Lin Qingyang’s power came from a Ku Rong Tree Seed consuming his lifespan. Lin Qingyang survives the night but has at most a month to live, and Mo Yan breaks down outside his room.

• The manager revealed that a young man with a sword had booked the Heaven Room for a day and a night, and Yun Zhan went with her to find his junior sect brother.

• Lu Ming turned his broken sword into poisonous blood-red sword qi and attacked Lin Qingyang, but Cang Mo took the blows while Yun Zhan sent Lu Ming crashing into the rubble.
• Lu Ming revealed that he had refined a Zhen Demon's Demon Core and prepared another attack, but Yun Zhan cut his throat and killed him.

• Cang Mo realized Lin Qingyang had anticipated his death and erupted with demonic power, driving everyone back.

Ku Rong said they both would die within two months unless Lin Qingyang’s spiritual root could be rebuilt with the Nirvana Lotus, and Jin Buhuan arrived with news that he had found it.

• Lin Qingyang woke in Fusheng Pavilion and learned that A-Qi had transferred his demonic power and lifespan through a blood contract to save him.
