Arc 11The Nirvana Lotus in Headless Mountain

Lin Qingyang and Cang Mo pursue the Nirvana Lotus from the Jade Capital to Cang Yu’s tomb, where they discover Wuyun may be its host. As Lu Qing, wielding Jiuchen’s sword intent, battles Cang Mo, Wuyun abducts Lin Qingyang and leaves the others amid the collapsing cavern.

  • Lin Qingyang traveled to the Jade Capital with Cang Mo and their companions, where Jin Buhuan’s lead pointed them to Great Dream Heaven and the Limitless Platform.

  • Di Ming’s memories led Lin Qingyang and the others to Cang Yu’s tomb beneath Headless Mountain, where Ku Rong was decapitated by an unknown figure.
  • Cang Mo absorbed the demonic qi released from Cang Yu’s bones and lost control, carrying Lin Qingyang into an underground garden where they found a revived demon named Wuyun.
  • Wuyun mistook Cang Mo for Cang Yu and asked where Cang Yu was, while Lin Qingyang and the others realized that taking the Nirvana Lotus from Wuyun might save Lin Qingyang but kill him.
  • Lu Qing arrived and fought Cang Mo with Jiuchen’s sword intent and the restored Nine Heavens Sword, causing the underground garden to collapse.
  • Wuyun bound Lin Qingyang with red silk and carried him into a dark passage as Cang Mo was blocked behind a crumbling wall.
Chapters 251–275 Vol. 3 Read

Ch. 251Jade Capital

Lin Qingyang prepared to travel to Jade Capital with the wounded Cang Mo to search for the Nirvana Lotus, while arranging for the others to protect the Human and Demon factions. The chapter ended with Lin Qingyang taking the struggling wolf cub to give him a bath before their journey.

  • After hearing that the Nirvana Lotus was in Jade Capital, Mo Yan, Langya, and Hong Ling volunteered to go, but Hailan said the High Priest required Lin Qingyang to make the journey in person.
  • Lin Qingyang decided to leave for Jade Capital the next morning and told Langya and Hong Ling to return to Demon Emperor City to keep the Demon Clan stable while Cang Mo was gravely wounded.
  • Lin Qingyang asked Feng Shu to deliver a letter to Jian Hong about Carefree House and ordered Feng Yi to remain at Fusheng Pavilion.
  • Mo Yan agreed to accompany Lin Qingyang to protect him on the way to Jade Capital.
  • As Lin Qingyang packed, Cang Mo climbed into his bundle to insist on coming, and Lin Qingyang promised to take him before carrying him off for a bath.

Ch. 252Bathing

Lin Qingyang bathed and cared for Cang Mo, who had regressed to a wolf cub after binding their lives together. Their teasing and tenderness eased the fear of losing each other, and they ended the night playfully wrestling on the bed.

  • Lin Qingyang carried the embarrassed Cang Mo into the bath and washed him, revealing the Demon Mark on his back.
  • Cang Mo became aroused while seeing Lin Qingyang naked and developed a nosebleed, then spoke aloud to stop Lin Qingyang from calling Ku Rong.
  • Lin Qingyang realized the nosebleed was caused by Cang Mo’s desire, teased him, and let him bite his chest before Cang Mo licked the marks.
  • Cang Mo said he had bound their lives together so Lin Qingyang could never leave him again, and Lin Qingyang admitted how deeply the devotion moved him.
  • After the bath, Cang Mo tenderly licked Lin Qingyang’s scar, then reluctantly wagged his tail when Lin Qingyang teased him.
  • Cang Mo threatened to get even once he regained human form, and he and Lin Qingyang tumbled together on the bed.

Ch. 253Setting out

Lin Qingyang and his companions traveled to the Jade Capital, where they discovered that entry required an extravagant boat fare. As the ferry carried them toward the city, its boatman explained why many cultivators left their sects to earn a living there.

  • Lin Qingyang set out with Cang Mo, Ku Rong, Mo Yan, and Hai Lan, while Zhu Ji and Feng Yi saw them off.
  • The group used a Teleportation Array Disk to reach the harbor outside the Jade Capital and learned that only the city's ferryboats could cross the restricted waters.
  • A boatman charged them fifty thousand spirit stones for the crossing, counting Cang Mo as a passenger, and Hai Lan paid with five valuable pearls.
  • Mo Yan recognized the boatman's Water-Riding Array and questioned why he had left cultivation to work as a ferryman.
  • The boatman explained that cultivation required money and that he preferred wealth and freedom, leaving Mo Yan unable to answer as the Jade Capital drew nearer.

Ch. 254Prices

Lin Qingyang and the others arrived at the lavish Jade Capital, where they learned that even basic food and lodging cost exorbitant amounts in jade chips. As they passed the city’s gambling tables, an explosion suddenly sounded nearby.

  • The pleasure boat brought Lin Qingyang, Mo Yan, Hai Lan, and their companions to the Jade Capital, whose extravagant buildings and decorations shocked them.
  • A beauty in purple gauze explained that all expenses in the city required jade chips, and Hai Lan exchanged a bag of pearls for fifty chips.
  • Lin Qingyang calculated that the pearls were worth far more outside the city, while the beauty warned that fifty chips would barely cover a meal and a night’s lodging.
  • Mo Yan complained about the city’s prices, and Lin Qingyang called it the World of Money.
  • The group walked past gamblers from both the Human Clan and Demon Clan, then heard a sudden explosion at a busy intersection.

Ch. 255A message

Lin Qingyang and the others witnessed the Jade Capital’s brutal gambling rules before reaching Jin Buhuan’s room at Falling Moon Pavilion. They discovered that Jin Buhuan had lost a wager against the Divine Jade Immortal Venerable and was being held at the Limitless Platform, leaving them to figure out how to rescue him.

  • A furious gambler attacked a dealer, but the Divine Jade Immortal Venerable immobilized him and took his cultivation and lifespan to pay his debt, turning them into golden rain for the glass Phoenix.
  • Lin Qingyang, Mo Yan, Ku Rong, and Hai Lan went to Falling Moon Pavilion to find Jin Buhuan, and the proprietor told them Jin had gone out two days earlier.
  • After entering Jin Buhuan’s suite, the group heard his voice and learned he had found a lead that the Nirvana Lotus had appeared in the Jade Capital five hundred years ago.
  • Jin Buhuan revealed through an illusion that he had lost a wager against the Divine Jade Immortal Venerable and was being held at the Limitless Platform.
  • Jin Buhuan’s illusion vanished, leaving a colorful seashell behind, and Lin Qingyang asked Hai Lan what the Limitless Platform was.

Ch. 256Call for a Girl

Lin Qingyang learned that reaching the Divine Jade Immortal Venerable required entering Great Dream Heaven with ten thousand Jade Chips and defeating the Exquisite Fairy. After discovering that the Immortal Venerable was likely a Great Demon, Lin Qingyang set off for Great Dream Heaven despite having only a few dozen Jade Chips.

  • Hai Lan explained that the High Priest was trapped on the Limitless Platform in Great Dream Heaven, which required ten thousand Jade Chips to enter.
  • Lin Qingyang ordered food and called for a girl, angering Cang Mo, then questioned the woman about the Limitless Platform.
  • The woman explained that challengers had to beat the Exquisite Fairy before gambling against the Divine Jade Immortal Venerable, and warned that few challengers returned safely.
  • Cang Mo revealed that the Divine Jade Immortal Venerable was a Great Demon and that demonic qi surged beneath the Jade Capital.
  • Despite having only about twenty Jade Chips left, Lin Qingyang announced that they would go to Great Dream Heaven.

Ch. 257A priceless treasure

Lin Qingyang used Cang Mo as collateral to gain entry to Great Dream Heaven, and the Heaven-Measuring Scale revealed that Cang Mo was worth more than ten million jade chips before it shattered. Lin Qingyang and his companions crossed the river into Great Dream Heaven, while the gamblers stared at Cang Mo with greed.

  • Lin Qingyang rang the bell at the riverbank and told the beauty in purple gauze that he wanted to enter Great Dream Heaven without having ten thousand jade chips.
  • Lin Qingyang placed Cang Mo on the Heaven-Measuring Scale as collateral, but it initially showed zero and the beauty accused him of wasting her time.
  • When the beauty threatened to collect compensation from Lin Qingyang's cultivation and lifespan, Cang Mo's gaze made the scale's value surge past ten million jade chips and shatter.
  • The beauty in purple gauze accepted Cang Mo's value as sufficient collateral and summoned a bridge of Glazed Brocade Carp across the river.
  • Lin Qingyang, Mo Yan, Ku Rong, and Hai Lan crossed the bridge into Great Dream Heaven with Cang Mo in Lin Qingyang's arms.

Ch. 258Great Dream Heaven

Lin Qingyang entered Great Dream Heaven, where gamblers wagered lifespans and other valuables, and received an invitation from Exquisite Fairy. She demanded that he gamble or surrender Cang Mo as the price of leaving, forcing Lin Qingyang to accept that he had no choice.

  • Lin Qingyang and his companions crossed into Great Dream Heaven and saw a Daoist lose his final thirty years of life to a Demon Clan gambler.
  • A golden light marked Lin Qingyang, and two attendants invited him to meet Exquisite Fairy.
  • Exquisite Fairy recognized Cang Mo as the creature that had burst the Heaven-Measuring Scales and tried to touch him, but Lin Qingyang blocked her.
  • Exquisite Fairy insisted Lin Qingyang gamble with her, threatening to keep Cang Mo if he refused to play or pay ten thousand jade chips.

Ch. 259Exquisite Fairy

Lin Qingyang challenged Exquisite Fairy to a simple Jade Chip game that depended on counting rather than luck. He left her with five chips and a forced loss, then asked whether she wanted to keep playing.

  • Lin Qingyang proposed a game in which players took one to three Jade Chips, and whoever had to take the last one lost.
  • Exquisite Fairy agreed and took one chip first, then she and Lin Qingyang continued taking turns.
  • Lin Qingyang stopped when five Jade Chips remained in the box.
  • Mo Yan realized Exquisite Fairy would lose no matter how many chips she took, because Lin Qingyang could leave her the last one.
  • Exquisite Fairy stared at the chips in disbelief, and Lin Qingyang asked whether she wanted to keep taking them.

Ch. 260Limitless Platform

Lin Qingyang beat Exquisite Fairy at her Jade Chip game and climbed to the Limitless Platform with Cang Mo. There, he found Jin Buhuan transformed into a glass turtle and met the Divine Jade Immortal Venerable, who threatened to turn him into a glass ornament.

  • Exquisite Fairy challenged Lin Qingyang to play again, but the Welcoming Stairway appeared and allowed only him to ascend unless his companions played another round.
  • Lin Qingyang explained to Cang Mo that he had won by using a counting strategy that guaranteed he would take the final Jade Chip.
  • Lin Qingyang carried Cang Mo up the glass stairway and reached the Limitless Platform, where the Glazed Tree and its treasures stood.
  • Lin Qingyang recognized Jin Buhuan in the form of a golden glass turtle and teased him about looking wealthy.
  • The Divine Jade Immortal Venerable appeared and told Lin Qingyang he would look beautiful as a glass figure on his shelf.

Ch. 261Divine Jade Immortal Venerable

Lin Qingyang tried to bargain with Divine Jade Immortal Venerable for the Nirvana Lotus, using Cang Mo as his wager. When Cang Mo swallowed the Immortal Venerable’s ancient Demon Core, the enraged Immortal Venerable trapped Lin Qingyang and began refining Cang Mo in a cauldron.

  • Divine Jade Immortal Venerable challenged Lin Qingyang to gamble and offered treasures from his Glazed Tree in exchange for Cang Mo.
  • Lin Qingyang rejected the offered treasures, saying only the Nirvana Lotus could save his life.
  • Divine Jade Immortal Venerable offered an ancient Great Demon’s thousand-year-old inner core, and Cang Mo swallowed it.
  • Divine Jade Immortal Venerable trapped Lin Qingyang in the floor and sent Cang Mo into a Glazed Cauldron to refine him into a fruit.
  • Divine Jade Immortal Venerable turned toward the helpless Lin Qingyang and declared that it was his turn.

Ch. 262The glazed beauty

Lin Qingyang was being transformed into a glazed statue by the Divine Jade Immortal Venerable when Cang Mo burst from the cauldron and defeated him. Cang Mo caught Lin Qingyang as the spell broke, and Lin Qingyang joked that he had not finished playing with the little thing.

  • The Divine Jade Immortal Venerable turned Lin Qingyang into glaze and sealed his voice after Lin Qingyang exposed him as a Mirage Demon.
  • The glazed cauldron exploded, and Cang Mo emerged, put on his ring, and declared he had come to kill the Divine Jade Immortal Venerable.
  • Cang Mo shattered the Divine Jade Immortal Venerable's crystalline chains and resisted his spell before grabbing him by the neck.
  • Cang Mo wounded the Divine Jade Immortal Venerable and hurled him into the Glazed Tree, breaking the spell on Lin Qingyang.
  • Cang Mo caught Lin Qingyang as he collapsed, and Lin Qingyang joked that he had not finished playing with the little thing.

Ch. 263Mirage Demon

Mo Yan, Ku Rong, and Hai Lan rushed to the Limitless Platform after a disturbance, where they found Lin Qingyang and Cang Mo had defeated the Divine Jade Immortal Venerable. Lin Qingyang learned that Cang Yu had taken the Nirvana Lotus five hundred years earlier after losing a bet and refusing to pay.

  • Mo Yan broke through Exquisite Fairy’s obstruction and led Hai Lan and Ku Rong up the glazed staircase after the Immortal Venerable failed to answer.
  • Jin Buhuan revealed that the Divine Jade Immortal Venerable was a Mirage Demon, while Cang Mo beat him and Lin Qingyang recovered his strength with spirit herbs.
  • Mo Yan, Hai Lan, and Ku Rong arrived and found Lin Qingyang, Jin Buhuan, and Cang Mo safe amid the wreckage.
  • Lin Qingyang asked who had won the Nirvana Lotus five hundred years earlier, and Divine Jade revealed that Cang Yu had lost the bet and stolen it instead.

Ch. 264Setting out again

The group concluded that they needed to find the stone demon Di Ming to learn who had once used the Nirvana Lotus. Cang Mo lost control after absorbing a Demon Core, defeated Divine Jade, and then passed out as the others set sail for the Demon Clan Territory.

  • Lin Qingyang reasoned that the group would need to question Di Ming in the Shadow Cavern to learn about the Nirvana Lotus’s past host.
  • Cang Mo began suffering as chaotic demonic qi surged through him after he swallowed a Thousand-Year Great Demon's Demon Core.
  • Divine Jade attacked the group with sharp glazed shards, but Cang Mo blasted him into the Sea of Clouds before collapsing.
  • Ku Rong examined Cang Mo and said he would recover after resting and absorbing the Demon Core’s power.
  • Jin Buhuan revealed a miniature tower ship inside a Glazed Fruit, and the group sailed toward the Demon Clan Territory.

Ch. 265Jealous again

After Cang Mo recovered from the effects of the potent herbs, Lin Qingyang spoke with Jin Buhuan about the search for the Nirvana Lotus and the possibility of staying. Hai Lan confessed his feelings to Lin Qingyang, provoking Cang Mo’s jealousy, and the chapter ended with Cang Mo kissing him and threatening to lock him up.

  • Lin Qingyang thanked Jin Buhuan for tracing him to the Jade Capital, and Jin Buhuan revealed that Cang Mo had secretly asked him to find the Nirvana Lotus.
  • Jin Buhuan urged Lin Qingyang to stay, but Lin Qingyang gazed at the moon and remained silent.
  • Hai Lan told Lin Qingyang that he would wait for him if he ever grew tired of Cang Mo, then tried to kiss his hand.
  • Cang Mo appeared, watched Hai Lan leave, and silently glowered as Lin Qingyang checked that his fever had gone down.
  • Lin Qingyang teased Cang Mo for being jealous, and Cang Mo dragged him into the room, kissed him fiercely, and threatened to lock him up.

Ch. 266Settling the score

Cang Mo confronted Lin Qingyang over hiding his plan to die, and their suppressed fear and hurt gave way to a reconciliation. As they continued their journey to find the Nirvana Lotus, Mo Yan invited Jin Buhuan to return to the Nine Skies Sect, leaving Jin Buhuan’s decision dependent on the pay.

  • Cang Mo used his Demonic Qi to overpower Lin Qingyang and accused him of planning to die without telling him.
  • Cang Mo broke down over nearly losing Lin Qingyang, and Lin Qingyang promised to stay with him and kissed him first.
  • Lin Qingyang and Cang Mo reconciled in the cabin while trying to keep quiet aboard the ship.
  • Jin Buhuan released a small sea turtle he had caught and returned to fishing.
  • Mo Yan told Jin Buhuan he planned to return to the Nine Skies Sect after they found the Nirvana Lotus and invited him to become an elder again.
  • Jin Buhuan said his return depended on the salary, and he and Mo Yan shared a drink.

Ch. 267Dying of Embarrassment

After waking aboard the ship with Cang Mo, Lin Qingyang was mortified when their companions revealed they had overheard them through the thin walls. Once ashore, the group learned that the Nine Heavens Sword fragments had been stolen from Demon Emperor City, but they prioritized finding the Nirvana Lotus to save Lin Qingyang and rode toward the Shadow Cavern.

  • Lin Qingyang woke beside Cang Mo, who clung to him and asked for another round.
  • Ku Rong, Jin Buhuan, and Mo Yan revealed they had heard the pair through the ship's thin partition, and Lin Qingyang ordered Cang Mo to get off him.
  • Lin Qingyang disembarked and met Yin Yu, who reported that the Nine Heavens Sword fragments had been stolen from the Purification Pool and its two guards killed.
  • Cang Mo ordered Yin Yu to have Langya continue investigating the theft, while Ku Rong insisted the group focus on finding the Nirvana Lotus to save Lin Qingyang.
  • The group mounted the Spirit Shadow Steeds and headed toward the Shadow Cavern.

Ch. 268Revisiting an old haunt

Lin Qingyang and his companions visited the Shadow Cavern to ask Di Ming about Cang Yu’s past and the Nirvana Lotus. Di Ming’s memories led them to suspect the lotus was buried in a tomb beneath the Moon-Worship Altar on Headless Mountain.

  • Cang Mo forced Di Ming to stop playing mahjong and hear their questions about events from five hundred years ago.
  • Lin Qingyang asked whether Cang Yu had someone close to him, and Di Ming recalled that Cang Yu had many lovers.
  • Di Ming remembered that Cang Yu had gone mad and attacked the Human Clan shortly before his death, leading Lin Qingyang and Jin Buhuan to reason that he had failed to save someone and likely buried the Nirvana Lotus with them.
  • Di Ming recalled that Cang Yu had built the Moon-Worship Altar, and Cang Mo explained that the Wolf Clan believed the moon could bring the dead back to life.
  • Di Ming revealed that the altar stood on the sheared-off peak of the Demon Clan’s highest mountain, later called Headless Mountain.

Ch. 269Headless Mountain

Lin Qingyang, Cang Mo, and the others found the entrance to Cang Yu’s underground tomb beneath Headless Mountain and descended into its depths. Ku Rong turned back because the demonic qi weakened him, but an unknown figure killed him and entered the tomb.

  • Ku Rong used his vines to locate an empty space beneath the ruined altar, and Mo Yan uncovered a hidden stone door.
  • Cang Mo opened the door, and the group descended into a cavernous tomb covered with Cang Yu’s claw marks.
  • Ku Rong struggled against the powerful demonic qi, so Lin Qingyang told him to return to the surface while the others continued downward.
  • After Ku Rong emerged from the tomb, an unknown figure cut off his head and entered the darkness.

Ch. 270Skeletal remains

Lin Qingyang, Cang Mo, Jin Buhuan, and Mo Yan fought demonic wolf shadows in the tomb before the floor collapsed and revealed Cang Yu’s remains. After they found a fragment of the Nine Heavens Sword, Cang Mo began absorbing the released demonic qi and appeared on the verge of losing control.

  • Cang Mo transformed into a white wolf and destroyed the wolf shadows after they repeatedly re-formed and wounded Jin Buhuan.
  • The tomb floor collapsed, and Cang Mo caught Lin Qingyang before he fell to the bottom of the pit.
  • Cang Mo identified the enormous skeleton as Cang Yu, and Lin Qingyang guessed Cang Yu had died trying to reach the main burial chamber.
  • Lin Qingyang found a Nine Heavens Sword fragment lodged in Cang Yu’s bones, and removing it unleashed the skeleton’s demonic qi.
  • Cang Mo absorbed the demonic qi while still digesting a thousand-year Demon Core, and his eyes turned scarlet as he began to lose control.

Ch. 271Running wild

Cang Mo lost control and attacked Mo Yan, but Lin Qingyang’s presence briefly calmed him before Cang Mo abducted him into the tomb’s depths. After carrying Lin Qingyang through a hidden passage to a strange, glowing cavern, Cang Mo pinned him down and tore away part of his sleeve.

  • Jin Buhuan tried to restrain the frenzied Cang Mo, but Cang Mo broke free and knocked Mo Yan into a rock wall.
  • Lin Qingyang stepped between Cang Mo and Mo Yan and spoke gently to Cang Mo, who briefly seemed to recognize him.
  • Cang Mo grabbed Lin Qingyang, slung him over his shoulder, and fled through the tomb passages as a rockfall blocked Jin Buhuan and Mo Yan from following.
  • Cang Mo carried Lin Qingyang through a passage into a damp, faintly glowing place, then threw him down inside a narrow cave.
  • Cang Mo pinned Lin Qingyang to the ground and tore half his sleeve away, leaving Lin Qingyang frightened and confused.

Ch. 272The male corpse

Lin Qingyang calmed Cang Mo’s rampaging wolf instincts and led him out of the cave, where they found a preserved corpse in Demon Clan wedding robes. As Lin Qingyang searched the corpse for the Nirvana Lotus, its hand suddenly grabbed his wrist.

  • Cang Mo, overcome by demonic qi, guarded the cave and tried to keep Lin Qingyang from leaving, but Lin Qingyang slapped him and ordered him to follow.
  • Lin Qingyang and Cang Mo entered a vast underground garden and found a man in Demon Clan wedding robes lying on a stone platform.
  • Lin Qingyang searched the corpse’s hands while Cang Mo growled jealously, then found a wolf fang instead of the Nirvana Lotus.
  • The corpse’s hand moved and clamped around Lin Qingyang’s wrist.

Ch. 273The corpse stirred

Lin Qingyang and Cang Mo found the red-robed corpse had come back to life, and Cang Mo’s demonic qi stopped him from killing the stranger. The demon called himself Wuyun and asked where Cang Yu was, leaving Lin Qingyang unable to answer.

  • The red-robed corpse revived and attacked Lin Qingyang, but Cang Mo broke his wrist and threw him aside.
  • Cang Mo tried to kill the demon, but Cang Yu’s remaining demonic qi turned his attack aside and caused a backlash.
  • The demon heard Lin Qingyang call Cang Mo A-Qi and mistook him for Cang Yu before learning his name was Cang Mo.
  • Lin Qingyang gave the demon water, and he introduced himself as Wuyun.
  • Wuyun asked where Cang Yu was, and Lin Qingyang fell silent as he remembered Cang Yu’s bones.

Ch. 274A shocking turn

Lin Qingyang and the others discovered that Wuyun had returned to life, apparently sustained by the Nirvana Lotus, leaving them to face the possibility that saving Lin Qingyang would kill him. Before they could explain, Lu Qing attacked with overwhelming power, and Lin Qingyang recognized his swordsmanship as belonging to the Nine Skies Sect.

  • Lin Qingyang struggled to tell Wuyun that Cang Yu was gone, while Cang Mo attacked Jin Buhuan and Mo Yan as they descended in a golden bubble until Lin Qingyang stopped him.
  • Jin Buhuan and Mo Yan learned that Wuyun was alive and realized that removing the Nirvana Lotus from him might save Lin Qingyang but end Wuyun’s life.
  • Wuyun demanded to know who they were and where Cang Yu was, but a massive sword strike suddenly split the ground and destroyed much of the underground garden.
  • Lu Qing emerged with blood on his sword, and Lin Qingyang demanded to know what he had done to Ku Rong.
  • Cang Mo attacked Lu Qing, but Lu Qing met his blows with sword qi powerful enough to wound him, then fought him at great speed.
  • Lin Qingyang and the others noticed that Lu Qing’s swordsmanship was not from Divine Sword Mountain but from the Nine Skies Sect.

Ch. 275Divine Sword

Lu Qing restored the Nine Heavens Sword by letting Jiuchen’s sword intent consume his vitality, then fought Cang Mo as the cave collapsed. Wuyun seized Lin Qingyang and escaped through another passage, leaving Cang Mo trapped behind falling rubble.

  • Lu Qing’s shattered Nine Heavens Sword fragments assembled into a complete sword, and its power drove back Cang Mo’s demonic qi.
  • Lin Qingyang realized that Jiuchen’s sword intent had taken control of Lu Qing, who had willingly made himself its vessel.
  • Lu Qing summoned Heavenly Execution, and Cang Mo met the gigantic sword phantom with the full force of his demonic power.
  • The clash wounded Cang Mo and caused the underground cave to collapse, so Jin Buhuan and Mo Yan helped the others flee.
  • Wuyun captured Lin Qingyang with red silk, blocked Cang Mo behind a crumbling rock wall, and carried Lin Qingyang into a dark passage.
