Mo Ling quietly controlled the Cube as he followed behind Li Luo, but his attention was not on the room doors. It was on the wall at the end of the corridor.
The humanoid imprint had not faded. It remained faintly visible, as if that Servant might walk out of the wall again the next second.
But in Mo Ling's vision, there was nothing behind that wall—only an empty void...
Not long ago, when the Servant had first appeared, Mo Ling had been watching that wall.
To Li Luo, the Servant might have "walked" out from inside the wall, but in Mo Ling's vision, that was not what had happened.
There was nothing behind the wall. How could anyone possibly walk out of it?
The Servant had clearly expanded out of the imprint on the wall, just like those rooms, created out of thin air.
When Li Luo triggered some kind of "interaction," these things appeared in a way that could be understood.

Those metal parts could not deceive anyone. Aside from the outermost layer of synthetic skin, this was unquestionably a robot.
