The ground was covered in shattered stones of all kinds, apparently the bodies left behind by Mineralfolk who had fought here long ago.
Even the stone wall beside them was embedded with many protruding crystal spikes. They came in all colors and looked exceptionally strange.
Some of those spikes emitted a faint glow, like the decorative streetlights lining the passageway, quite dazzling.
In the eyes of the Mineralfolk, these probably count as limbs you could find anywhere, right? Mo Ling thought, then glanced at Shi Beng again.
Shi Beng showed no expression, seemingly unconcerned by the remnants of war.

If humans came to a place filled with the remains of their own kind, they would certainly avoid it at all costs. But the Mineralfolk apparently had no such notion.
As they continued onward, Shi Beng said to Li Luo, "We're almost there. Up ahead is a Quartz Clan Mine Stronghold. There are many of them in the Needle Stone Forest. We can't go around this stronghold; we have to pass through it."
"Are they hostile toward humans?" Li Luo asked worriedly.
"No. Mineralfolk hostile toward humans are very rare in the Needle Stone Forest, regardless of their faction," Shi Beng replied.
But then he pointed at the Cube and added, "They may think this friend has Divergent Vein Disease too, just like I did before."
That really is troublesome, Mo Ling thought.
