"What's going on?"
Mo Ling's perception suddenly turned pitch-black—utter, absolute darkness. He could not even make out the structure inside the temple.
"So dark."
Mo Ling could only feel his heart pounding, but as it beat, even the sound of his heartbeat gradually faded away.
The surroundings became utterly silent, leaving only endless blackness.
"Even my senses aren't working?"
He reached out and grasped at the air, but the dense darkness was like a stubborn mass of sludge, impossible to push aside.
A sudden feeling of emptiness arose within Mo Ling. This was the first time he had felt this way in darkness since becoming a Dark Race.
Confusion, loneliness, helplessness... emotions that had only surfaced when he was human and faced with darkness kept flooding in, assaulting his thoughts and constantly reminding him that darkness was full of danger.
His sense of security vanished. Shadows writhed all around him, as if a fanged monster might leap out at any moment and pounce on him.
As those chaotic emotions surged up, Mo Ling immediately realized that this was no longer the darkness he knew.
"What exactly did Jing Tian do?"
Mo Ling helplessly clawed at his surroundings, not daring to take a single step.
To him, the space ahead was a bottomless Abyss.
The fear of the unknown constantly gnawed at him, preventing him from maintaining a clear mind. Worse still, that fear kept growing. The writhing shadows around him seemed to multiply, drawing ever closer to him.
Mo Ling finally could not endure it any longer. Under the crushing pressure of his emotions, he directly activated teleportation and sent the writhing shadow before him into the Cube.

The instant he activated teleportation, the dense darkness trembled, releasing an ear-splitting roar.
Where Mo Ling had activated teleportation, an empty
