Before she knew it, Li Luo had reached the foot of the mountain.

To her surprise, there was actually a man-made mountain path winding all the way to the summit. Simple Wooden Fences had been set up along its more treacherous stretches, clearly built by human hands.

What was more, there were traces of people having walked along the path. The footprints had not yet been covered over.

"Such good luck. I actually found the path right away..."

For such a huge mountain, she had walked straight here and happened to arrive at the path's entrance. Li Luo observed her surroundings for a while before leading Cube onto the mountain path.

It was a barren stone mountain. The path had been cleared spotless, but loose rocks still lay scattered about. Li Luo carefully avoided them as she made her way upward.

Though the path had been carved by human hands, stepping on those loose rocks was still dangerous. It would be easy to slip, and stones occasionally tumbled down from the cliff face beside her. In response, Cube flew directly above Li Luo's head and added a layer of protection for her.

"Thank you." Li Luo glanced at Cube and spoke softly.

She was treating Cube less and less like a "Relic."

Before long, Li Luo had climbed halfway up the mountain, but the path grew increasingly rugged. Guardrails appeared around her, though they did not seem particularly useful.

Li Luo did not dare test how sturdy those railings were. She could only keep close to the inner side of the path and struggle onward.

The freezing wind howled past from above, and loose rocks came clattering down, striking Cube and bouncing off its hard metal walls into the void beyond the path.
