She raised it toward the shelf, intending to put it there, but then felt that was inappropriate. Slowly withdrawing it, she patted the cover, found a small pouch, and carefully tucked it into her bag.
Clearly, the events in the book had nothing to do with her, yet she still felt a deep resonance.
Everyone who left home carried a similar longing. Although Li Luo no longer had a home, she still missed every flower and blade of grass in Dawn City.
