Mo Ling had always felt that everything in this world was somewhat unreal.
Ever since he arrived here, a thick "membrane" had separated him from everything outside the Cube.
He did not belong here, so he never felt as though he truly existed.
Everything that happened outside the Cube passed before him like fairy tales, one after another, and he had never truly immersed himself in any of it.
Where exactly had he come to?
That question had always accompanied him.
Thus, he had never viewed matters from a simple perspective.
The humans of this world were human. Did that mean the humans of another world were not human?
Such questions arose in his mind, but he could not put them into words.
Because he had no better solution either.
Perhaps, as Wang Chuan had said, letting these long-dead bones sleep forever was the best outcome.
They no longer counted as humans...

Mo Ling asked himself inwardly, his heart filled with confusion.
Just as his thoughts were running wild, Wang Chuan, who was ahead of him, suddenly stopped.
"We're here," he said softly.
Mo Ling's wandering thoughts were abruptly interrupted. He hurried past Wang Chuan and looked ahead, only to find that it was still pitch-black, with nothing there.
"Here where?" Mo Ling asked in confusion.
"The entrance to the backpack." Wang Chuan answered calmly as he looked around, then chose a spot.
"Come here." He waved at Mo Ling and Li Luo. "Stand here."
Upon hearing Wang Chuan's instructions, Mo Ling and Li Luo exchanged a glance, then walked forward and stood where he had indicated.
Yet nothing happened.
Mo Ling did not ask any further questions. He simply waited where he was for Wang Chuan's next instruction.
