Yu Tianlong left Sea God Island and visited his disciple Jixiang on Purple Pearl Island, where he recognized Jixiang’s years of progress. He gave Jixiang access to Sea God Island and a God-Given Soul Ring before departing again.
Jixiang mourned Yu Tianlong’s brief visit while the human empires remained locked in a stalemate against Tang San’s Mating Ape army. Golden Crocodile Douluo heard that a divine phenomenon had appeared on Sea God Island a month earlier, but feared something had gone wrong because Yu Tianlong had not returned.
Qian Renxue and Yu Tianlong returned to Jialing Pass as newly risen gods, where the Spirit Hall Empire’s soldiers and offerings welcomed them with worship. After learning that Tang San had gravely wounded Bibi Dong, Qian Renxue asked about the situation and prepared to take command.
Qian Renxue prepared the Spirit Hall army to fight the next day while Yu Tianlong went to help Bibi Dong recover from Tang San's wrath divine power. In the Heaven Dou Empire camp, Xue Ke told the generals that Tang San had become a god, and they feared a god had joined the Mating Ape legion.
Xue Ke concealed her uncertainty about Yu Tianlong’s return to keep the Heaven Dou army from collapsing after Tang San’s appearance as a God Level powerhouse. After the generals left to prepare for battle, she refused to retreat and chose to hold the front, hoping Yu Tianlong would return in time.
Xue Ke rallied Heaven Dou Empire’s leaders to face Tang San’s forces, and both armies prepared for battle. As the armies confronted each other, Tang San arrived above the field as the God of Wrath and demanded to know where Qian Renxue was.
Tang San arrived above the Heaven Dou Empire’s army with the power of the God of Wrath, raising the Mating Apes’ morale and alarming Qian Renxue and the Spirit Hall Empire. Qian Renxue ordered the troops to defend Jialing Pass and confronted Tang San, while her angelic power restored the defenders’ confidence.
Tang San and Qian Renxue faced off above Jialing Pass as their divine domains swayed the armies below, then rose into the sky to fight away from the battlefield. Tang San claimed his army would take Jialing Pass regardless, while Qian Renxue challenged him and insisted Yu Tianlong was still present.
Tang San fought Qian Renxue high above the battlefield, using his superior Divine Sense and wrath powers to evade her attack and provoke her. He then forced her to meet his fully charged Gone Without Return, and the clash began with Qian Renxue’s defenses under immense pressure.
Tang San and Qian Renxue traded devastating attacks in the sky, with Qian Renxue surviving his nine-layered strike and both gods gathering power for a fight to the death. Their duel left the armies below without their divine domains, and the Mating Ape army prepared to exploit its morale advantage.
Yu Tianlong and his allies turned the battle at Jialing Pass against Tang San and the Mating Apes, capturing Tang San as the Heaven Dou Empire army charged across the moat. Yu Tianlong then invited his companions to accompany him to the Divine Realm, confident that they could make the journey.
