Advancement Rules

  • Divine Rank and Creation Level are separate. Su Mo deliberately prioritizes Divine Rank rather than immediately advancing his Creation Level 10.
  • Complete extermination maximizes his reward. If even one member of a civilization survives, its Divine Rank is divided equally between that survivor and Su Mo 15.
  • Civilization level affects the harvest. Destroying civilizations of level one or below yields less than 0.2 Divine Rank; a level-two civilization yields at least 0.4 21.
  • Level Two Creation God requires development, not destruction alone. The stated requirement is cultivating two level-two civilizations or one level-three civilization. A supernatural civilization reaching level three also triggers the advancement 10 48.
  • He times breakthroughs around harvesting. When Zhang Qiancheng develops level-four potential, Su Mo sets an alert to destroy the world as he approaches level three, seeking to avoid reduced Divine Rank gains after his own advancement 48.

Background and History

Obtaining the Creation Godhead

Su Mo obtained the Creation Godhead ten days before the opening chapter. He spent the first three days resigning from his job and learning to use it, then destroyed seven civilizations in succession. Rather than strengthen himself solely through creation, he adopted a cycle of seeding civilizations, accelerating their development, and harvesting their Divine Rank through destruction 1.

He usually allowed a civilization one thousand years to develop. In his experience, that was enough for intelligent societies to reach approximately Type 0.5, while waiting longer rarely produced a Type I civilization quickly enough to justify the delay 1.

The Ultra Civilization

The Three-Eyed Tribe disrupted Su Mo's expectations by reaching Type I within eight hundred years. A system warning then alerted him to Liu Dajun, an Earthling whose weakened soul had entered the Microcosm after a nearby car accident. Su Mo initially considered destroying the entire universe if Liu possessed an indestructible system, but allowed him to remain after confirming that he was an ordinary person 4 6.

Liu helped the Ultra Empire build Giants of Light modeled after Ultraman Tiga. Amused, Su Mo introduced enlarged, modified insects as their opponents, followed by spacefaring mosquitoes that he repeatedly protected from extermination 7 8 11 12.

When Liu and the empire attempted to bring the Microcosm's inhabitants to Earth, Su Mo began the apocalypse early. He sent meteors, an ant army, and mosquito swarms against them, intercepted an attack on Blue Star's moon, and finally flooded the planet after Zoffy defeated the ants. Zoffy's subsequent attack on Su Mo ended with his death; Su Mo preserved Dark Tiga as a trophy 15 17 18 20 21.

The Monkey Race and Asura Experiment

Su Mo's next civilization, the Monkey Race, died out in fewer than three hundred years. Reviewing its history, he discovered that its people had sacrificed themselves to giant mosquitoes and fed a giant ant for protection until the creatures consumed the entire civilization 21 22.

He killed most of the mosquitoes, confined the ant, and placed Liu Dajun's two Soul Tears on Blue Star as enormous lakes. To guide a new four-armed race, he released My Civilization (Closed Beta) to recruit another transmigrator. Streamer Big Pineapple opened the game, inadvertently turning the connection into a livestream through which viewers experienced the Microcosm's accelerated time 22 24.

The Livestream Incident

A Soul Tear projected Liu Dajun's memories of Su Mo into the livestream. Enjoying the viewers' frightened admiration, Su Mo animated the divine figure and reached toward the audience through the connection. Approximately one million screens shattered—including his own phone, because he had forgotten to disable friendly fire 30 31.

While shopping for a replacement, he detected another attempt to locate other universes. Having already installed a firewall, he retaliated by dropping Dark Tiga and his preserved giant ant toward the laboratory on Blue Star 41.

Monitoring the Resentful Soul

After finally buying a new phone, Su Mo discovered that Big Pineapple—Zhang Qiancheng—had become a Resentful Soul. He replayed the intervening history, learning that his collected ant had been killed and that Zhang's grief and resentment had intensified after Yu Ji's suicide 47 48.

Zhang's status showed supernatural level one with level-four potential, exceeding the ordinary limitations of the Soul Tears. Su Mo chose to monitor this new path rather than immediately eliminate him, setting a warning for any approach to level three and confirming that Zhang remained anchored inside the universe 48.

Appearance

  • Relative scale: Blue Star appears approximately basketball-sized to Su Mo inside the Microcosm. The Eye of Ultra initially observes part of his clothing as an immense, folded pillar 4 6.
  • Divine presence: Zoffy perceives him as an immeasurably vast being whose presence causes instinctive fear and overwhelming pressure 21.
  • Livestream manifestation: Appears surrounded by dancing rules and encircling laws, seemingly the center, beginning, and end of the universe. This presentation originates in Liu Dajun's imagination preserved within a Soul Tear; Su Mo likes it enough to adopt it for future entrances 30.

Personality

Su Mo becomes increasingly detached from his creations. He initially watched their lives closely, but repeated exposure to centuries of births, deaths, and separations wore down his interest. Their mostly nonhuman nature also made them difficult for him to identify with 3.

He treats destruction as both resource collection and entertainment. He alternates meteors and floods to avoid monotony, creates monsters to match the Ultra Empire's Tigas, and deliberately waits until Zoffy's hard-won victory before unleashing the flood. He is particularly unforgiving when his creations attempt to capture him or escape his control 7 15 20.

Outside the Microcosm, his priorities are mundane: sleeping, watching short videos, eating, and buying a better phone. He wants gold chiefly to escape financial worries and household chores. His vanity coexists with pettiness—he enjoys being praised as a god, shifts blame onto his victims, and mourns destroyed monsters as irreplaceable collectibles 3 18 30 31 48.

Abilities & Skills

Creation and World Management

Su Mo uses the Creation Godhead to establish and manage the Microcosm 1.

  • Seeds new intelligent races through a one-click creation template 1.
  • Creates successive civilizations on Blue Star, including the Three-Eyed Tribe, Monkey Race, and four-armed Asura race 1 22.
  • Restores a devastated planet's surface through accelerated natural processes 1.
  • Can create a replacement moon, but placing and binding it in the proper orbit would require at least five thousand Microcosm years 18.

Time Manipulation and Historical Replay

He controls the Microcosm's rate of development and can inspect recorded events 1 4.

  • Normally sets one real-world day to one thousand Microcosm years 1.
  • Uses one day to one hundred thousand years when erasing traces of previous civilizations 1.
  • Replays history through a screen-like display to locate transmigrators, investigate extinctions, and inspect unusual developments 4 22 48.
  • Historical replay is used for observation; the supplied events do not establish that he reverses completed history 4 48.

Biological Modification

Su Mo turns ordinary insects into civilization-threatening monsters 8 11.

  • Enlarges and reshapes bodies, adding armor, fangs, weapon-like limbs, and altered wings 8.
  • Accelerates reproduction and supplies the resources needed for rapid growth 11.
  • Grants mosquitoes the ability to survive in a vacuum 11.
  • Preserves breeding populations and replenishes their resources so later civilizations can face the same monsters 12 18.

Destructive and Defensive Authority

Within the Microcosm, ordinary materials become apocalyptic weapons at its inhabitants' scale 1 20.

  • Scattered soil becomes a meteor bombardment; a tipped bucket of water produces a world-ending flood 1 20.
  • Moves himself and creatures across the Microcosm by thought 7 18.
  • Blocks the Ultra Empire's moon-directed attack with his hand 18.
  • Crushes Zoffy's concentrated dark-energy attack and kills him without destroying Dark Tiga's body 21.
  • His voice resonates through the universe and exerts immense pressure on his creations 21.
  • His stated invincibility applies while nothing exceeding the Microcosm's specifications appears; he remains cautious about potentially overpowering outsiders 4 21.

System Construction and Access Control

Su Mo built his own rudimentary system from the Creation Godhead 1 4.

  • Receives warnings about transmigrators and newly detected supernatural life 3 37.
  • Inspects supernatural items and beings, including their level, Divine Rank, effects, and growth potential 16 48.
  • Installs a firewall preventing unauthorized entry and exit, with his game serving as an approved passage 41.
  • Sets automated reminders for dangerous power thresholds 48.
  • The system is limited: its initial transmigrator alert repeats warnings without answering his questions 4.

Real-World Creation

Higher Divine Rank allows Su Mo to break through the real world's supernatural bottleneck 21 31.

  • Transmutes stones and clods of earth into gold 21 31.
  • Can create food from nothing, though he prefers paying someone else to cook 31.
  • His body grows stronger as his Divine Rank rises, even before he can freely use supernatural abilities on Earth 11.
  • His Microcosm-level biological modifications are initially unavailable in the outside world 8.

Equipment / Weapons / Items

  • Creation Godhead — Source of his creation authority and the foundation of his self-built system 1.
  • Foolproof Creation Magic Template — Automates the creation of new civilizations 1 21.
  • Two Soul Tears — Level-three supernatural items formed from Liu Dajun's extreme despair, regret, and resentment. Su Mo turns them into lakes to introduce supernatural development into Blue Star 16 22.
  • Dark Tiga — Preserved after Zoffy's death as a memento; later deployed against another escape attempt 21 41.
  • Giant ant specimen — A collected monster that helped destroy the Monkey Race. Su Mo later deploys it on Blue Star, where Big Pineapple kills it 22 41 48.
  • My Civilization (Closed Beta) — Recruitment game whose soul-locking connection becomes the Microcosm livestream 22 24.
  • Large-screen Pineapple phone — Purchased after his own divine prank destroys his previous phone's screen 30 47.

Relationships

  • Liu Dajun — First detected transmigrator. Su Mo permits the ordinary Earthling to remain and potentially return home, but refuses to let him take the Ultra civilization with him. Liu's despair produces the Soul Tears used in Su Mo's next experiment 4 6 12 15 16.
  • Ultra V — Ruler of the civilization Su Mo intends to harvest. His plans to escape and destroy the moon provoke direct intervention 15 18.
  • Zoffy — Leads the Ultra Empire's final resistance and becomes the first life-form within the Microcosm to meet Su Mo's gaze directly. Su Mo kills him after he attacks, preserving his Dark Tiga 21.
  • Zhang Qiancheng / Big Pineapple — Recruited transmigrator and Asura king. Su Mo regards his later Resentful Soul form as a valuable cultivation opportunity, but plans to destroy the world before its growth reduces his harvesting returns 22 48.
  • Starry Sky Giant Mosquitoes — Reusable monsters that Su Mo creates, feeds, protects, and deploys against developing civilizations 11 12 18.
