Background / History
Yun Yun receives a copy of Cang Lan's Secret Diary, labeled as her sub-quest. Furious at being called “Yun'er wife,” she attacks the diary with wind-based Dou Qi, but the indestructible notebook is unharmed. A voice then informs her that continued reading and comments can qualify her for a lottery draw every seven days. 2
The diary's prediction that the Misty Cloud Sect will be destroyed alarms her. Treating the sect's safety as her responsibility and honoring Yun Shan's kindness, she orders an investigation into Xiao Yan of the Xiao Clan and Nalan Yanran of the Nalan Family. 6 Ge Ye later confirms that both individuals exist, lending credibility to the diary's warnings. 55
Recognizing Nalan Yanran's extraordinary potential, Yun Yun travels to the Nalan Family and accepts her as her final personal disciple. She also considers that a disciple with another diary copy could become an important ally for future rewards. 56 57
