While Jiang Yantian settled into Fairy Fengyin’s courtyard and the storybook pulled her into its plot, Ye Chen found a book promising to change his fate and sought out Li Xuanji.

• Fairy Fengyin’s storybook matched her accidental kiss with Jiang Yantian, while Bi Liushui arrived at the Everlasting Immortal Sect and confronted Li Fenghuai over Gui Ting and Li Xuanji.
• Jiang Yantian turned the sect’s attention toward Ye Chen, whose humiliation awakened his power as the Purple Firmament Sword Lord, but his body swelled with a ghost fetus after he fought off the elders.
• The elders delivered Ye Chen’s horned, one-eyed creature, and Jiang Yantian named it Ye Bugui as Ye Chen’s despair drove him to lash out at those around him.

Jiang Yantian manipulated Yinshu and Li Xuanji’s affairs, then exposed the secrets and betrayals dividing the Everlasting Immortal Sect. The arc left Li Xuanji releasing purification Qi as Li Fenghuai realized someone had been manipulating them and called for the fighting to stop.

• Jiang Yantian disguised himself as Ji Chu and lured Yinshu to a hot spring, where he revealed himself and began an encounter with her.
• Bi Liushui showed Li Xuanji a storybook that predicted his rise, and Li Xuanji followed its advice to pursue Wen Guizhi, the sect master's wife.

After returning to the Demon Domain, he revived the frozen battlefield and entered an ancient instance to restore his wives’ spirits, arriving in Clear Waves City.

• Jiang Yantian drove the Everlasting Immortal Sect to perform the Heaven-Profaning Sacrificial Rite, then blocked the Heavenly Dao’s lightning and exposed Ye Chen’s accusations as true.
• Jiang Yantian forced the survivors into two camps and made them fight until only Ye Chen, Li Xuanji, and Elder Lian remained.

Jiang Yantian joined Yan Miaoxi in founding the Demon Domain and manipulated Wang Jiaorou and Chen Zheng’s reunion for his amusement. He cursed Wang Jiaorou with foul breath, leaving the Heavenly Sound Pavilion’s guests and guardians incapacitated as she tried to revive Chen Zheng.

• Jiang Yantian met Yan Miaoxi at the Heavenly Sound Pavilion, and they agreed to establish the Demon Domain together.
• Jiang Yantian and Yan Miaoxi confronted Wang Jiaorou and Chen Zheng, and Jiang Yantian tricked Wang Jiaorou into entering a private room with him.
