Jiang Yantian destroyed the Venerable Alliance and Divine Sword Sect, then reunited with Yingchun at the Unfettered Holy Land and became entangled with Meng You. After his attack on Tang Wu and Xiao Sang, Meng You spent the night with Jiang Yantian and prepared to break through to Dao Ancestor as a tribulation gathered.

• Jiang Yantian defeated the Star-Breaking Dao Ancestor, annihilated most of the Venerable Alliance and Divine Sword Sect, and forced the survivors to humiliate their leader.
• Chen Yao found Quan Buyue among the survivors, learned the Imperishable Devil Emperor had returned, and joined Jiang Yantian’s forces with Quan Buyue and the remaining elders.
• Jiang Yantian killed Ye Xuan after Ye Xuan killed the five women, then left for Su Ruoqing while Chen Yao and Quan Buyue returned to the Blood Gu Sect.

Meng You became a Dao Ancestor before Jiang Yantian engineered Tang Wutong’s downfall and killed him. In the Floating Ruins, Jiang Yantian manipulated Su Ci and led him into a deadly confrontation with the Soul-Sacrificing Elder, leaving Su Ci torn between revenge and pursuit.

• Meng You broke through to the Dao Ancestor realm with Jiang Yantian shielding her, and the two celebrated her ascension with the Unfettered Holy Land.
• Tang Wu sought to become Jiang Yantian’s disciple, accepted the trial of castrating himself, and received the name Tang Wutong.
• Jiang Yantian arranged for men to pursue Tang Wutong, broadcast the resulting scandal, and had her punished until she tried to escape with the Space-Time Spirit Crystal.

Jiang Yantian used disguises, fabricated memories, and magical barriers to keep Liu Ye, Shi Jin'er, and Leng Ning close while their would-be rescuers struggled to reach them. After Luo Biling departed to seek revenge on the Ancient Holy Emperor, Jiang Yantian left the small world with Liu Ye and Shi Jin'er as his maids and set out to meet Lin Ling and the others.

• Su Ci turned back to find his fallen teammates gone, then continued pursuing Jiang Yantian to rescue Liu Ye as guilt and an inner demon weakened him.
• Jiang Yantian’s illusions deepened Su Ci’s fears about Liu Ye, but Su Ci resolved to accept and comfort her regardless of what had happened.
• Jiang Yantian trapped Su Ci and manipulated Liu Ye, then lured Lin Ling and Shi Jin'er into a pursuit that ended with both men believing he had abducted their loved ones.

Jiang Yantian awakens Hanji Nayi, recovers his memories of the World-Destruction War, and confronts the Ancient Holy Emperor for his betrayal. After destroying the Ancient Dynasty, he reunites with his allies on the icefield, where his fishing mishap brings Helian Yuan face-to-face with Leng Ning as Jiang Yantian’s wife.

• Jiang Yantian defeated Su Ci, Lin Ling, and Wang Cheng, then took Leng Ning, Shi Jin'er, and Liu Ye toward the Eternal Icefield, where the Northern Barbarians hailed him as their Sacred Shaman.
• Jiang Yantian shattered the Eternal Iceberg, entered Hanji Nayi’s memories, and joined with his remnant spirit to witness the World-Destruction War and learn of the Heavenly Dao’s betrayal.
• Jiang Yantian awoke Hanji Nayi, who recognized him as the Devil Emperor, and left her with the Northern Barbarians before teleporting to the Ancient Dynasty to avenge his younger sister.
