Night fell, and stars dotted the heavens. In a tranquil forest, only the crackling of a small fire broke the silence.
The flames swayed in the breeze, illuminating Tien Shinhan's face and revealing his serious, focused expression. He sat cross-legged on the ground, eyes tightly shut and hands forming a seal, as though cut off from the world, wholly absorbed in his inner meditation.
In his mind, scenes of Master Roshi using the Evil Containment Wave replayed over and over.
Returning from his thoughts, Tien Shinhan slowly opened his eyes, drew a deep breath, and stood up. He steadied his breathing, focused his mind, and began imitating Master Roshi's movements.
His arms slowly rose, and emerald-green light gathered at his fingertips. As his hand gestures changed, the light gradually intensified.
Yet the moment he unleashed the Evil Containment Wave, the light suddenly veered off its intended course, merely tracing a curve through the air without hitting any target.
"Damn it!" Tien Shinhan muttered through gritted teeth, his brow tightly furrowed, a flicker of frustration and anxiety crossing his eyes.
He knew that every use of the Evil Containment Wave consumed his precious life force, but the urgency within drove him to master the technique as quickly as possible.
The threat of King Piccolo hung like a sharp sword above his head, leaving him unable to rest easy. He had to grow stronger as quickly as possible to protect himself and his friends from harm.
He closed his eyes again, trying to recall every detail of Master Roshi performing the Evil Containment Wave.
Were his hand gestures not precise enough, or was his control of his power off? He pondered it repeatedly, trying to find the reason for his failure. Then he tried again, the light in his hands brighter this time, his expression more resolute.
The light shot out again, faster and more accurately. Although it still failed to strike perfectly, there was already clear improvement.
"Still not good enough!" Tien Shinhan remained dissatisfied with his performance.
Beside the fire, Tien Shinhan's figure looked all the more lonely and resolute in the firelight. He practiced continuously, giving his all with every attempt. The night deepened, the stars still shone, and his determination, like the stars filling the heavens, would never go out.
On a remote, nameless island, Kame House stood quietly. Sunlight filtered through the gaps between the leaves, scattering patches of light across the path in front of the house. This had been a peaceful haven beyond the cares of the world, yet now the atmosphere inside was unusually tense.
Son Goku's disappearance had left everyone burning with anxiety. Tien Shinhan had gone off alone to some unknown place to practice the Evil Containment Wave, leaving Yamcha as the only one still capable of fighting. Everyone inside waited anxiously, unease hanging in the air.
Just then, the sound of a live news broadcast suddenly came from the television. On the screen, King Dog looked deeply anxious as he spoke urgently to the camera.
"People of the world, I have news to share with you. Please gather in front of your televisions. I have been forced off the throne, and this world has fallen into King Piccolo's hands. Once this fellow becomes king, the world will head toward destruction. Someone, hurry! Destroy this despicable fellow!"
As he continued, King Dog's voice grew increasingly agitated, his eyes filled with panic and helplessness.
Hearing this sudden news, Bulma and the others in front of the television all looked shocked. Bulma gripped the remote tightly, her brow furrowed, unable to believe any of it.
"I believe I warned you not to speak without permission." Just then, a deep, commanding voice interrupted King Dog.
King Piccolo appeared on the screen, lifting King Dog by the throat with one hand, his eyes cold and merciless.
"You don't want to be killed yet, do you?" His icy voice sent a chill down the spine.
King Piccolo then slammed King Dog to the ground and turned toward the camera, his gaze blazing.
"Everyone in the world, listen carefully. I am your new king, King Piccolo. As for my power, you need only look at how I destroyed Castle to understand."
He then announced his ambitions.
"Now, let me tell you your new king's ambitions! First, I want you to know that what I hate most is justice and peace.
I have no intention of restraining or punishing my subjects.
What I mean is, you may unleash your desires however you please. The police profession is abolished. War, violence, murder-you are free to do any of it. Go right ahead!"
Yamcha clenched his fists, anger flashing in his eyes as he cursed King Piccolo on the television under his breath.
"What a bastard!"
As King Piccolo finished speaking, criminals around the world seemed to receive a signal to let loose and began destroying and looting everywhere. The police were utterly unable to withstand the sudden riots.
Training far away, Tien Shinhan heard the voice on the radio and felt an unprecedented sense of urgency. He knew that only by mastering the Evil Containment Wave would he have a chance of stopping this catastrophe.
Unable to bear the tragic scenes before her, Bulma switched off the television and sank to the floor in despair, clutching her head in both hands, her eyes full of helplessness and fear.
Just then, Launch gently patted Bulma's shoulder, trying to comfort her. "Don't worry. We still have Tien Shinhan. Things will be all right once he learns the Evil Containment Wave."
But Yamcha suddenly raised his head, worry flashing in his eyes. "But do you remember? Master Roshi once said that anyone who uses the Evil Containment Wave... will die!"
Silence fell over the room, worry written across everyone's face.
After several consecutive days of chaos, violence around the world grew increasingly intense, and people of justice stepped forward one after another to stop the wanton destruction.
Amid this storm of chaos, King Piccolo announced a chilling plan: he would destroy one city every day. His voice was cold and merciless, and with a casual wave of his hand, a powerful Ki Blast tore across the sky, hurtling into the distance.
Boom! With a tremendous explosion, a city was reduced to dust and ashes, leaving only billowing smoke and ruins. King Piccolo stood in the air, looking down upon the destruction and laughing arrogantly. "This is today's sacrifice."
In that barren stone forest, Tien Shinhan's figure looked particularly lonely.
After countless days and nights of arduous training, he had finally found the key to success through failure after failure.
Under his resolute gaze, the pebble in his hand was slowly enveloped by an invisible force and finally sealed successfully inside a small, crystal-clear bottle.
He shouted excitedly, "I finally did it!" His voice brimmed with irrepressible excitement and relief.
He wiped the beads of sweat from his forehead with the back of his hand, his expression firm and full of determination.
He strode toward the aircraft parked nearby, his firm footsteps echoing across the empty grounds.
As he started the aircraft, he took a deep breath and silently declared, I'm coming, King Piccolo! The aircraft's engines roared, carrying him toward that destination filled with uncertainty and danger-King Piccolo's palace.
Meanwhile, Son Goku had also undergone a grueling challenge at Korin Tower and finally obtained the Ultra Divine Water.
After he drank it all in one gulp, Master Korin immediately used magic to help him out of the jar.
Son Goku felt a tremendous power rapidly surging through his body. His muscles swelled, and his eyes shone with an unprecedented light. He was so excited that he nearly rushed out of the tower at once to seek revenge on King Piccolo.
"Wait!" Master Korin stopped him in time and casually summoned a vast Flying Nimbus.
Son Goku looked at the Flying Nimbus before him in delighted surprise, and Master Korin gestured for him to help himself.
Son Goku picked a small cloud and rubbed against it nostalgically, then said excitedly, "All right! He's over there! This time, I feel like I can beat him!" Standing on the Flying Nimbus, he sensed King Piccolo's location through his newfound power.
"You can even sense that?" Master Korin asked in surprise, inwardly shocked by Son Goku's transformation.
Son Goku nodded and said firmly, "Then I'm off, Master Korin and Yajirobe!"
Master Korin nodded. "We're leaving everything to you, Goku."
Yajirobe said with concern, "Be careful!"
Son Goku stood on the Flying Nimbus as it sped toward King Piccolo's location. In the sky, the Flying Nimbus left a long yellow trail, like a ray of hope cutting across the heavens.
On this journey toward the final battle, Son Goku's heart was filled with a longing for the showdown and uncertainty about the future, but his gaze was resolute, without any sign of retreat.
