After King Piccolo’s return, Tien Shinhan changed the course of events by defeating him and breaking his human limiter. He trained at Kami’s Lookout, sought the Fountain of Youth, and drank the Ultra Divine Water, ending the stretch stronger than Goku and considering how to draw out the water’s remaining effects.
Tien Shinhan endured the Eight Trigrams Furnace, mastered new techniques, and traveled with his friends to Planet Plant, where they helped the Tuffles fight the Saiyans. After growing stronger through a prolonged battle, Tien killed King Vegeta, and the Saiyans abandoned their attack.
Tien Shinhan and his friends gained new equipment and trained with Korin and North Kai before traveling to Planet Nymph. There they defeated Turles and destroyed the Tree of Might, with Tien Shinhan pushing his Kaioken to its limits.
Tien Shinhan and his companions traveled to Planet Namek to find the Wish Orbs and restore Planet Nymph, while training and helping defend the Namekians. After the Grand Elder unlocked their potential, they defeated the Ginyu Force, and Tien Shinhan rescued Krillin from Ginyu’s body-swapping ability.
Tien Shinhan defeated Frieza, broke through his limits, and developed a new martial arts realm while training alongside fighters from both timelines. After raising his power to three million, he stayed on Namek as Slug, Cooler, and King Cold arrived and began fighting over the planet.
Tien Shinhan’s group returned from Namek, trained, and traveled to the future timeline to confront the androids. They rescued Son Gohan and wounded Android 18, but Android 17 escaped with her as Son Gohan reunited with Son Goku.
Tien Shinhan helped Goku, Gohan, and Trunks defeat the androids and Cell in the Future Timeline, then organized a year of training in the Hyperbolic Time Chamber. The arc ended as Tien faced Goku, Gohan, and Trunks in a rematch, with their combined Triple Super Kamehameha rushing toward him.
Tien Shinhan and the other fighters defeated Perfect Cell, but ten Perfect Cells from different timelines appeared and forced Tien into a desperate battle. After absorbing his War God Spirit Bomb and refining his martial path, Tien awakened the Ultimate Path Dragon God Realm and destroyed the final two Cells, then headed back to the stronghold with Yamcha and Chiaotzu.
After returning from the Future Timeline, Tien Shinhan and his companions fought Garlic Jr. and Dabura’s forces as the Demon Realm invaded Earth. They defeated Dabura, left weaker demons alive for future martial artists, and began preparing to spread martial arts across Earth.
Tien Shinhan founded the Dragon Fist Martial Arts School and restored Earth before taking his friends to compete in the Galactic Martial Arts Representatives Tournament. Tien defeated Paigu Tang, while Goku faced Bojack in the semifinal and the Grand Kai moved to confront the revealed space pirate.
