Peter grinned. "Hey, little girl! I didn't expect to meet you here!"
"You, why are you here?!" She stood up and ran over, hugging him.
Peter smiled and hugged her, "I miss you too, Mayday." He let go of his hand and smiled, "It's a long story. Remember when you came to my place? Now almost the same thing has happened to me, so I have to ask you for help."
Mayday blinked. "You... how did you do it?"
Peter lowered his voice. "Reed, that arrogant guy thought he could handle everything, but he blew up. I chose to come here, and I acted like a hero before I left. You know, the same old thing."
"Mayday, who is this?" one of the blond boys asked. Peter noticed that everyone around him was looking over at this moment. Mayday is quite popular in school.
"This is..." Mayday tried to introduce, but got stuck.
"I'm her cousin, Bruce, Bruce Wayne." Peter smiled and waved, "I happened to be in town and just wanted to see how Mayday was doing."
A blond boy raised his eyebrows. "Bruce? Then why did Mayday call you Peter just now?"
Peter shrugged. "My middle name is Peter. It's actually the same name as her dad. I like Bruce, but she knows that calling me Peter will irritate me, so she calls me that."
"Okay." The blond boy narrowed his eyes.
"What about you?" Peter asked.
"I'm JJ." The other party replied warily.
"I'm Carol!" the ponytail girl said with a smile, "I didn't know your cousin was coming, Mayday!"
"Uh, yes, it's quite sudden." Mayday grabbed the bag, "I have to evacuate first, see you tomorrow."
Mayday pulled Peter away. "Everyone had a good time chatting! I hope Moose and his little friend find true love!" Peter shouted as he was being pulled away. The two boys who were quarreling were all blushing, and no one dared to look at the other.
After walking out of the door, Mayday let him go. Peter sighed, "I'm sorry to come to you so suddenly, but I really don't know who to look for."
"It's okay." She replied, "It's just... I never thought I'd see you again."
Peter laughed, "You sound a little disappointed."
"Because if I can still see you, it means that the world will be torn apart again!" Mayday called out, and then sighed, "Sorry, I've been a bit stressed lately."
Peter nodded. "That's understandable. Anyway, where is Spiral? He should be able to help me get back."
Mayday froze. "He is not here now. He... is missing."
Peter blinked. "Elaborate."
"He escaped from prison."
"Fuck." Peter groaned, "Wait...Reed! You said you also have Fantastic Four here, right? Is Reed here still alive?"
Mayday blinked. "Uh, alive. Do you want me to take you to find them?"
Peter nodded. "Please!"
"Okay." She looked around, "Follow me." The two quickly went into a dark alley and began to change clothes. Watching the "daughter" changing uniforms in front of her, Peter realized how absurd this world was.
After Mayday packed up, she looked back and saw that Peter was still in casual clothes. She looked up and down. "Aren't you going to change into your battle clothes?"
"No, I... my suit is in pieces." Peter laughed dryly, not telling the truth.
"Oh, no good." She scratched her head, "Then this will be difficult. You Silk-Shooter don't have one either, right?"
Peter shook his head. "No."
"Forget it, it's okay, I'll swing over and take you. Do you have anything to cover your face? Spider-Girl It's not a good idea to appear with Mayday·Parker's cousin."
Peter took out the red tablet and smiled mysteriously, "I have this."
"That thing can-" Before Mayday finished speaking, the tablet popped open and covered his face, turning into a red metal helmet, "--well, that's really cool."
"Thank you." Peter said, "Let's go!"
Mayday nodded, stepped forward, put her arms around his waist, and pulled him to her side. "Hold him tight." Before she finished speaking, she ejected Silk and jumped up from the ground.
"I'm going!" Peter shouted excitedly. He really missed this feeling. He resisted not shouting any more, so as not to attract attention. The city passed by quickly on both sides. The familiar street scene was less colorful, like a painting missing a few touches of color.
"Is this your city?" he shouted as she swung past a train. "To be honest, I don't like it."
Mayday laughed, "It doesn't like you either. Just don't think about staying for a long time!"
Peter laughed, "Why, don't you like your dad coming to visit?"
"First, you are not my dad, Bruce, don't even think about it. Second, I do have my own dad in this world, so don't always call yourself my dad, okay?"
"Oh, yes, I almost forgot. Can you drop by your dad's work? I really want to know what I will look like when I am old." By the way, I want to see the real Peter·Parker... and maybe have a chat with this legendary figure.
"No! Do you know how crazy my dad will be when he sees you?!"
"Okay, okay, obviously your adventurous temperament is up to you." Peter mocked, "Then you have to tell me one thing. Will I be bald?"
"No, you have a beard."
"Beard or goatee?"
"Goatee."
"Really? Who is he learning from? Tony·Stark?" Peter laughed.
Mayday also laughed, and they fell towards a building with a huge "5" marked on the side. "Wow, so the FF you said was not Fantastic Four, so that's what it meant."
"Yes, that's Fantastic Five." Mayday said, landing on the roof of the opposite building.
Peter was put down by her and asked, "Why don't you go in?"
"Oh, unlike your Earth, the people here are not my best friends. They know me, but they are not close friends. My father is familiar with them, but they don't know that I am his daughter."
"Why didn't you tell me?"
She shrugged. "If they knew, they'd expect me to be like him."
Peter nodded. "I understand, you want to be your own hero. That's understandable. After all, who wants to inherit a guy who has been wearing tights for his entire heroic career?"
Mayday sneered, "That's right."
"Then how can I ask them for help?"
"I was close enough just now and triggered the proximity sensor." She stretched out her finger. A blue-black figure flew out of the building and quickly landed in front of them.
Peter blinked. "Who is it?"
"That is Franklin·Richards." Mayday said, "Susan·Storm's son."
"Oh." Peter stared at the man, "Isn't he my son?"
"No! Why do you always have such thoughts?!"
Peter shrugged. "Just ask."
"Spider-Girl, it's great to meet again." Franklin smiled, then turned to Peter, narrowed his eyes, "Who are you?"
"I am her friend." Peter waved, "To be precise, I am her from another world, but in that world she became a boy, not a girl. There are many small differences, but the point is that I have to return to my own dimension. Can you help me?"
Franklin was stunned. "This... is a bit unexpected."
"That's right." Mayday hummed.
"Where is your combat uniform?" Franklin glanced at Peter's casual clothes.
Peter sighed and touched his neck, "It's torn. Anyway, I hope your Reed·Richards can help me." He asked, "You have Reed here? He shouldn't be dead, right?"
Franklin smiled, "No, he's pretty good. But... it's not that great either, but my dad is getting used to it."
"Wait... you are Reed's son?!" Peter pretended to be shocked. After all, there is no Franklin·Richards in his world.
Franklin nodded. "Yes. Didn't you say that your world is very similar to this one?"
Peter shook his head. "No, there is no Fantastic Five in my world, only Fantastic Four. And everyone is... much younger? Your parents were your age at my place, so I guess they are much older here, right?"
Franklin nodded. "That's right... you sounded like you knew my parents."
Peter nodded. "The Baxter Foundation of my world was hired by your mother, Susan. I work side by side with our team."
Franklin eyes widened. "Oh, really? It's really interesting."
Peter sneered, "You don't believe it, do you?"
Franklin smiled, "I don't believe it, sorry."
Peter shrugged. "It doesn't matter, here." He took out his mobile phone, dug out the photo album, and found a photo of himself wearing a battle suit with Fantastic Four. In the photo, Johnny and Ben hooked their shoulders, Reed held the camera with his elongated arms, Susan and Peter stood in the middle, she was a little closer than ordinary team members.
He turned the phone over. Franklin's eyes almost fell out. "Damn."
Peter laughed, "Are you convinced? Can you let me see Reed? Do you need more evidence? I can also tell you where Johnny hides the pornographic films."
"No, no need, this... this should be enough." Franklin swallowed dryly, "Wow, I never knew they could look so young."
"Me too, I was confused." Mayday said, "Did you know that Johnny also teased me? The first thing he said when I walked in was, 'Hey, baby, how are you?' It's so disgusting!"
"Wait a minute, uncle Johnny is teasing you?" Franklin couldn't believe it.
Peter suppressed a laugh, "Yes, he belongs to Teddy."
Franklin blinked. "Okay, I think I should take you in." Peter nodded and followed Franklin into the building. They climbed in through the balcony door, and the interior decoration was full of high-tech feeling.
"Okay, this is really new." Peter looked at the living room. There were high-grade boards and advanced equipment everywhere, there were no wrinkles on the sofa surface, and there was a TV as big as the entire wall.
"Welcome to Baxter Foundation." Franklin signaled, "There are usually more people here, but today is a holiday. The flu is spreading everywhere, and we don't want anyone to be infected."
Peter looked around. "My version is much cooler. Doctor Doom blew up our old place."
"Wait, Doctor Doom blew you up?" Franklin looked shocked, "No way! Doctor Doom has disappeared for fifteen years!"
"Different worlds, different Doctor Doom." Peter said in a low voice, "Believe me, if he is like you Doctor Doom, he is definitely a bitch."
"It does sound like Doctor Doom." A familiar rough voice sounded. Peter turned his head and saw Ben Gerry walking in. His left arm was replaced by a metal arm.
"Ben!" Peter's eyes lit up, "I'm so damn happy to see an acquaintance!"
Ben stopped and looked up and down. "Spider-Man?"
Peter smiled, "Oh, it doesn't count."
Franklin quickly told Ben the situation. Ben squinted and looked at Peter: "I don't believe it. You are not a kid. I know this voice too well. Is it you, Peter?"
Mayday and Peter froze at the same time. Peter smiled slowly, "Okay, I can't hide it from you in any world." He took off his mask and grinned at Ben, "Hey, Ben."
