Johnny was excited as soon as he heard it and agreed without saying a word.

When Peter drove the DMC-12 into the Baxter Building parking lot, Johnny's jaw almost dropped to the ground. "What?!" He rushed over, his eyes widened, "This is DeLorean?!"

"Yeah." Peter got out of the car and raised the corner of his mouth.

"How is that possible?!"

"My dad left it. My uncle gave it to me for my birthday." Peter patted the roof of the car, "I thought I should keep it at home. But this car is basically a pile of scrap metal now. Can you help?"

"Are you fucking kidding me?! You want me to help you modify a DeLorean?!" Johnny almost shouted.

"Then you are... rejecting?"

"No shit! One hundred percent agreement! One thousand agreement!" Johnny's eyes were almost glowing.

They loaded the car into the industrial elevator specially designed for Ben in the building and transported it to the entrance of Johnny's laboratory. But trouble came - the car was too wide and could not fit through the door.

"Hey, Stonehead!" Johnny shouted at the top of his lungs, "We need your help!"

"Don't fucking call me that! Or next time-" Ben walked to the elevator and got stuck mid-sentence, staring blankly at the silver-gray sports car, "Johnny, why do you have a time machine in the elevator?"

Peter grinned. "Mine. I asked Johnny to help upgrade it. Can you help us carry it in?"

Ben nodded, picked up the car like a toy, carefully adjusted the angle, and walked into the laboratory.

In the next few days, the three people were completely involved in the modification work. Johnny originally had more than a hundred crazy ideas, but most of them were suppressed by Peter and Ben. He did not want this car to breathe fire - this is Peter·Parker's daily car, not Spider-Man's tank.

They first removed the old fuel engine and replaced it with an electric engine designed by Peter and assisted by Johnny. The new engine was only a quarter of the original size, and the front compartment was directly used as a trunk. The engine was embedded in the center I bought a Arc Reactor that has been modified from Peter. In theory, this car can be used without worrying about running out of power for the next hundred years. I thought that the gearbox that broke down every now and then was meaningless, so I simply changed it to automatic transmission, which makes driving much easier.

Johnny then entered "Rampage Mode". He redid the entire suspension system and replaced it with self-designed "never puncture" tires. The windows and front guard were all replaced with bulletproof glass. The back seat space was also redesigned, and now you can sit in it and stretch your legs.

In terms of interior decoration, Peter decided to take the low-key luxury route. The dashboard was replaced with smooth mahogany, and a microcomputer central control system was embedded under the air conditioner, which can monitor the engine and all vehicle status data. He also frantically installed a set of top-quality audio. When the volume was turned up to the maximum for the first test, Su heard it from her room, rushed down and cursed the two guys who woke her up.

"Hey, Peter." Johnny handed over a drawing while they were wiring, "Look at this?"

Peter looked down and was stunned. "Brother..."

"Listen to me--"

"Dude!"

"Just tell me whether you want it or not?"

Peter was silent for a few seconds, then smiled, "... Bro."

After that, they secretly installed four small Repulsor Cannons in the bottom of the car, and a large one was hidden in the rear of the car, cleverly disguised as a spare tire rack. Ben kept asking them what they were doing, but the two refused to say whether they were alive or dead.

Finally, the moment the system was activated, everyone held their breath. "Welcome back, Peter." An electronically synthesized male voice lit up on the central control screen.

Johnny whistled. "It actually has voice recognition."

Ben rarely agreed, "Stop talking nonsense, go out and give it a try!"

The car was transported back to the parking lot by the elevator. Peter sat in the driver's seat, pressed the start button, and pressed his thumb on the center of the steering wheel to complete the fingerprint verification. Doc's system tone sounded again, "Attention, a weight abnormality has been detected. Dynamic compensation is in progress. The vehicle speed is limited to 80 kilometers per hour."

Ben sat down in the passenger seat, and the whole car slumped obviously to the right. Fortunately, the suspension system intervened immediately and stabilized the car body. Johnny had no choice but to get into the back seat aggrievedly, mumbling incessantly.

Peter drove the car out of the basement and drove into the street of New York. There was not much traffic in the evening, but all the passers-by looked at him. He didn't mind - who doesn't know now? Peter·Parker and Fantastic Four mixed together? The music was playing loudly. Johnny slumped in the back seat wearing sunglasses and sighed, "This is called life."

The car drove onto the bridge leading to Queens, the wind poured in through the windows, and the engine was as quiet as a cat. Peter turned around in front and drove back.

"Hey, do you want to try that?" Johnny came over and gently opened the cover under the handbrake button, revealing a red button inside.

Ben turned his head warily. "What is that?"

"Little surprise." Peter smiled and took a photo.

Suddenly, there was a low buzzing sound from the bottom of the whole car. "Airplane mode has been activated." Doc's prompt tone was terrifyingly calm. The next second, the car body floated smoothly, rising higher and higher.

"What the hell is this!" Ben gripped the armrest tightly, his eyes almost popping out of his head.

"Don't be a coward, Ben, learn from the birds!" Peter stepped on the accelerator, and the large Repulsor Cannon at the rear of the car suddenly exerted force, and the car suddenly jumped out of the bridge, drawing an arc and shooting into the sky.

Johnny unbuckled his seat belt without saying a word: "Let's compete?"

"Stay with me to the end!" Peter shouted.

Johnny pushed the door open and rolled out. It turned into a ball of flames in mid-air and swept forward. Peter held the steering wheel tightly and drove hard behind. The two of them flew along the sky above East River.

When they landed quietly back to the parking lot, Su was already waiting at the door with a dark face. The whole city was going crazy saying "Fantastic Four built a flying car", and Su's phone number was bombarded by investors. She grabbed Johnny and Peter and scolded them for a whole hour, and finally from Peter wanted to take away the complete design drawing of the electric engine, saying that it "can at least appease the market." Reed liked this flying car very much, and announced on the spot that he would do a similar small summer project. Peter vaguely guessed what it was - it was probably some kind of more exaggerated aircraft.

At the end of July, Peter finally drove this brand-new legally modified car that still quietly retained its flying function on the road and returned to Queens's home.

"Peter--Where did you get the money?!" Uncle Ben's voice was trembling.

"Fantastic Four had a lot of unused parts and scraps over there, so I asked Johnny and Ben to help me fight it out. It looked bluffing, but it didn't actually cost much." Peter is already very good at telling lies with his eyes open.

Uncle Ben was doubtful, but couldn't help being excited and insisted on Peter taking him for a ride and demonstrating all the functions.

Then Peter picked up Felicia. She wore a pair of jeans and a leather jacket. She leaned against the door and looked at him and DeLorean behind her. She raised her eyebrows and said, "Hey, you have finally become a nerd?"

"I am." Peter smiled and opened the door for her.

They drove around in a circle, and on the way Liz called and asked Felicia to go shopping. Peter frowned - this was a good opportunity to show off the car. So the two turned around and drove directly to the door of Liz's house. Liz almost ran out at a sprint speed. "Dad! Come and see!!"

A middle-aged man walked out slowly. The moment he saw DeLorean, his whole figure was shocked. "Parker, what on earth did you do to it?!"

That afternoon, Peter was dragged by Liz's father and explained everything inside and out of the car. The man was as excited as a kid who got into Disney, and in the end he begged to drive a lap himself. Liz also begged, and Peter reluctantly agreed.

In the evening, Peter went to pick up Mary Jane. Mary's first reaction after seeing the car was that he was angry that he was the last person to be notified. So Peter invited a few girls to eat spicy hot dogs at a street shop that night.

"Wow, it's so spicy." Mary choked and fanned.

"I told you not to swallow it all." Peter rolled his eyes.

Felicia took a bite elegantly. "The key is moderation, Mary, don't be stuffy."

Peter coughed meaningfully. "Yes, you can't be bored. Although I usually don't recommend this."

Felicia's ears instantly turned red, and he slapped him on the back of the head with his backhand. "Shut your mouth!" Mary and Liz pretended not to understand in a tacit understanding.

Liz suddenly patted the roof of the car. "By the way, do you know who likes this car the most?" She paused, "Qin."

When Qin was mentioned, the atmosphere was quiet for a few seconds. Mary sighed, "I don't know how she is doing."

"She said it's good, but a little lonely." Felicia shrugged, "It's just her, a few adults, and a boy named Scott over there. They said they would recruit new students in the future, but there's no guarantee when."

Peter took a bite of the hot dog and said vaguely, "How about we go see her?"

Mary was stunned for a moment. "Huh?"

"What's wrong? It only takes two hours to drive there. You can go back and forth in the same day."

"Peter You are such a genius!" Liz almost jumped up, "How about leaving on Saturday?"

Several people had no objections. Uncle Ben and Aunt May - Aunt May was worried about Peter wanting to run long distances alone at such a young age, but Uncle Ben persuaded her and finally agreed. He was relieved. Of course, Peter wanted to see Qin not all out of friendship. He also wanted to see with his own eyes what Xavier was doing. He had never trusted the bald man - even if Patrick Stewart's acting skills were more explosive, it was impossible to change his mind.

At six o'clock in the morning on Saturday, the girls arrived at Peter's house one after another. Peter's luggage was stuffed with a lot of spare clothes and food, in case Spider-Man's identity suddenly needed to be dispatched. Mary was the first to arrive, dressed smartly, and threw the bag into the front cabin.

"Morning, red-haired girl."

"Morning, Laohu."

They picked up Liz, and then went to pick up Felicia. Felicia wanted to sit in the passenger seat as soon as they got on, Mary raised his middle finger. "I shouted first." Felicia curled his lips, but didn't care too much.

DeLorean drove out of New York quietly in the sparse traffic in the early morning. Once on the highway, it was as steady as sliding against the ground. Music was flowing in the back seat, and the four young people chatted one after another.

"You should really give it a name." Felicia poked his head from the back seat.

"Don't it already have a name?" Liz answered, "DeLorean is the name."

Peter smiled, "It already has a name." He called out, "Right, Doc?"

"Correct, Peter." The electronic sound in the car sounded softly.

"Holy shit, your car can talk!" Mary was so shocked that he took a picture of the center console.

The two-hour drive flew by in a relaxed manner. Soon, the car stopped in front of the gate of the Xavier Mansion. Peter pressed the intercom.

"Hey, is anyone here?"

"Who--Peter?"

The fierce face of Logan was shown in the camera.

"Hey, Logan, how are you doing?"

"What are you doing here, boy?"

Peter turned sideways to reveal the three girls behind him. "Let's see our friends. Open the door, old wolf, please."

Logan grunted and pressed the button. The heavy door slowly opened.

The car drove along the wide driveway, and Liz lay by the window, eyes wide open. "This is where Qin studies? No wonder she adapted very quickly."

In front of the main house, the door was suddenly pushed open, and Qin with red hair rushed out. "You guys!!" she screamed and rushed towards her. Liz hugged her, her eyes were red. "I miss you so much!" Qin hugged all the girls one by one, and when she finally stood in front of Peter, her face turned red quietly. "Hi, Peter."
