Darkness.

Peter Can't understand, what's going on? Why is it so empty, but I feel so peaceful.

He touched his back, and there was something hard underneath, and something was wrong. He couldn't move his arms. He touched his skin, and there was something covering his lips, and he couldn't move. It was like he was nailed in place, unable to do anything.

You have to open your eyes, you have to figure out where you are.

Gradually, there was light.

His eyelids were as heavy as lead, and the ceiling gradually became clearer. At the same time, there was the ticking sound of the heartbeat monitor. He could not see anywhere except directly above. With his neck fixed, he rolled his eyes downward and found himself lying on a hospital bed.

Looking around, there was a table covered with flowers. He hated flowers. He would rather they sent comic books. Anger surged into his heart, and he remembered what happened - Doom, damn Doom.

He lowered his head and saw that his body was in pieces, his feet were twisted at weird angles. His neck was completely black, and his arms, my God, the wrists seemed to be broken.

He tried to feel his whole body, his fingers could still move, but the rest - he looked at his legs, he couldn't feel his legs! He couldn't feel...

Panic began to spread. Tears welled up, no, no! This is not fair! He did good things, he was a fucking superhero! He helped others! Why Doom?! Why did he Doom?!

His pain turned into anger. Pure, undiluted anger. He wanted Doom to die, wanted him to fall to pieces at his feet. He needed... he needed his body to be intact. He needed to become strong again. And he had an idea, and he knew exactly how to do it.

He looked around. There was a note on the table, and many notes, all wishing him recovery. He raised his hand, and a sharp pain hit him. No! He would never stop just because of this pain! He had to do it!

He touched the edge of a note and pulled it off. He looked around for a pen, great - wait, he looked sideways, and there was a piece of pen stuck on the edge of the medical record folder hanging beside the bed.

He felt that his body was weakening and he was about to fall into coma again. He had to hurry up. Unfortunately, his hands were slow and the pain was fighting against him. His fingertips could barely touch the tip of the pen, and he could not pull it out. Instead, he pushed it in, and it was about to slip off.

He sighed, closed his eyes, concentrated his mind, let his fingertips touch the penholder, activated his power, and stuck it. He slowly pulled it out, held it tightly in his hand, and smiled, victory!

He put his hand down on the note, and the hardest part was done. He sighed and started writing with probably the worst handwriting in his life.

"Su: Mutant Spider Project, password: Felicia·Parker A9+ Logan's blood. Quick!"

That's right, his password is Felicia. Just sue him.

He prayed that Su would understand his message. She and Richard were his only hope. He knew there would be people who questioned why he was working on this project in the first place, but now was not the time.

There's also the issue of his blood becoming too dangerous to use, but he's hoping the regenerative powers in Logan's blood can heal him, if only to lessen the damage a little. For now, the rewards far outweigh the risks.

He put his head back on the pillow. The slight movement just now made his neck hurt terribly. He stretched out his hand and touched the nurse call button. He pressed it over and over again and slowly closed his eyes.

Just when the door was pushed open suddenly and several people rushed in, he felt sleepy grasping him.

"What happened?!"

"He pressed the call button! He woke up."

"Now he's passed out again."

"Wait, what is that?"

"Inform the director, he needs to know about this."

He fell asleep again, but this time he was aware of his existence. It was like something was slowly dragging him out. His consciousness was slowly pulled out of the abyss of coma, and he felt something surging in his body.

Then, his lungs felt like they were on fire, like acid had been poured into them. His body might have twitched, he wasn't sure. But he recognized the feeling, and there was only one thought in his mind, "Thank you, Sue."

When he opened his eyes again, he felt different. There was no restraint. His body was whole again. He put down his arms to support himself and looked around. His neck was healed, his legs were healed, and his body was healed. It was as if the pain had never existed.

He looked around. There was still an intravenous drip hanging on his arm. Hum, it was no longer needed. He pulled out all the wires from his body, and the alarm immediately sounded. It wouldn't be long before they would run in. He stood up, stretched his waist and hips, and felt stronger, which was good.

The door was suddenly knocked open, and Richard was the first to rush in. His face was haggard, with dark circles in his eyes, as if he was exhausted. He looked at Peter, as if he couldn't believe what he saw. Peter smiled, "Hi, Dad."

"Peter!" He shouted, hugging Peter, leaning on his shoulder and crying, "I'm worried to death! I thought... I thought I lost you too."

"If you want to get rid of me, dad, you have to work harder." Peter hugged him back, and that title became much easier to blurt out now. This man once tried to knock over Doom with a fire extinguisher. He may not be his biological father, but he loves him like a father. And Peter found that she also loved him.

Soon a few more people arrived and began to examine him. Richard--Dad was actually his attending doctor, who nursed him back to health. He sat next to Peter and watched them examine him and declare him completely healthy. This was simply incredible.

Dad sighed and stood in front of Peter, who was lying on the hospital bed looking up at him. They forced him back to the bed and wanted him to stay in bed for a while.

"Your blood easily accepted Mutant Gene," he said while recording on the tablet. "Everything went according to your notes. Su injected Logan's blood into the radioactive gas. The gas was prepared exactly according to the specifications in your notes. I still can't believe that your blood has such... side effects."

"Yes, indeed." Peter looked over his shoulder at the nurse who was removing the drip and ECG monitor, "But you'd better not make this kind of thing too public, Dad."

He noticed his gaze and smiled, "S.H.I.E.L.D. has taken care of it, you don't have to worry about them."

"S.H.I.E.L.D. It's not as safe as we thought," Peter looked at the faces of the nurses and silently wrote down, just in case, "It's always good to be careful."

Richard smiled, "That's right. Don't worry, I didn't let anyone get your blood or any medical details, so I will be your doctor myself, not anyone else."

Peter breathed a sigh of relief, "If it is known... it will not trigger an arms race, it will directly trigger a war."

"Yes, it will." Richard put down the note and looked at him, "This leads to my next question: Why did you want to study this in the first place?"

"I need to find out what happened to my body after Drew's blood was injected into my body." This is the truth. "I didn't intend to do anything else." This is false. He just wanted to copy other people's abilities.

Richard sighed, "Well, luckily you did it. To be honest, when Su saw the project you were working on, we were worried about whether you wanted to pursue power crazily or something."

Peter grinned. "Don't worry, Dad. By the way, where are we?"

"Avengers Tower," Richard explained, "Tony insists on using this place. He has brought the best equipment to you. Now you are the only patient on the whole floor."

No wonder there is no hospital smell. "That's right. If there were other people in the same ward, it would be a bit embarrassing to explain how I recovered so quickly, right?"

He smiled, "That's right. Anyway, you were in a coma for almost a week. We cast that gas on you two days ago. It took you a day to adapt, and another day for the power of Logan to fully take effect and cure you. How do you feel now?"

Peter clenched his fists. "Very strong." He sighed and suddenly smelled something. He sniffed the air. "What is that smell?"

Dad raised his eyebrows. "What?"

"I can smell something," Peter breathed, "It smells good, like strawberry. There is also some sour smell, like wine stains, expensive cigars and... coffee?"

At this moment, the door opened, and Logan and Qin walked in. Peter was stunned for a moment, then smiled, "Hey, you two! Long time no see!"

"Peter!" Jean shouted and rushed to his side. She threw herself on him, put her arms around his neck, and hugged him tightly, "Oh, thank God you're okay!"

"I told you he can't die, Qin, it will take several hours for the healing factor to kick in." Logan said in a rough voice.

"I'm fine, Jean." Peter told her. She slowly stepped away. He met her blue eyes and knew immediately that she was reading his mind. 'I promise, I'm fine.'

'You don't feel good,' she responded mentally, 'you feel... angry.'

He nodded, 'Doom, he almost killed me, of course I'm angry. We'll talk about it later, I promise.' He looked away from her and looked at Logan: "Thank you for doing this, Logan, I know it's not fair to ask you this -"

"--Save it, kid," Logan raised his hand, "Before you and your chatty mouth appeared, I didn't even know my real name. In my opinion, a few drops of blood are nothing."

Peter smiled, "Thank you." He turned to Qin: "I guess you ran over as soon as you heard the news?"

Qin's face turned red. "Uh, yes, you are one of my best friends."

"Run? Ha!" Logan laughed strangely, "She also wants to use Mind Stone control to force me to come!"

"What?!" Peter glared at Qin.

"He looked like he was going to refuse!" Qin defended herself.

Peter blinked and turned to Logan: "Really?"

He shrugged. "Someone comes to me and asks me for blood. Of course I have to think about it first."

Peter nodded. "It makes sense." He turned to Qin and flicked her nose. "You are not allowed to use Mind Stone to control people! Do you hear me?! Unless the other person is the kind of bastard who takes pleasure in torturing little boys and girls, that is the only exception."

Qin smiled, "Okay, it's a deal."

Peter smiled and turned to Richard: "What did you tell Uncle Ben and Aunt May?"

"I said there was an accident in the laboratory and you were injured," Richard sighed, "They insisted on coming to see you, but I told them that you were in the intensive care unit and could not be visited. Although you are fine now, I don't know what to say to them."

Peter chuckled, "We will find a way." He slowly became serious. "Where are the others? How about Reed and Ben?"

"It's only been an hour since I regained consciousness, and I'm already worried about others," Logan snorted, "The last thing I heard, they are all fine."

"Tony arrived when Doom... hurt you." Dad said. Suddenly, Peter saw the medical equipment on the table begin to float. He immediately grabbed Qin's hand. The madness in her eyes subsided, and the things slowly fell back to their original places.

"I'm sorry." she whispered.

"I'm fine, Qin." Peter smiled back, then turned to Richard again. "Then what?"

"He fought with Doom and lost about ten sets of armor in the process. Doom flew away. Tony wanted to chase you, but then found that you were seriously injured. He brought you back, Bruce·Banner stabilized you. Captain America chased Doom into the international sea. Unfortunately, he did... something strange, and then he... disappeared into thin air."

"Disappeared out of thin air?" Peter looked shocked.

Richard nodded. "Yes."

'Magic,' Peter immediately realized, 'Great, he will still die Magic.' He sighed, "Okay, what happened next?"
