Background / History

Xiao Wu lived in the Star Dou Great Forest with her mother, Ah Rou, and her childhood companions Da Ming and Er Ming. When Spirit Hall launched a Soul Hunting Operation, Ah Rou sacrificed herself to protect Xiao Wu and became Bibi Dong's Seventh Spirit Ring; Xiao Wu escaped using her innate Teleportation ability. 23 24

Overwhelmed by grief and hatred toward Spirit Hall, Xiao Wu decided to transform into a human. She intended both to seek revenge for Ah Rou and to avoid facing the dangerous 100,000-Year Heavenly Tribulation as a Soft Bone Rabbit. 24

Soon after transforming, Xiao Wu followed the irresistible alchemy fragrance of Ning Bei's Pill Pagoda and encountered Ning Bei, Ning Fengzhi, and Gu Rong. Faced with the choice of joining the Seven Treasure Glazed Tile Sect or being killed for her Spirit Bone, she chose the sect and promised not to betray it. 47

Ning Bei's Pill Pagoda became central to her new life: it could store her despite her transformed state, and its fragrance greatly accelerated her cultivation.
