During the few days he spent at home, Li Ge quietly digested the memories of this life.
Perhaps because he had been struck by Purple Heaven Divine Thunder, Li Ge was a true genius in this life. Not only did he have unparalleled talent in fields such as electronics and mechanics, biochemistry, and physics, but he had also used his spare time to bring his sculpture and painting skills up to a professional level.
For some reason, throughout his childhood in this life, Li Ge had always held an extraordinary interest in the arts, which went hand in hand with imagination and creativity.
But he obviously could not try every art form and bring each one up to a certain standard.
So, in the end, he chose painting and sculpture, two common art forms that demanded immense imagination and creativity.
Of course, this also had something to do with those being the two art forms that interested him most.
Over the previous dozen or so years, these interests might have been perfectly ordinary hobbies. At most, other people would praise his exceptional talent in those areas.
But ever since he had witnessed that Mutant's awakening, and the shock had broken through the mystery of the womb, Li Ge had gradually discovered some wondrous changes taking place within him.
Over the past week, Li Ge had vaguely sensed that whenever he painted or sculpted, he was always left with a feeling of something unfinished.
It was like a river surging forward, only for the vast, boundless ocean to vanish without a trace just as the river was about to flow into its deep, mysterious waters.
Li Ge had clearly noticed this the very first time he experienced that feeling.
He suddenly remembered his complaint before his rebirth: he had wished for a revolutionary Mutant protagonist who could overturn the Marvel Universe.
An intriguing thought immediately occurred to him. Perhaps his complaint had come true in the form of himself.
But thinking it over carefully, that was perfectly normal!
How was a transmigrator supposed to get by in the myriad worlds these days without a couple of tricks up his sleeve?
Besides, I wasn't sent transmigrating by a truck. I was struck by tribulation lightning while watching someone undergo a heavenly tribulation. Those tricks up my sleeve had better be big and round.
So, when Li Ge noticed these changes in himself, connected them to the simple, unadorned logic of Mutants awakening when subjected to a shock, and factored in the shock that had allowed him to break through the mystery of the womb, there was nothing more to say. He had probably awakened his own Mutant ability.
He wanted to gain a thorough understanding of this ability, which had awakened without much commotion and had caused no mutations or uncontrollable phenomena that he could detect in himself.
Throughout the week, Li Ge had kept trying to grasp the specific form his ability took through painting and sculpture.
The additional sculptures on the shelves and the paintings tucked away in the drawers were the products of those attempts.
The facts proved that there was nothing wrong with his thinking. Although he had never once truly used his ability, he had already grasped the form it took.
Li Ge now fully understood the fundamental nature of his ability-design! He could design intangible abilities or specific things.
But that was not the most important part. What mattered most was that the abilities he designed could be used by other people! Surely no one could fail to understand what that meant? It meant infinite possibilities!
When Li Ge truly confirmed exactly what his ability did, he went through a burst of wild joy, then calmed down and made up his mind. I'm going to be that revolutionary Mutant who overturns the Marvel Universe!
Li Ge fully recognized that his ability had destined him for an extraordinary future. And the situation of Mutants already meant that he could not simply look after himself and stay out of it.
If he wanted to change the current situation of Mutants and live freely, without restraint, in the Marvel Universe-where superheroes and supervillains appeared one after another, and all kinds of technology, magic, superpowers, mutations, and gods were stirred together into one great mess-he would have to make full use of his ability.
Before overturning the world, Li Ge needed to secure adequate guarantees for his personal safety as soon as possible.
Ever since confirming exactly what his ability did, he had been considering what sort of ability he should design for himself first.
It was not that he did not want to design all the varied, powerful abilities from the films, television shows, anime, and novels of his previous life in one go and give them to himself.
It was simply that, although his design ability held infinite possibilities, there was still one small problem-every design required energy to activate.
And right now, Li Ge clearly did not have any such energy. All he currently possessed was his own physical and mental energy.
He was still only flesh and blood. Even if his naturally powerful soul, a result of his rebirth, made his mental energy powerful as well, he still could not design some tremendously powerful ability right off the bat.
The question Li Ge was considering now was what kind of ability he should design first that would ensure his safety, let him fight back in an emergency, and, most importantly, help solve his shortage of energy.
In fact, as soon as Li Ge had confirmed his ability, he had already decided what sort of design he truly wanted. The idea had come to him while he was painting.
As someone who enjoys lying flat, I don't need any unbelievably powerful abilities unless they're necessary.
What do I need? To stay alive. To keep people outside, or the world, from affecting me. A self-sufficient place suited to lying flat!
Then the answer is already clear. The memories of my previous life have automatically sent it to my brain.
That's right! What could possibly compare to Minecraft!
An independent world, rules fully integrated with the player, each dependent on the other, comprehensive logistical support, infinite possibilities, a digitized body-a perfect choice!
Aren't there plenty of dimensional demon gods in the Marvel Universe? What difference would one more demon god like me make?
But I don't need to copy Minecraft completely, either. My ability is design, not copying. I can design this dimension to look however I want. Minecraft is only a reference template.
Reality had now told Li Ge that he could not design himself into a demon god with his own dimension all at once.
No matter how wonderful the future might be, he still needed a basic ability sufficient to get him through his early period of weakness. And today, he had arrived at a clear answer for what that foundation would be.
