In the Marvel Universe, what ability let someone hit hard, take a beating, and absorb energy?
For most people, the one that left the deepest impression had to be the energy absorption of the Mutant Black King, Sebastian Shaw!
He could absorb all kinds of energy, including electrical, thermal, kinetic, and nuclear energy. He could also attack by releasing energy or using it to directly strengthen his body, and even use energy to keep himself eternally young.
This ability perfectly met Li Ge's needs.
But-and there was always a but-the Black King's ability could not defend against psychic attacks.
This was no small problem. Across all sorts of fictional works, who knew how many incredibly powerful people had fallen to their enemies' psychic abilities?
Looking at it another way, psychic energy was also a form of energy. Being unable to absorb it was not just a flaw in the ability, but a waste of energy as well.

Then how should I modify and redesign the Black King's ability to meet my needs now?
First came the indispensable ability to absorb psychic energy, which he had already considered thoroughly. Next, it was time to put his imagination and creativity to work.
The Black King's energy absorption did not permanently strengthen his body. This was evident from how, after Professor X took control of his mind and prevented him from actively using his ability, Magneto easily pierced his formerly invulnerable body with a coin.
This was unacceptable to Li Ge, so it had to change.
He would change it so that absorbed energy could slowly and permanently strengthen his body, while gradually bringing his soul up to the same level of strength as his body, thus achieving dual cultivation of body and soul.
And thinking of dual cultivation of body and soul inevitably brought to mind the upper, middle, and lower dantians of immortal cultivation systems.
Then should I also design a space in my body to store energy, like a dantian, or design it directly within my soul?
He could be certain that all his abilities would be things he designed in the future. His foundation was his design ability.

However, this meant changing the order in which he strengthened his body and soul. He would have to strengthen his soul first, then his body. Still, that would not matter, since under dual cultivation of body and soul, both would be strengthened in tandem.
He only needed to design this divinity so that it would slowly absorb energy and grow stronger within his soul, while opening up a space inside it that would continually grow along with it. But that could not be the end of it.
As mentioned earlier, Li Ge's true goal was to design a "Minecraft" and become a new dimensional demon god-an overhauled version of "Minecraft," of course.
So this divinity, overhauled from the Black King's energy absorption, also had to serve that goal, and a world undoubtedly needed many things.
First was matter. This was easy enough: in the beginning, he could collect water and soil from uninhabited areas to fill the Divinity Space. Later, when conditions allowed, he could collect unclaimed meteorites or stars from the vast universe. If all else failed, he could use energy to turn the immaterial into the material.
Second were the world's rules, which would need careful design. But with "Minecraft" as a reference, he only needed to slowly inscribe the rules he wanted into the Divinity Space over time.
Then came information about all kinds of things. As for information about various things, the "Minecraft" of his previous life had been a virtual world, with no need to consider actual circumstances. Now that he was in a real world, he certainly could not be careless.
So he needed the divinity to scan and record information about whatever he wanted.
To sum up, he needed to design a divinity based on the Black King's energy absorption that could absorb psychic energy, permanently strengthen body and soul, and contain a growing space capable of collecting matter, having rules inscribed within it, and scanning and recording information.
Looking at it this way, isn't this just a massively weakened version of a Creation Divinity?
Still, that did not matter. He had hardly any energy now anyway, so even if he designed this divinity, he would not be able to fully unleash its abilities right away.
Collecting energy, inscribing rules, and scanning and recording information would all take time and have to be done gradually.
