The power of his demon transformation sent excitement surging through Cyclops.
As for his demonic appearance, Cyclops did not mind. After all, this was only a transformation ability that he could freely activate and deactivate.
Besides, the information in the orb of light had explained why Li Ge had designed it this way.
He felt that Li Ge was right. His optic blasts really did cause tremendous destruction every time.
But before, they had been uncontrollable. Now, he could control them.
He could finally control the demon inside his eyes!
At that thought, Cyclops unconsciously touched the empty space around his eyes. During his transformation, the energy had burned away his glasses.
He could finally "open his eyes and see the world"!
As he thought back on everything that had happened, the three tomoe in his eyes, which had become Sharingan, began spinning faster.
He heard Phoenix's anxious questions and, coming back to his senses, quickly reined in the energy around him, but did not change back.
After all, his clothes had already burned away. He could hardly go naked in front of them, could he?
"Jean, don't worry! I'm fine. I was just testing the abilities Li Ge designed for me."
Cyclops explained his situation as he walked toward Li Ge and the others.
He did not want Phoenix to displease Li Ge and cause a rift between them and him.
He was just about to thank Li Ge when a fist suddenly came at his chest from the side.
His Sharingan, which he had yet to deactivate, instantly detected the movement.
He instinctively raised a hand to block. With barely any effort and only a slight movement, he caught the fist firmly.
Taking a closer look, he saw that Wolverine had thrown the punch.
When Cyclops had walked over, Wolverine, with his beastlike instincts, had immediately sensed an intense threat from him.
Wanting to test him, he had launched a surprise punch without warning Cyclops.
He had not expected Cyclops to catch his fist so effortlessly.
"What are you doing, Logan?"
The Professor noticed Wolverine's little move.
"Professor, I just wanted to test Scott's strength now."
Wolverine withdrew his fist, spread his hands, shrugged, and raised his eyebrows.
"Logan, you seem to have gotten a little weak. I barely used any strength just now!"
Cyclops held his fingers a tiny distance apart, taking a rare opportunity to tease Wolverine.
"Whoa~ Scott, you look exactly like a demon out of mythology now!"
"Is this what your eyes look like? They look great. Very cool!"
Meanwhile, Storm and Phoenix had already come forward to meet Cyclops.
Phoenix tentatively touched the armor on Cyclops's body, while Storm studied his eyes.
"Jean, this is the demon transformation Li Ge designed for me. It's just an appearance. I haven't really turned into a demon."
"Ororo, these are called Sharingan. Li Ge designed them for me too. They represent the desires in my heart."
Cyclops explained the changes to his body and eyes to them in turn.
The slight upturn of his lips revealed the joy he could not hide.
"Professor, what do you think? Are you satisfied with the appearance I designed for Scott?"
Li Ge stood beside the Professor's wheelchair, one hand resting lightly on its handle, and could not resist bending down to ask his opinion.
Watching the X-Men interact, the Professor gently pressed his lips together.
How long had it been since they had been this relaxed?
The plight of mutants had always weighed heavily on their minds.
It seemed that Li Ge's arrival and his abilities had really allowed them to breathe a sigh of relief.
"Li Ge, you did very well."
"Although Scott has never said anything about it, I know his eyes have always been a thorn in his heart."
"Thank you so much for helping him resolve the problem with his eyes and designing such powerful abilities for him."
The Professor's words were filled with concern for Cyclops and gratitude toward Li Ge. Even his gaze softened a little.
"Haha, Professor, you don't need to thank me. I just wanted to design a perfect creation, and Scott happened to have that potential."
Li Ge responded modestly to the Professor's thanks, though the broad smile on his face hardly matched that modesty.
After exchanging a few words with Phoenix and the others, Cyclops walked past them and came straight up to Li Ge, a radiant smile on his faintly glowing face.
"Professor!"
After greeting the Professor, Cyclops let the smile fade from his face. His expression became solemn as he looked earnestly into Li Ge's eyes.
"Li Ge, thank you so much for giving me a new lease on life!"
"I don't have anything right now that can express my gratitude. If you ever need me to do anything, please don't hesitate to ask!"
Cyclops's solemn face was full of earnestness, his words firm and decisive, without the slightest pause.
Li Ge sensed his sincerity, but did not really take it to heart.
After all, what could he possibly need Cyclops's help with that he could not accomplish himself?
He had simply wanted to design a good creation.
Still, he accepted Cyclops's thanks. Whatever the case, the help he had given Cyclops was real.
Off to the side, Wolverine rubbed his head, looking at Li Ge as though he wanted to say something. But after glancing at the Professor, he silently folded his arms and stood aside again.
Storm had no problems she needed Li Ge's help to resolve, so she simply watched Li Ge and Cyclops with a smile.
Phoenix, however, was different. She had always hoped to resolve the problem of her powers easily going out of control.
After Cyclops finished thanking him, she impatiently squeezed in beside Cyclops, her hands repeatedly clenching and relaxing in front of her chest.
She pressed her lips tightly together, her beautiful eyes looking expectantly at Li Ge.
"Jean, your situation is a little unusual. I need to give it some careful thought."
Before Phoenix could speak, Li Ge had already set the tone regarding her problem.
"Hmm?"
Hearing Li Ge's words, the Professor had a bad feeling.
After all, he had once felt how powerful the force within Phoenix was.
"Li Ge, is there something wrong with Jean?"
Cyclops was even more puzzled than the Professor. Li Ge had easily resolved his problem and even designed a set of powerful abilities for him.
"Kid, don't tell me you just don't want to help?"
Wolverine was as blunt as ever.
"Li Ge, is there some difficulty? Would you like us to help think of a solution?"
But some of them remained clearheaded, such as Storm.
Ever since Li Ge had spoken, Phoenix had stood there without saying a word.
Could even an Omega-level Mutant like Li Ge not help me?
