Arc 28The Solar System’s New Guardians
Li Ge welcomed Carol Danvers into a sparring challenge, brought David and James back from thousands of years in an illusory world, and declined to let his allies use reincarnation as a shortcut. As the Skrulls and Earth chose peaceful coexistence, Li Ge’s influence spread through Knowhere and the Zombie World’s collapsing timeline became the subject of a proposed trade with Loki.
- Li Ge granted the Skrulls the right to guard the Solar System for a hundred years in exchange for a drop of blood from every Skrull, while Carol Danvers arrived at the shrunken Solar System.
- Li Ge gathered his allies to test themselves against Carol, whose fight with Tony ended evenly before Scott, Jean, and Logan each faced her in turn.
- Li Ge found David and James in the Samsara Realm and discovered that they had lived thousands of years of reincarnations in an illusory world guided by his avatar, Immortal.
- Li Ge brought David and James back to the training grounds, and they agreed to leave the illusory world and blur their memories of its lifetimes.
- Tony, Peter, and the others asked Li Ge to let them reincarnate to reach the Domain Realm, but he refused to let them interfere in realistic illusory worlds and offered only a game-like alternative.
- Earth’s factions accepted peaceful coexistence with the Skrulls, while Ronan headed toward Terra and Peter Quill continued his journey home.
- Li Ge expanded his operations in Knowhere, collected souls from the Zombie World’s timeline, and found that the timeline was collapsing toward the present as Loki negotiated to trade it for Rule Stones.
- The Human Way agreed to offer Loki fifteen Rule Stones for the timeline and proposed adding the Time Variance Authority’s Infinity Stones to the trade.
