Li Ge rescued Christine Palmer from her fatal accident and made her a native of the Samsara Realm to overcome spacetime's rejection. He then spread cube-built continents across four worlds and began creating replacement pagodas that would exclude those who disrespected him.
Li Ge discovered that Kaecilius had stolen the Tower Reaching Heaven for Dormammu and turned the theft into a plan to challenge Dormammu’s control of the Dark Dimension. With Tony distracting Dormammu, Li Ge reforged the tower as the Demon Realm and began preparing it to spread his influence.
Li Ge escaped the spacetime turbulence and began assimilating the Zombie Universe into Block World, giving Peter and Bucky new powers and hope of saving survivors. Peter and Bucky prepared a base, tested a failed cure on a zombie, and went looking for other survivors, approaching Mark’s hidden refuge.
Mark and the survivors built an underground settlement as Peter and Li Ge’s group worked to assimilate the zombie world and contain its transformed Avengers. Zombie Wanda and Vision led an invisible horde against the settlement, where the survivors’ ability to resurrect let them hold their ground as Peter arrived and Mark drove Wanda back with lava.
Li Ge reshaped the Solar System while Strange, Wanda, and their allies fought Mephisto and Blackheart. Mephisto took Pietro into Hell, but Li Ge rescued him and planned to train him in the Zombie World as Tony prepared to face resurrected enemies.
Human Way moved to take control of Knowhere and the Zombie World while Li Ge’s influence spread through Hell and the multiverse. The arc ended with Human Way confronting Cassandra’s mutants on Knowhere and announcing himself as Immortal.
Li Ge transformed Knowhere into a fertile domain, forged a Divine Weapon Hall, and oversaw Earth’s rapid assimilation while Wanda and the others trained across the Solar System. As the Skrulls weighed their future, Talos and Nick Fury prepared to seek Earth’s approval and Li Ge’s recognition for their return.
Li Ge welcomed Carol Danvers into a sparring challenge, brought David and James back from thousands of years in an illusory world, and declined to let his allies use reincarnation as a shortcut. As the Skrulls and Earth chose peaceful coexistence, Li Ge’s influence spread through Knowhere and the Zombie World’s collapsing timeline became the subject of a proposed trade with Loki.
Li Ge paused the Solar System’s assimilation to forge fifteen Rule Stones for Loki while Strange and others pursued their own plans across the worlds. As factions prepared for upheaval around Earth, Loki and Dr. Zola moved to exploit the Skrulls, and the Defenders strengthened their hold over Hell’s Kitchen.
