Lynn completes his training and the Trial of the Medallion, then leaves Kaer Morhen with Geralt to hunt monsters and take contracts. After helping Geralt expose a corrupt captain and kill a Grave Hag, Lynn reaches Aedd Gynvael and turns down a long-term boxing partnership.

• Lynn trained under Vesemir and the other witchers, mastering swordsmanship, Signs, and Alchemy while hunting monsters for experience.
• Lynn and Lambert completed the Trial of the Medallion together, defeating harpies and Old Speartip, helping rock trolls, and activating the Circle of Elements.
• Lynn absorbed the Circle’s magic, passed the trial, and left Kaer Morhen with Geralt after the witchers celebrated his achievement.
• Lynn and Geralt took a contract near the Kaedwen-Aedirn border, rescued a merchant from Ghouls, and confronted the captain who had murdered the merchant’s workers.
• Lynn and Geralt traveled to a village seeking help with a monster, where Lynn identified and killed a Grave Hag that had been feeding on buried corpses.
• Half a month later in Aedd Gynvael, Lynn won a tavern boxing match and refused the organizer’s offer of a long-term partnership.

Lynn and Geralt guarded Istredd’s caravan, uncovered a conspiracy in Mahakam, and destroyed the Red Miasmal in an abandoned mine. The caravan reached Talgar, where an ambush left Istredd captured by a knight sent by King Lettenhove.

• Lynn accepted Istredd’s caravan guard commission and recruited Geralt to join the journey through Mahakam toward Talgar.
• When Scoia'tael archers ambushed the caravan, Lynn fought through the forest and killed their leader, Coinneach da Leo, before Geralt and the others ended the attack.
• In Mahakam, Lynn and Geralt uncovered a faction opposing Brovar, then accepted the great elder’s commission to investigate the cursed mine.
• Lynn and Geralt discovered the Red Miasmal’s history, fought its Aberrations, and burned the entity to ashes, while capturing Thor for Brovar.
• Brovar rewarded Lynn with four thousand orens and Gwyhyr, and the quarantined miners began recovering after the curse was lifted.
• Lynn and Geralt resumed the journey with Istredd’s caravan, collected Yarpen and his companions, and traveled through Dorian and Novigrad to Talgar.
• At a remote inn in Talgar, Lynn killed an intruder in his room while a towering knight captured Istredd and announced that King Lettenhove had sent a message for Baldwin Thyssen.

Lynn helped Istredd survive King Lettenhove’s attack and accepted valuable items in exchange for supporting Istredd’s cause. In Novigrad, Lynn solved Myshelle’s disappearance and Vimme’s haunted-house problem, advanced his alchemy, and was summoned to meet Triss Merigold.

• Lynn saved Istredd from Jad’s mercenaries, uncovered King Lettenhove’s role in the attack, and helped Istredd reach Talgar City safely.
• Istredd revealed his identity and offered Lynn the Eye of Nehaleni and his family signet ring, which Lynn accepted despite Geralt’s objections to political involvement.
• Lynn traveled to Oxenfurt to investigate Myshelle Sabina Lucks’s disappearance, traced her abduction to Vlasg and the Greenwood Brotherhood, and rescued her and her family.
• Lynn escorted Myshelle’s family to Novigrad and received payment from Ruxe and Professor Gloger for completing the rescue.
• Lynn accepted Vimme Vivaldi’s contract to clear a haunted villa, discovered a golem trapped beneath it, defeated the creature, and arranged for Vimme to auction its heart and specter dust.
• Lynn raised his Alchemy to Master/Limit, learned to make superior potions, oils, and bombs, and tested Superior Petri’s Philter before returning to Novigrad.
• Vimme told Lynn that Triss Merigold wanted to see him, and Lynn met her at the house he had cleared and toasted with her.

Lynn helped Triss investigate disappearances in Brokilon, killed the Mother Tree of Flesh, and rescued the captives before returning to Novigrad. He then took a job guarding Professor Gloger’s expedition, dealt with Kiyan’s attempt to kill him, and opened the entrance to Aet Aye’s ruins.

• Triss hired Lynn to investigate missing Kerack merchants in Brokilon, and he agreed to guide the expedition for four hundred crowns.
• Lynn joined Triss, Ser Waymar Royce, Tyrion, and Marillion on the journey, then led the group into Brokilon after warning them about its monsters.
• Undead wolves and a giant bear attacked the party, and Lynn fought them off before the group continued through the forest.
• Lynn used the Eye of Nehaleni to uncover signs of missing companions and followed the trail with Triss to the Mother Tree of Flesh, which held Ser Royce, Tyrion, and Marillion captive.
• Lynn and Triss destroyed the Mother Tree and freed the captives, then Lynn rescued the dryad Aglaïs before the group returned to Kerack.
• Lynn returned to Novigrad with Triss, settled into her house, and took in Kasja as a prospective servant while Triss arranged a Permanent Extension Charm.
• Lynn accepted Myshelle’s request to guard Professor Gloger’s expedition to Aet Aye, confronted Kiyan, and later killed him after Kiyan tried to murder him in his sleep.
• Lynn led Gloger’s party to Aet Aye, killed the Nekkers near the site, and opened the ruins’ entrance for the professor and his workers.
