Chaos Heaven is the realm’s strongest faction and commands its nine defensive cities. Every city lord comes from its ranks. At the time of Ye Xingchen’s early travels, its influence is described as encompassing half the realm, with all other factions collectively holding the remainder 366.
Its traditional role is to defend the Heaven Realm and fight the Extraterrestrial Domain Outsiders rather than participate in internal struggles. This restraint makes it a prestigious destination for ambitious cultivators, although the long period of comparatively minor border fighting allows internal discontent to grow 366.

- Recommendation tokens: Can grant direct entry to the finals; curing Lie Wushang’s daughter is offered as one way to obtain a token 366.
- Proposed battlefield trials: Reports later suggest that Yu Wangquan intends to send participants into a dangerous region of the Extraterrestrial Domain Battlefield to hunt enemies and investigate a mysterious site 546.
History
Earlier Wars
Ling Tian founded Chaos Heaven to defend the realm. During the previous age of great contention, he mortally sacrificed himself to grievously wound Xie Wuxiang, forcing the enemy leader into recovery for countless epochs. Smaller clashes continued after the major invasion ended 326 366.
The Heaven Realm’s defense also protects the realms behind it. The Lord of Chaos warns that the fall of Unbroken City would expose the Heaven Realm, followed by the Original Beginning Realm, Youming Realm, and Devil Realm 326.
According to Huang Tianzun, the invaders ultimately seek to destroy the Original Beginning Realm, the source of all things. Its destruction would also erase those who entered the Heaven Realm from that lower realm 445.
Ye Xingchen’s Arrival and Political Upheaval
After learning the danger facing the connected realms, Ye Xingchen enters the Heaven Realm through the Glory Platform. His initial travels reveal both its superior cultivation conditions and its entrenched factional conflicts 334 362 364.
His killing of Li Wuyi removes the Cloud-Hidden Immortal Palace’s strongest defender. Rival forces move against the weakened palace, and reports soon circulate that masked experts have destroyed it and seized its wealth, divine vein, and signature fist technique 435 438.
Huang Tianzun’s subsequent death in the lower realm triggers another upheaval. The Huang Lineage mobilizes its ancestors, while other major factions travel to the Original Beginning Realm. Ye Xingchen exposes the lineage’s attempt to obtain the Chaos Heaven Token and seize control of Chaos Heaven 490 497.
Ye Xingchen later unifies Chaos Heaven. His victory over Jian Wushuang further establishes his authority, and the realm’s major powers acknowledge him as their lord 535 546 554 559.
Xie Wuxiang’s Invasion
After reaching the Great Dao Realm, Xie Wuxiang launches a full invasion toward Unbroken City. Luo Qingshan organizes defenses, while hidden experts and faction reserves emerge to fight under Ye Xingchen’s leadership 559 560.
The defenders deploy formations and numerous Eternal Realm experts, but the escalating battle devastates the realm. Unbroken City’s golden formation shatters, and Ye Xingchen orders a retreat when he senses a greater danger 561 562.
Ye Xingchen subsequently repairs the shattered void with Heaven-Mending Stones. By his departure for the Chaos God Realm, the Heaven Realm has stabilized, the Extraterrestrial Domain Outsiders no longer threaten it, and Chaos Heaven stands above the other sects 568 570.
Upper-Realm Incursion and Renewal
During Ye Xingchen’s absence, Zhuge Xing and his followers break through the spatial barrier above Chaos Heaven. Luo Qingshan refuses to abandon the realm’s people and uses Ye Xingchen’s Heaven-Reaching Divine Talisman against the invaders 764.
Ye Xingchen later transforms the realm through the Divine Refining Heaven Cauldron, releasing life essence and fortune across it. He announces the Pan God Stone Bridge’s connection to the Chaos God Realm and promises Nine-Turn Origin Pills to qualifying experts who serve the Heaven Realm 773.
He then establishes the Ling Tian Stele and rallies the realm’s leaders around the Primordial Imperial Academy, linking future rewards to contributions made to the realm 777.
