As Yu Huiyin drove, she began pondering Su Yi's identity.

At first, she had not taken him seriously enough, but now even Bai Miaomiao and Ye Xiaxuan had started seeking Su Yi out. What did that mean?

Clearly, like her, those two had been sent by their families to find Su Yi.

The Bai family and the Ye Family were both considered prominent families throughout Qingzhou City.

With their Yu family added to the mix, three families wanted to build a good relationship with Su Yi. That meant there had to be something extraordinary about him!

Something very extraordinary!

"Little Yu, just drop me off outside the bar, and you can all leave. Unless something comes up, try not to come looking for me again," Su Yi said with a smile. "I see it now. Having you around me brings a lot of unnecessary trouble."

Little Yu? Yu Huiyin was going a little crazy inside. He actually called her Little Yu?

This guy looked even younger than she was!

"Doesn't this count as tearing down the bridge after crossing the river?" In the end, Yu Huiyin held herself back and said, "Since you've put it that way, I certainly won't come looking for you again."

She had spent the whole day keeping Su Yi company in earnest, which counted as completing the task her grandfather had given her. Now that Su Yi was the one telling her not to seek him out again, she could go back and report that her task was done.

Su Yi thought for a moment and said, "You can take it as tearing down the bridge after crossing the river. When you get back, please tell your grandfather that I don't want anyone else disturbing me. Once I get paid next month, I'll pay you back for what you spent on me today."

Yu Huiyin was embarrassed. "I'll pass your words on to my grandfather."

Su Yi's attitude was simply too arrogant.

He didn't want anyone disturbing him? Did he really think he was some high-ranking official?

It was only five in the afternoon when the car reached the entrance of the Sober Bar, and its doors were still closed.

"They're not open yet. Should I take you somewhere else to look around?" Yu Huiyin glanced at the so-called Sober Bar.

It counted as one of the larger bars on the street, but the larger a bar was, the more chaotic it was bound to be inside.

With so many drunk people packed together, some friction might well break out.

"Let me out first!" Su Yi looked out the car window, raising his eyebrows as an expectant smile appeared on his face.

Yu Huiyin looked back at Su Yi, then followed his gaze and saw a young woman standing outside the bar.

The young woman looked only about twenty, with delicate features and a frail, dainty appearance. She was dressed very simply, too.

Yu Huiyin could not help asking, "A friend of yours?"

"You could say that," Su Yi said.

"Pull that handle on the door yourself, and it'll open." Yu Huiyin believed that with Su Yi's intelligence, he would definitely learn how to open a car door right away.

Surely he couldn't expect her to open it for him every single time!

"Oh! You should've said so sooner." Su Yi casually opened the door, making Yu Huiyin's teeth itch with anger. She wished she could go right over and bite him.

After getting out, Su Yi slowly walked toward the young woman outside the bar. When they were three meters apart, she raised her head to glance at him, then lowered it again. She clearly did not know him.

Su Yi walked up beside her. Only then did she tilt her head to look at him and ask, "Hey, handsome, do you work here too?"

Su Yi nodded, smiling brightly as he introduced himself. "My name's Su Yi."

The young woman quickly smiled and nodded at him. "Hello, I'm Lin Yiyun."

"Do you work here too?" Su Yi asked.

"Yes. I interviewed yesterday, for a server position," Lin Yiyun said. "You just got out of that car. You must be pretty rich, right?"

Even without looking at the model, the license plate alone made it clear that the car's owner was either rich or powerful.

Su Yi shook his head. "I don't have much money. That car belongs to a friend."

"Oh," Lin Yiyun replied blandly, then stopped talking. Clearly, she did not want to pay Su Yi any more attention.

Su Yi said nothing more either, and the two simply stood quietly outside the bar.

Dusk gradually approached, and the neon lights along the street came on one after another, until a beautiful, full-figured middle-aged woman arrived and unlocked the bar's front doors.

"Are you two here to apply for jobs?" The middle-aged woman glanced at Su Yi and Lin Yiyun. "Come inside with me first."

"My name is Zhang Ting. You can call me Sister Ting." The middle-aged woman walked to the front desk and said, "Give me copies of your IDs, and leave your phone numbers and names."

"Hello, Sister Ting. I'm Lin Yiyun."

"I'm Su Yi."

Zhang Ting gave Lin Yiyun a long look, then smiled and asked, "Little Lin, are you applying to be a server? The pay for servers isn't very high."

Lin Yiyun knew what she meant and quickly said, "Sister Ting, I only want to be a server. I don't mind if the pay is a little low. Nothing shady goes on here, right? If it really is that chaotic, then forget it."

Zhang Ting nodded. "Since you only want to be a server, I guarantee nothing will happen to you. If you run into any problems, just tell Sister Ting. I'll have your back."

Listening to their conversation, Su Yi felt there seemed to be something fishy going on.

"Sister Ting, what else can you do besides being a server?" Su Yi was curious about everything in this new world. Could there actually be other jobs?

When he came yesterday, he had seen the bar's recruitment ad. There were positions for lobby managers, business managers, and so on, each with different pay and benefits.

"You?" Zhang Ting looked Su Yi over a couple of times. This young man was certainly handsome, and at his age, he was also at his most energetic.

"How well can you hold your liquor?" Zhang Ting asked.

Su Yi thought for a moment, then said seriously, "A thousand cups wouldn't get me drunk, I suppose!"

"Hah!" Zhang Ting could not help scoffing. Plenty of people in bars claimed a thousand cups would not get them drunk.

"Then would you be willing to drink and chat with the ladies? The base salary is three thousand, plus commission on drinks." Zhang Ting had run a bar for who knew how many years. Sometimes, women's needs were far greater than men's.

Su Yi frowned and asked, "Just drinking and chatting with them would be enough?"

"If those ladies need it, you'll have to sleep with them too," Zhang Ting said flatly.

"No way!" Su Yi refused outright. Have him sleep with women?

What kind of joke was that?

So many women had lusted after his body without getting their wish. Now, for three thousand yuan, he would have to sleep with who knew how many women? How could that possibly happen?

Zhang Ting smiled. "Then can you hold a conversation? It's fine if you don't sleep with them. As long as you keep those ladies happy enough to come back next time, that'll do."

"Chatting? That shouldn't be a problem." Su Yi had asked yesterday. A server's daily duties involved carrying drinks to customers, opening them, and fetching whatever the customers wanted-all tedious, simple tasks.

But if he could get paid just to chat and drink, that would be pretty good too.
