Chu Tiannan killed the Mad Tiger Battle Team after surviving the Shadow Rat Tide, then returned to South China Base City and prepared to enter the Martial God Preparatory Camp. As he said goodbye to Luo'er and his friends, the camp's Martial God representatives arrived to collect him.

• Chu Tiannan killed the Golden Scale Beast with Single-Line Flow but failed to advance, then later killed the breaking-through Teng King Snake and reached Martial Grandmaster level.
• Robert attacked Chu Tiannan for the Teng King Snake's corpse and Heavenly Sin, but a level-five Shadow Rat tide swept through Yuhai City and devoured Robert's teammates.

• Martial God Haoran recruited Chu Tiannan into the Martial God Preparatory Camp, and Chu Tiannan said farewell to his companions before leaving South China Base City for Jingzhou Base City.

• An Liena met Chu Tiannan at his cabin, kissed him, and promised to keep his secret, while Lin Yurou left him handmade pastries at the door.
• Chu Tiannan joined the rookies at Martial God Island, where he faced Liu Jin in the tournament and defeated him decisively.
• Chu Tiannan defeated Marcus after resisting his soul attacks and seeing through his Illusion Lightning, securing China Alliance Region’s place in the final.
• Luo'er conceded the final to Chu Tiannan, and he began cultivating as Elder Yuan and the other councilors guarded him.
