During her childhood, Yurou nearly became one of the young people demanded as tribute by the Myriad Demon Abyss. Her father prevented the demonic cultivator from taking her. The same organization continued extracting a hundred boys and girls from East Forest City each year 34 35.

Lin Feng discovered Yurou’s four positive traits while staying at her father’s residence. Impressed by her Supreme-Grade Water Spiritual Root and Flawless Golden Core trait, he offered to accept her as a personal disciple. Yurou and Tie Dali fight the paired Mystic-Patterned Rock Bears guarding an advanced hidden-vein spring stronghold. Tie Dali prevents the male bear from assisting its mate, while Yurou kills the female after its partner falls. Lin Feng regards the battle as an important step in overcoming their lack of life-and-death combat experience 21.

Later, Yurou investigates an outpost seized by the Daoxuan Sect. Guided by its displaced azure wolf guard, she breaks the barrier with a casual sword strike and restores the Evergreen Sect’s ownership. Following a prolonged negotiation with Perfected Daoxuan, she secures five hundred mid-grade spirit stones in compensation 25 26.

Destruction of the Myriad Demon Abyss

After receiving her father’s warning, Yurou returns to East Forest City and hunts down the demonic emissary. He escapes her first sword strike with a substitute puppet, but she locates him through spiritual sense and severely wounds him with Wind-Splitting Claw. Her accompanying disciples capture him and obtain the location of the Myriad Demon Abyss 34 35.

Yurou leads the initial assault while Tie Dali remains hidden in reserve. She kills nearly ten demonic cultivators and overwhelms the abyss lord, whose cultivation is at half-step Foundation Establishment. The battle reverses when he uses Demon Abyss Body Infusion to reach mid Foundation Establishment: Yurou suffers internal injuries and is forced onto the defensive until Tie Dali intervenes and kills him 36.

The two then spend the night hunting down the organization’s absent members, completing its destruction. Upon returning to the sect, Yurou recovers fully after eating Lu Daxi’s spirit-sheep feast 37.
