• Zuo Ruoqie recovered on Egret Island and entered a hidden chamber where nine captive girls were chained around a restriction that produced blood-drinking black bats.
• Zuo Ruoqie used the bats and the girls’ life essence to activate the restriction, expecting it to help him break through to the Super Level.
• Zuo Ruoqie discovered the restriction transformed its user into a Dark Bat Lord, while buried magic energy stones supplied the energy for the change.

Lu Wu killed Zuo Ruoqie after overpowering him with three Rulers, then rescued the surviving girls and made Zuo Ruoqie and Lin Rong’s crimes public. Back in Linlu Harbor, Lu Wu planned to develop the harbor and Egret Island into a trading hub and went to meet Councilman Shao Zheng.

• Lu Wu confronted Zuo Ruoqie after the ritual killed four girls and revealed that he had moved the five survivors to safety.
